In this chapter, I only own the girls and their three Zords, nothing else.

Chapter 2: First Battle

Ninjor stepped forward and took the glass top off the box. "As Gosei calls your name, step forward to receive your Power Key and your new powers," he said.

"Rachel," said Gosei and she stepped forward. "You have a true heart and are very brave. You shall have the Gold Power and the Scorpion Zord will obey your commands."

"I accept," she said and accepted the Gold Power Key from Ninjor, feeling power flood into her as he then placed a metallic bracelet in her hand too. With a bow of respect, she stepped back to where her sisters were standing. Jessica was called up next.

"Jessica, you are a quick thinker and an observer," Gosei said. "You shall have the Aqua Power and the Dolphin Zord will be your Zord."

"I accept," she said as she accepted the Aqua Power Key and a metallic bracelet from Ninjor.

"And finally, Sally. You are bold and graceful. You shall have the Purple Power and the Eagle Zord will be yours," said Gosei as the young girl accepted the Purple Power Key and a metallic bracelet from the blue ninja master. "Place the bracelets on your left wrists."

All three did so. "To morph, insert your keys into the bracelet where the teeth of the key match," he said.

All three nodded to show they understood. Suddenly, an alarm blared. "What's going on?" asked Rachel.

"Loogies," said Robo Knight. "They're causing trouble in town again."

"Guess that's our cue," said the older girl as she turned to her sisters. "Ready?"

"Ready," they both said in unison and without delay.

"Then it's time to morph!"

With that, the girls each inserted their key into their bracelets. Immediately, they felt their armor surround them as their helmets came on. Rachel's armor was gold and white, Jessica's was aqua and white, and Sally's was purple and white. After they had morphed, Blue Senturion came forward with three strange robots in his hands that looked like a scorpion, a dolphin, and an eagle.

"Are these our Zords?" asked Sally.

"Yes," said Gosei. "Extend your left arms and let the Zords come to you."

They did so and soon their Zords were sitting on their shoulders. "You girls are now the Power 3," said Gosei. "Defenders of Earth and the Milky Way Galaxy."

"Before you go out into battle, you will need vehicles, but you also need to name your Zords," said Ninjor. "These three Zords require names so that you can call them easily."

Rachel looked at her Scorpion Zord and nodded. "Scorpio, like the constellation," she said.

"Splash," said Jessica as she watched her Zord do a small jump in the air.

Sally was quiet for a moment until she nodded. "Sky," she said.

"Now for your vehicles," said Robo Knight as three vehicles were revealed. The three robots each guided their charge to which vehicle they would drive. Rachel's eyes widened behind her helmet as she looked at the black Camaro she'd be driving and smiled to herself.

Jessica smiled as she saw the silver Corvette that was hers to drive. Even though she was fourteen, she had always dreamed of driving and having a fancy car. Now, it was a dream come true for her.

Sally managed to keep her excited squeal in when she was led to a blue Mustang Shelby. The idea of driving was exciting for her.

"Now that you have your powers, Zords, and vehicles, you are ready to face the Loogies, but be warned. Master Vile and his children are very slippery opponents ," Gosei warned them.

Rachel nodded. "We'll be careful," she promised and turned to her sisters and teammates. "Alright, Power 3. Let's show them that they can't cause trouble without hearing from us."

Her sisters let out agreeing shouts as they all climbed into their cars and drove towards the scene of the trouble and saw Loogies chasing the people around.

"Stop it right now!" said Jessica, catching the attention of three creeps. One looked like a creepy guy with snakes around him and the other two looked like a badly-dressed princess and the other a camouflaged skeleton.

"Well, well, looks like Gosei and those robotic fools sent in some new playmates for you, my children," said the creepy guy.

"That's Master Vile," said Rachel, her voice sure.

"Yeah, and those must be Rita and Rito, his kids," said Sally.

"And a whole bunch of Loogies," said Jessica.

All three looked at each other and nodded. "Let's do it," said Rachel as the three charged into the Loogies, drawing out their weapons. Rachel struck down the yellow space freaks with her swords, spinning around and tossing throwing stars around, knocking down several before she put away one sword and pulled out a whip, knocking down more Loogies.

Jessica spun around with her staff, hitting several Loogies on their heads and then putting away her staff and drawing out two sais, throwing them with precise accuracy and knocking down the Loogies that came at her.

Sally was spinning around rapidly as her nunchucks slapped into the Loogies, sending them flying. Soon, all the Loogies were down and the three faced Master Vile, Rita, and Rito.

"You're next, Vile!" said Rachel.

"I wouldn't count on it," he said as suddenly he and his children disappeared in bright flashy light. "We'll battle again, Power 3!"

"Aw, man!" said Sally. "They escaped!"

"They didn't want to fight us because the battle wasn't in their favor," said Jessica.

"Don't worry," said Rachel. "I've got a feeling we'll be clashing with them again sooner than we'd like."

With that, the three headed back to the Command Center, where their guardians congratulated them on their first victory.

"Well done, Power 3," said Gosei. "You have won this battle, but it's only the first of many."

The girls nodded solemnly. "We understand," said Rachel. "And we'll be ready when they show their faces again."

"Remember girls, no one must know who the Power 3 really are," said Ninjor.

"Always be alert," said Blue Senturion. "Master Vile is not only ruthless but very sneaky as well."

"Never use your power for evil," said Robo Knight.

All three girls nodded in understanding and agreement.

That evening, they were in their room, looking at their bracelets and Power Keys while their Zords explored the bedroom. "This is really awesome," said Rachel with a smile.

"True," said Jessica.

"I think this summer's going to be the best," said Sally, her smile huge.

Rachel smiled at both her sisters. "Yes," she said in agreement. "It will be."

"No doubt about it," said Jessica as the sisters all stacked their hands on top of each other's in a symbol of sticking together.

"Power 3!" they cheered in unison.

Meanwhile, Master Vile was thinking. "The Power 3 think they can stop me," he chuckled evilly. "I think they'll soon learn that they are powerless to stop me."

With that, he let out an evil cackle that Gosei, Ninjor, Robo Knight, and Blue Senturion heard. "Do you think the girls can do it?" asked Ninjor, his voice filled with worry.

"Don't worry too much," said Gosei reassuringly. "They were well chosen. I have no doubt they can stop Master Vile and his children for good."

The other three nodded in agreement, hoping that soon the world would be safe once more.

Especially with the Power 3 on the job now.
