"MeeMee!" Kathryn and Angelina cried, their arms outstretched. Ciel knelt down in the grass, embracing the children. They were soon joined by the older Michaelis children, wrapping their arms around their mother.

"Happy Mommy's day, Mommy. Happy Baby Day, Brothers and sisters." Rachel Michaelis cried.

"Happy Baby Day!" The reply in unison caused the demonling to giggle. When they parted, Angelina glanced around the courtyard in curiosity. Butterflies flew past the child, tempting her to follow, a temptation that she could not ignore. With a soft growl, she reached out to the insect narrowly missing it. The demonling glared at the creature and followed, getting further away from her family. She turned back, looking to her mother who was now being offered gifts from the eldest children.

"Meemee?" She called softly, Ciel didn't reply, unable to hear his daughter, she waved a tiny clawed hand and continued on her way. The orange butterfly continued to flutter just out of reach.

"My!" She declared, making small grabbing motions, hurrying after it. She soon found Pluto who lay asleep in the grass. She paused in front of the dog, touching his nose and tilting her head.

"My?" when the demon hound didn't respond, she gently rested her head on his face for a moment. "My, My." She recalled her mother pressing his lips to her forehead just before laying her in bed, followed by the words "I love you" She opened her mouth pressing it softly to Pluto's fur.

"Ma' She said softly, She waved and once again patted his nose before resuming her journey.

She scanned her surroundings once more, but the insect was gone. She growled in frustration, turning toward the forest that surrounded the castle. The demonling entered slowly, moving past trees and bushes, listening to the sounds of the birds singing above her.

"My, my?" She called out, moving deeper into the woods. Soon, the bright sunny sky was hidden by the trees. The child stopped at the sound of a twig snapping to her right.

"Na, na." She said shaking her head. "My Meemee." Angelina drew in a breath, bravely pressing forward. The sudden rustling of the leaves, caused her to pause, she tilted her head in curiosity, her eyes fixed on the bush beside her.

"My?" She called. After a moment, a brown and white rabbit appeared. Angelina watched as it sniffed the air and cautiously hop out from its hiding place. She reached out to touch it, slowly toddling forward.

"I." She greeted. The rabbit quickly turned to the sound and clearly frightened by the visitor, bolted into the distance. Angelina whimpered sadly.

"Meemee!" She sobbed, sitting down on the ground. She covered her eyes with her hands as she cried.

"Angelina Marie, come here." Ciel invited from behind. The demonling turned to find her mother kneeling, his arms outstretched. Angelina needed no further encouragement. She stood and rushed into her mother's arms.

Ciel held his daughter close to him, patting her back softly.

"Did you really think I didn't see you leave?" he asked gently. "Don't cry my little angel, I was here with you the whole time.I'm going to have to really watch you, You have to understand, bunnies are afraid of a lot of things. There isn't much that scares you, is there You're so much like your father.

"Dadyee?" She sniffled.

"That's right, your father.."Ciel confirmed. "Have you had enough of your little adventure?" Angelina lifted her head, pointing ahead of them. Ciel sighed.

"What's so important out here?" He asked.

"Meemee." She exclaimed pointing once again.

"Angel-" Angelina growled softly.

"Fine, we'll go, but we're not going much further. Your grandparents are coming over for Mother's Day." He said, lowering the demonling onto her feel. Angelina took hold of her mother's hand, leading him down the path.

Finally after what felt like hours to Ciel, they came to a clearing and the sun once again rained down over them. various colored rose bushes lined the area.

"Meemee!" Angelina bounced on her feet, releasing her mother and hurrying to the plants.

"Wait a moment, Angel." Ciel called chasing after his daughter.

"Meemee's!" she said, picking two of each color until she came to Ciel's favorite white roses. Using her tiny claws to remove them, she took as many as her tiny hand could carry and ran back to her mother, offering the flowers to Ciel, her tiny fangs were visible

The former earl again knelt before his youngest daughter.

"Meemee's" She repeated. Ciel took the flowers and to his surprise, the child wrapped her tiny arms around him, resting her head on his chest.

"They are happy." The tiny voice reached his ears.

I did not have a present for my Meemee. I am not a good baby, you love me anyway. Even when I am saying grr to everyone. Your happy sound is always nice for me. I am sorry I am bad. I do love my Meemee, even when I get cranky. You came to keep me safe, you are a good Meemee to have and you are mine. I want you to be loved too. I did not get anything to give you.

Touched by the gesture from his wild child, Ciel kissed her head softly.

"My little one, I've told you this before, I love you and your siblings no matter what. Even when you're cranky and fussy, you never need to worry about presents. All I'll ever want is for my little ones to be safe and happy. You and your brothers and sisters are my gifts. Thank you, my precious little angel. Let's go home now, we'll press these in a book and then I can keep them forever.

"Can I have up to go home?" Ciel lifted the demonling into his arms and allowed her to rest against his shoulder sleepily. She closed her eyes. Now that she had found the perfect gift for her mother, Angelina Michaelis was ready for a long nap.
