The girls stepped out of the car while Cashmere opened the trunk to get out both suitcases. Yvette looked around and took a few pictures.
"Beautiful scenery.." She says reviewing the pictures. Cashmere groans. "Yvette!" She whines, and Yvette quickly helps her with the suitcases. "You sure you guys will be fine..?" Their mother asks stepping out of the car herself. "Yes mom, we'll be just fine." Cashmere says forcefully and not daring to make eye contact with her mother. Yvette shakes her head and hugs their mom. "We'll miss you Mama. Take good care of Amélie while I'm gone." She smiles lightly. Amélie was her kitten she had gotten for her 18th birthday.
"I will, goodbye my little girl." Her voice cracks and she gets back into the car. Yvette chuckles and takes her suitcase. She and her sister walk to the front office and check in. Yvette looked at her surroundings. She was normal to this hustle and bustle, and sort of loved it. Once they were done, they headed to their dorm.
"So..what do you think it'll be like? Living here?" Cashmere asked checking her phone. Yvette shrugged. I don't know. But I hope it'll be- She gets cut off by a scream of horror. The sisters look behind them quickly to a brown haired girl on the ground and a boy trying to regain her consciousness. "What's going on over there..?" Yvette asked quietly and took her phone out of her pocket. "I'm gonna go check it out.." She says walking towards them.
"Blaire?! Ugh, Oz Blaire wake up!" The boy says shaking the girl. "H-Hey...Is she okay?" Yvette asks bending down. The boy looks at her. "What's it to you? I've got it under control." He says meanly and she gets up. "Just trying to help..What caused this anyway?" " H-Her... " He says shaking and pointing a certain direction.
Yvette looks and sees a tall girl with raven hair. She had a blue coat, skirt and turtle neck on. But most importantly, she was green! It was unlike anything she'd ever seen before. She had been to the emerald city and people were dressed up, but who would dress up today? And the most interesting thing about it was, it didn't look fake.
"What are you all looking at?!" The green girl says coldly. Yvette steps back and looks around to see a whole crowd formed around the scene. "No I didn't eat grass when I was younger, no I'm not seasick, and yes. I have always looked this way." She says moving around. She finally got real close to Yvette, making her blush a bright red. "And you. I see you have one big ass camera. Are you gonna take pictures of me? Huh?!" Yvette stutters with her words. "I..I uh..."
A rather old lady comes into the scene and speaks with her loud voice, making the green girl turn to face her. Yvette lets out a sigh of relief as people crowd her. "Are you okay?!" A girl says. "Did she hurt you?" A boy yells.
Cashmere pulls her aside. "She was in your face, I saw. Are you good?" Yvette nods slowly. Cashmere pulls her by the arm. "Let's just go okay?" " Y-Yeah..Okay. " They walk to their dorm ignoring the commotion behind them.
