Loud sirens happen to screech as thousands of people tried to flee Tokyo with their lives. Godzilla and Ignitus glared at each other as both monsters got ready to fight. Steve began to sweat as he likely wouldn't be able to survive a clash of the titans. "Let's go before things get rough!" Steve yelled as he swiftly grabbed Miki's arm to make a run for it. "He needs our help!" Miki shouted pulling her arm back.
"I've seen enough movies to know this ain't going to end well!" Steve retorted. Ignitus let out another roar as Godzilla narrowed his eyes. His nose began to puff out smoke while he growled. The stage has been set for a quarrel unlike any other.
Steve looked back and saw a worried look on Miki's face. "What if he doesn't make it?" She cried.
"What gives you the idea that Godzilla wants to protect us?" Steve asked in frustration. "He's trying to save the planet!" Miki whined. Steve folded his arms and sighed. "Well he sure has an interesting way of showing it."
The ground beneath them begun to shake as Ignitus charged at Godzilla and slammed both fists into his face.
Ignitus then continued to beat him down with fierce blows on all fronts. Showing no mercy Godzilla lunged forward with a powerful jaw attack. Ignitus evaded and pinned him into a headlock only to follow up with more punches. Godzilla broke free and countered with a brutal tail swipe.
That was a poor choice as Ignitus grabbed his tail and threw him across the city smashing into a colossal skyscraper. Miki gasped in horror as Godzilla was seemingly down for the count. Ignitus grinned viciously as it tore off a sharp end of a barely standing tower. "Not going to say I didn't see that coming." Steve jested causing Miki to smack him again except harder. Luckily for them Godzilla slowly got back up on his feet.
"I knew he wouldn't give up that quickly!" Miki beamed. Steve raised an eyebrow while folding his arms. "Is he really on our side?" He thought to himself. Godzilla paused for a minute as he realized this won't be an easy fight.
This could go either way for better or worse. Ignitus ran towards him going for the kill. Godzilla managed to duck in time and bite down on it's leg.
Instead of going for another tail swipe Godzilla had something better in mind. With just enough force he tossed Ignitus by releasing his grip. Ignitus looked up to see Godzilla stomp it into the ground. Realizing it's now or never Ignitus kicked Godzilla away and grabbed the pointy object.
Godzilla swatted it away to even up the plain field. Now both creatures have to brawl using their natural skills.
Ignitus lowered down it's head and charged at Godzilla as a battering ram. That would have finished it had Godzilla not caught both horns. "You can do it!" Miki cheered as Godzilla looked back. Steve quickly silenced Miki by closing her mouth. Godzilla decided to focus back on what's important as Ignitus tries impaling him. Godzilla lifted it by the head and knocked it away with a fierce jab.
Miki could barely contain herself as Godzilla started to gain the upper hand. Steve however was not impressed. "We might really win this!" Miki cried with joy. "What's there to win?" Steve growled. Miki looked at him in confusion. "What is that supposed to mean?" She asked.
"Take a look around you!" Steve yelled. "We don't benefit from either outcome!" Miki sighed as she moved closer to him.
At this point Tokyo looked as if a bomb had blew it up to kingdom come. Many buildings within the area has been demolished. The railroads have been entirely crushed underneath. "I know we'll get through this." Miki said in a calm and smoothing tone.
Steve closed his eyes and sighed. All he ever wanted to do life is to serve and protect his country. Witnessing exactly how it got to here devastated him.
"What future do we have?" He asked bitterly. Miki teared up as it pained her greatly to see him like this. "Hopefully it's one we face together." She replied as a light began to shine like a beacon. Steve was completely taken back as Miki caught notice of his blank stare. "Now what's the problem?" She asked with a hand on her hip. Steve pointed her into the direction of Godzilla.
The intense battle has both monsters fatigued and covered in wounds. Neither combatant was able to deliver the finishing blow. Godzilla however planned to do just that. His dorsal plates started to glow white as he powered up. Miki began to connect the dots until she gasped.
"You might want to get down!" Miki panicked. "Get down from what?" Steve asked. Right at that moment a beam of concentrated radiation fired at Ignitus.
Godzilla unleashed the ultimate attack no one saw coming. "Of course he can do that!" Steve muttered. After a few seconds of atomic breath it was all over. Ignitus fell down to the ground in total defeat. "Skreeonk!" Godzilla roared as the victor. "Hey is the other guy dead?" Steve asked. Miki touched the neck of the fallen beast to verify. "No but it won't be causing anymore trouble!"
Steve fell on his back and sighed in relief. "The general would never believe this!" Suddenly from nowhere a dimensional portal began to suck everything in it's path. Godzilla was too drained to properly repel and ended up getting caught in it's void never to be heard from again.
