"Loki, you're going to have to disguise yourself," Sif insisted. Truly I wanted to walk out there in all of my garb and watch Odin's reactions.

"Yeah, Allfather doesn't know about this, nor do we intend on him finding out," Hogun stopped walking and planted his feet in front of me.

"Heimdall, isn't this treason?" I smirked at the typically law abiding man.

He didn't meet my eyes.

"Fine," I snapped, closing my eyes and transforming into the first person on my mind. "Yes?"

They gave me a onceover and nodded. "But, Lady Sif, won't you be distracted by how attractive I've become?" I cackled, throwing out my hips and leading the way disguised as Fandral from the warriors three. Maybe this would be fun after all.

"You'll have to disguise Jane as well... she's mortal, after all."

I looked disapprovingly at the girl. She was folded within herself, her arms crossed, her face hidden behind her hair. She was insecure.

"Who would you like to be?"

"I don't know many Asgardians... you can choose."

Sif sighed. She had suggested the wrong thing. I smirked. "As you wish." I closed my eyes and changed her. Everyone caught their breath. And released it in surprise to see I had chosen Brynhidlr, a woman I'd seen only a few times but was very beautiful. The others seem satisfied enough with me.

And then trouble arrived. Of course.

Anger washed over me as we approached the foul man, the other three watching me with narrowed eyes. No, I wouldn't attack him, not as Fandral. I wanted to attack him as Loki. Of all the horrible things I'd become, a fraud would not be one of them.

"Heimdall, what ever are you doing out of the bifrost?" Odin inquired, looking us up and down warily.

"I'm on my way back, Allfather," he hurried along ahead of us. The anger was boiling with ferocity by then, it took every fiber in my being to not leap from my disguise and onto Odin, to do anything that my anger told me to do. Sif's clutch on my arm tightened, sensing my internal battle.

"Hurry back, you shouldn't be abandoning your duties," Odin frowned and began walking away. Sif released a relieved breath. Until Odin stopped in his tracks and turned around.

"Fandral? Back from Anaheim already? I thought you'd be there another month."

I opened my mouth to explain but Sif quickly cut me off. "Yes, he has since returned. Have a nice day, Allfather," and she was hurrying us along then, leaving Odin confused. We fled the room quickly, probably raising his suspicion. Oh well. They were the ones who actually had something to lose.

The rainbow bridge… it was strange seeing it again. I hadn't seen it since it'd been destroyed and left in ruins. People were scattered among the bridge, using magics to strengthen it and fix it up. It was coming along, almost done from what I assumed. For once, Thor had been the one to break the rules by destroying the rainbow bridge. It pleased me.

"Wait!"

We all turned in annoyance; the others were quite in a rush. To my surprise, Rain was flying towards us, her legs kicking up dust at the speed of her sprint. "Wait, please!" Huffing, she finally arrived at our side.

"Rain, what is it that you're doing out of the dungeon?" Heimdall asked calmly, but there were obvious hints of underlying anger.

"I know of what you plan on doing… I demand you take me with you."

"We couldn't possibly do that!" Hogun insisted.

"Please. I cannot live with the possibility of never seeing Loki again." Her tone softened and I widened my eyes in abrupt surprise. Someone… liked me? Someone enjoyed my company? Someone was willing to risk their lives just to protect me?

"Rain, too many of us are leaving. Odin will be suspicious. And you'll probably be killed, you aren't a skilled enough warrior," Sif nearly growled the last part. I knew she always had a problem with Rain, but she was taking it to another degree.

"Rain should come," Heimdall replied. "Another woman aboard would help keep us in check."

"Heim-"

"I will alert the Allfather that Lady Rain has decided to visit friends in Anaheim, and Fandral will be returning with her."

Rain smiled, and it was truly beautiful, the way her lips pulled at her cheeks to reveal two tiny dimples, the way her teeth nearly blinded me; her smile was perfectly crooked.

"Where's Loki?" she asked, her eyes concerned. I smiled.

"Unfortunately I am Fandral today," I bowed. She was taken aback but simply nodded, knowing something dangerous must be brewing. I slipped my hand into hers. "Let's go."
