~Maka's pov~

We headed towards the training grounds, like normally, but my mind was still only thinking about him. He's never entered my room in those years his been gone. I was so lost in my own thought I didn't even hear Cole yelling at me, but of coarse I had to hear…

" Are you kidding me?! I did not just come here to see Maka and Cole do some special technic! I'm the Star here! Me, the one and only BlackStar!"

"Calm down, BlackStar, we are here to see if are able to break the bond while in that special technic."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah ! I can't wait to see Maka's face when the spotlight ends up on me instead of her during training. Hahahahahahahaha! "

"BlackSatr! That isn't very nice."

You guest it, BlackStar and Tsubaki . I'm honestly surprised that they are still partners after all this years. Even how much she still really cares for BlackStar. I mean she could do so much better,,…. but I guess love is blind… I should know.

"Hey, Tsubaki. How was your mission? Find anything interesting, other than BlackStars annoying rants can go on for hours, even out of states? "

"Hey! Tsubaki does not find me annoying! Right, Tsubaki?!"

"Of course not BlackStar. I always feel motivated when you talk all excited about something. Anyway, the mission went great, except….. we never found the item Professor Stein asked to find. "

"What do you mean? Lord Death himself made sure 'IT' was there before you left."

Lord Death had asked Tsubaki and BlackStar to retrieve an item that could help control an untamable weapon. After the many attack on the DMWA by weapons, Lord Death took drastic measures. The only problem was, to get the item; you had to use your soul wavelength to open the seal. That why BlackStar went, and Tsubaki was there to back him up.

"What happened? "

"I don't know. BlackStar went in and I stayed behind to make sure we weren't followed. But as soon as he entered…"

"And then, What?! What!?" I was getting frusated, and it was getting me no where. When she finally decdied to speak, I was shocked by her answer.

"He came out and was quiet, and pale, like he had seen a ghost. I asked him if he had gotten the item, but all he kept repeating was, 'he took it, its gone,' We came home strait after that when he said we had to come back to war-" BlackStar interrupted.

"Tsubaki! We need to head to class." And he had a cold glare in his eyes.
I was about to follow them to class to find out what Tsubaki was going to say, when Cole, pulled me aside.

"Maka, is everything okay? You were ignoring me the whole time i was talking to you on the way to class. And then BlackStar told me to stay away from you. Is there something you're not telling me?"

"What? No, no, no, no. I was just lost in my own thoughts, that all. " That weird, first the mission, and now this. Something isn't right.

"Are you sure? You know you can tell me anything. I am your weapon and partner. "

I smiled my perfect fake smile and said, "Yeah, yeah, I know. I was just wondering when we were going on another mission. We haven't been on one in ages."

He seem to buy into what I said and smiled. "Soon, don't worry. We just have to complete this technic and we are set."

"Do we have to learn this one now? Can it wait?"

He turns and looked at me start in the eye. "No." After that he dragged me to class. What's his problem?

~~~~~~~~ Before Steins Class~~~~~~~~~~

Cole and the other went ahead to do some warm ups, know Stein, it was probably the best idea.

" Liz, i'll be right back."

"Sure, bu hurry up, you know how Mr. You-can't-handel-all-this, gets when your gone for to long." Okay, i have to admit, thats true, but why, im not sure. He was always like that, so it never bothered me that much.

Speaking of which, i wonder went box #2 is going to show up. But if i had known the saying ' Ask and you shall reseve' was true, i never would have said that.

I went to the restroom. I also needed some space to think about what Tsubaki said.

But the moment I step inside the door locked and the lights went out.

"What the hell? Seriously, a blackout. now!" I tried turning back to open the door, but it would not open. I started to freak out a bit.

"Can anybody hear me! I locked in. Plea-" just then the lights turned on. And what I saw frightened me.

"No…. How..."
