Reia becomes a Surgeon!?

(I don't own pokemon or trauma center)

After Reia works hard as a nurse, Derek Stiles decides to have her be trained as a surgeon for in case he is unavailable, testing her by treating a GUILT victim, with James observing, but it may not seem very simple as that...

This story probably going to be a Three or four parter so bear with me okay?

It's been 2 days since Reia has been training under the guidance of and Nurse Angie, helping them with patients in Caduceus most particularly her main crush James Buchanan a pokemon trainer striving to become a Pokemon arua master, but right now James was recovering from a fierce battle that made him lose not only his right arm, but his Dad as well.

On this day Dr. Stiles was talking to the director of Caduceus Robert Hoffman who previously worked at hope hospital as Director but, unfortunate circumstances caused him to take over as Caduceus director but that's a story for another time.

"How is Reia doing Derek?" Hoffman asked,

"She seems to be getting on well, though I feel she should be tested as a surgeon sir."

Hoffman looked at Derek intrigued, "Oh? Why do you think that?"

"I can't put my finger on it, but I have the feeling there's something about her that's just waiting to be found." Derek replied thoughtfully.

"You think she may have a gift like yours?" Hoffman said knowingly.

Derek nodded "It's possible but I can't be certain yet, that's why I want to test her."

Hoffman considered his thoughts, "Very well I'll assign her to be your assistant surgeon for now, if she proves she's up to the task then she shall be a surgeon."

Derek nodded in agreement and walked off to Reia to tell her the news.

On Reia's end she was checking up on James who was still struggling to adapt to his new mechanical arm.

"How's it going for you James?" Reia asked.

"Eh a few minor accidents, but I'll manage this thing!" James said with an hyperactive smile.

"By a few "minor accidents" you mean sneaking out of bed to build lightsabers and breaking a few parts in my bloody lab Mr Buchanan!" Came a grouchy voice which belonged to Victor Niguel, the head researcher of Caduceus.

"Oh come on Victor! One small incident in the lab and you make a huge fuss about it!" James said annoyed.

"Well some people need to appreciate my genius and understand my suffering!" Victor snapped.

The two of them argued and bickered loudly until Angie banged her fist on the wall.

"QUIT IT YOU TWO! YOUR FOOLISH QUARREL IS DISTURBING THE OTHER PATIENTS!" she scolded.

The boys glared at each other but said nothing. "Unless you want to have a needle stuck to your arm Victor I suggest you run along." Angie said coldly making Victor jump and run away to James' pleasure.

"Maybe you want to have that too James?" Reia said with a smile holding an needle, causing James to jump backward.

"Fine...you girls win..." James sighed, to Reia and Angie's amusement.

At that moment Dr. Stiles entered the room "Um excuse me Reia and Angie could I talk to you for a few moments?"

"WHAT!?" Reia shrieked, "ME!? A SURGEON!? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND DEREK!?" Reia exclaimed after told her what he and the director discussed.

"Not at all Reia, I think you have potential to be that doctor, you just need experience first, that's what I'm here for." Derek said calmly.

"What operation will I help you perform Derek?" Reia asked.

Derek explained, "It's a GUILT victim named Connor Mark, he's infected with Deftera in his left lung, I chose a simple case for you to follow me on, though you can learn more from Victor on how to treat the strains so far."

Reia looked at Derek then at Angie, and back again, "Okay then I'll do it with you, after all there's a boy I have to look after in health so I have to do this!" She answered bravely.

Derek smiled, "That's the spirit when you're ready, we'll begin the operation."

After Reia told James what had transpired he decided to watch her to help boost confidence.

-Patient briefing-

"Okay now that you're here Reia I'll begin the briefing, like mentioned earlier the Patient is infected with Deftera in the Right lung," Angie explained "Deftera comes in pairs which when both combine form a tumor, so when the Deftera combine use the drain to drain the Cosptoplasm from the Deftera, then extract it with a Scapel and Forceps, this gives you one main objective: Extract the Deftera." Angie finished.

"Okay I'll be your assistant so keep calm and steady Reia." Derek reassured her.

Reia then on instinct struck a pose with her right arm held out, "Alright! Let's begin the operation!" Derek got a sense of deja vu (Is that what I always look like doing that...?) He thought to himself as they headed in the O.R.
