Disclaimer: I don't own Fairy Tail, just this story.
Hassle, nuisance, in light pain; "Ugh!" Grunted the dark haired Slayer, right after a punch driven straight to his stomach had been delivered by the Hakuryū; the Twin Dragons of Sabertooth were in the middle of a training session;"Enough for today, Sting..." Huffed then the quieter mage, grabbing the opposing male's wrist, posterior to the impact, to later drive it away; for some reason, Rogue Cheney seemed to lack concentration after the events that took place that morning.
"Oi, what's up today, Rogue?" Asked the blond scarred male, flashing out a confident smirk at his partner's reaction; "You seem even weirder than usual this morning!" Playfully remarked the extroverted mage in a teasing manner, proceeding then to display his arms on a crossed formation, shooting a glance towards his companion of actual doubt.
"Nothing..." Reticently responded Rogue, radiating his signature atmosphere of distant coldness; "I just... Don't feel like doing this right now... Not focused." Added then the peculiar teenager, holding now, with his right hand, his stomach; managing not to get rid of the unpleasant sentation his fellow guildmate's blow had submerged him into.
"Aye, I won't have hurt you, right?" Asked Sting Eucliffe, in an irking manner, right after witnessing the Eiryū hold his stomach, which hinted slight pain to the cocky blond; "I mean... We can totally stop if I did." Remarked then the scarred blond mage, flashing out a sample of his childish personality; defying his companion in such way was the plan the Hakuryū had in mind to proceed with the – apparently entertaining – training session both were sharing.
"Stop being ridiculous, Sting..." Coldly shot the dark haired Slayer at the opposing male's remark then, unamused by such childlike antic; "And I'm not falling for that again... It's too old already." Cleverly pointed Rogue out then, already aware of – all – his compantion's attempts to trick him.
"But... We'll never beat Natsu-san this way!" Attempted to object the the Hakuryū, in order to convince his guildmate. However, knowing Rogue had no interest in such topic, Sting eventually eventually himself facing the ominous silence of the fellow mage, which strongly hinted a negative response. He sighed, providing a slight shrug to eventually give up against the imposing quietness of his comrade; "Aye, alright, alright..." Lowly exclaimed then – a "sad" – Sting; "How about later, though?" Asked the childish male, in hopes of getting affirmative answer to his request this time.
Rogue gave a sigh, rolling then his eyes to finally grant the opposing male what he desired; "Alright, alright..." Lowly responded the Shadow Dragon Slayer, drawing at the same time a smile a wide smile across his companion's lips; "But later." He firmly remarked, to what Sting nodded.
However, unexpectedly, through their dialogue, a sudden sound suddenly interrupted the moment both were sharing; "E-Excuse me...? Sting-sama?" A timid, femenine voice could be percieved out of the room where the Twin Dragons of Sabertooth were in; right after kocking the door that acted as barrier between that habitation and another, the figure of a petitte sized woman with short, light-colored hair entered the room, radiating light shyness; "Permission..." She timidly whispered then, as apology in case she had actually disturbed more important matters. Who was that woman? Her name was Yukino Aguria, Celestial Spirit Mage of the Sabertooth guild.
"Oh, hey! Yukino!" Sting cheerfully greeted the female with a light wave and wide smile, providing an ample vision of his characteristic sharp canine teeth; Rogue remained quiet. "What is it?" Asked the blond male then, curious about why the female requiered his pressence.
"I-I just checked mail, and there's a card for you..." Responded the female then, approaching both of his guildmates, still radiating her apparently-insecure personaly. The light-blue haired female took an envelope out of her pocket, carefully handling it to Sabertooth's current master; Sting; "Here it is..." She added then, in a low tone of voice,
"Hey, you shouldn't have bothered!" Responded the male, taking then the apparent devlivery, giving a chuckle to later dedicate the female another smile; "But still thanks, anyway! Now that you brought it, I'll read it." He clarified, thanking the timid woman once again with a firm nod as he oppened the envelope to read the letter; Rogue and Yukino approached him to inform themsives as well."
"Dear Sir Sting Eucliffe,
Due to the past misfortune that ocurred over the past months, – more concretely the incident that took place through the course of the Grand Magic Games event – we would like to offer you and four other members of the Sabertooth guild a trip onboard the new SS. Fiore for five days in compensation. The SS. Fiore luxurious cruise equiped with the most recent equipment and amenities, which include free buffet, access to any part of the construction and a new brand technology which prevents any Dragon Slayer Magic user to suffer from any effect onboard.
Only a very selected group mainly composed by other Grand Magic Games participants is invited, and we would be extremely pleased if we could count with your attendance as well.
Sincerely, The Royal House of Fiore.
*Tickets are featured inside this same envelope."
Jaw dropped, Sting was speechless; "WAAAH!" He shortly shouted then, in state of pure euphoria; "The king invited us! Rogue! Yukino! The king himself invited us! And Natsu might be there, too! We definitely must go!" He happily yelled at both of his comrades; Rogue remained unweathered, as Yukino flashed out a faint smile at her gild master's reaction; "Going to make my bags right now! You two should too!" Exclaimed then Sting, giving a quick wave to both, running then out of the training habitation he was in, leaving Shadow and Celestial Spirit mages behind.
"I just keep wondering why he is the guild master..." Sighed then Rogue after witnessing the blond haired Slayer's euphoric reaction, while Yukino released a faint giggle at the event that had just taken place.
