"I see you finally came Hime-san, I was told that you were meant to come yesterday were you not?" Dark looked back at her his arms placed in his light grey kimono.
Zelda stood before him dressed in a light blue kimono with a flower pattern across it. "I was and I apologize for that Dark-sama, I just had some business to attend to."
"Try to not let that happen again, shall we start today's lesson then?"
Dark, Zelda, and even the knight Link stood in the gardens to the back of the estate. It was early in the morning so a light fog covered the area as the sun slowly rose into the sky. The three of them stood there for a while in silence.
"Must he be here?" Dark decided to break the silence pointing to Link who stood off to the distance.
"I thought we discussed this already, I am to be here when Hime-sama has her lessons."
"He usually is Dark…sama. Leave him be." Zelda replied dropping her hands to her sides.
The ravenet shrugged. "If you say so, then let's begin. I've noticed you're quite skeptical about the whole magic thing."
She nodded looking back at him.
"And so I do not blame you for thinking such a thing, from what I've seen your kingdom is of old tradition. Which I'm not saying is bad, but does make you quite ignorant to what is going on around you. Living in the past will only lead to this kingdom's down fall, how I would know this? Just by my many years of traveling and information I pick up along the way."
"You're a scholar then?"
"I wouldn't call myself that, I have received proper education, but not of a higher extent. More like common sense if you ask me. Anyway, back to the topic at hand, most people do not carry the capability of learning magic or having the qualities to wield it. Only a few selected individuals can learn to control and master it."
Lifting up his hand, Dark closed his eyes, in the palm of his hand a small light appeared. It grew bigger and bigger until the light blinded the knight and princess for a split second before it died down. When their vision returned they stared in both awe and shock at what was in Dark's hand. It was a trinket not known to them but it was quite pretty.
"This is called a snow globe; I've come across it during my trips to the West."
"You…just made that appear…out of thin air." Zelda looked at it more not believing that it was there.
"I made it appear with magic, it could do a lot more than just make objects appear. It can be used to attack, learning spells and chants to cast something very powerful. Not only that, but it can be used to protect and detect. Magic has several usages, which can do both good and harm. Let that just sink in; in the mean time let's try an exercise to help develop your magic more."
The brunette tore her gaze away from the object and looked back at him. "How do you even know I can use magic?"
"Just a feeling, won't know unless we try right?"
"So we're just going off a whim of yours?"
"Pretty much yeah."
The princess sighed pinching the bridge of her nose. "Can we…get breakfast first before we continue?"
Dark tapped his arm in thought. "I suppose, wouldn't want you passing out on me during the lesson Hime-san. So alright."
Zelda turned about to leave.
"Ah, but before you go," Dark took her arm turning her back just a bit for him to put the snow globe into her hand. "A little souvenir for you."
"You want me to keep this?" she held up the trinket.
"Why not? I think you would find more use for it than I ever would have. Consider it a gift if you like."
She slowly nodded. "Alright…come in when you can." Once more she turned around and walked off.
Link stared back at Dark before following his Hime-sama close behind her.
The ravenet watched them both leave, his arms crossed over his chest. "What an interesting pair these two are. Though I can't say I'm quite fond of that knight, not only is he so clinging he looks too identical to I am. Quite weird if you ask me, but I can't get the princess alone with him always here…" he tapped his chin humming a bit. "Though I do look forward to what else they will bring."

Zelda stared back down at the snow globe, she twisted and turn it in her hand. Inside the globe was a small castle with a field around it. The brunette shook the globe seeing white little flakes spin and float around in it.
Once more, the Hime twisted the small trinket in her hand, it puzzled her greatly, and she had never seen anything of the sort. 'I don't understand what this thing is really...why would Dark-sama give me this?' She sighed putting the thing down.
"Hime-sama your breakfast is ready." Ilia answered as she came up to the brunette bowing her head to her.
"I'll be there Ilia thank you." Zelda replied waving her hand for her to leave.
She did closing the door behind her.
A soft sigh escaped the Hime's lips; sitting on her bed she smacked her cheeks with her hands. "Get a grip Zelda; it's just a little...whatever he called it." She stood back up heading to her door, before she could open it, the door opened on its own.
"Oh there you are...Zelda."
"Link!" Zelda hugged her best friend dearly.
He patted her head. "Zelda you should stop before someone sees."
"Can't I hug my friend?"
"Don't want people to get the wrong idea."
"Oh alright." The brunette let him go. "Thank you for calling me Zelda."
Link fixed his tunic from her hug. "Only when we're alone, or I could get fired, or worse from showing such disrespect to the Hime." He mockingly dragged out the end.
Zelda giggled from his little remark causing a smile to come on his lips. She then huffed pushing some of her hair behind her ear. "Do we have to go back to those lessons after breakfast? I would prefer to go out riding or something else really. Just anything, but that."
"You're not the bit of curious about this magic Zelda? It could provide useful for when you take the throne."
Looking out at the front garden through her window, the Hime placed her arms in her kimono sleeves, watching the trees and flowers bend with the wind. "It would...but can it really be real? Not just some trick?"
"You saw what Dark did; it looked pretty real to me."
Zelda giggled again, this time covering her mouth with her sleeve. "Already on no horrifies with him?"
"I don't like him; he doesn't deserve a title..."
"Always the worry wart Link. Come, breakfast will get cold soon."
"As you wish, Hime-sama." Link bowed to her following quietly behind her.

The sun slowly made its decent from the sky as the magic teacher walked through the estate of the man he was employed to. He stared up at the sky before looking back down at the notes he took from the day's lesson.
"She needs a lot more help than I realized..."
'After breakfast was over, the three of them returned to the front garden to resume their lesson from earlier that morning.
"Now Hime-san we must-wait stop!"
Zelda looked back at him holding the small treat in front of her mouth. "What?"
"You can't eat that yet! Weren't you just listening to what I said two minutes ago?!" Dark took the food item from her hand.
"Would yes be an appropriate answer?"
Link chuckled from off to the side; he leaned up against a tree his arms crossed.
The ravenet almost glared at the knight still keeping his gaze on her. "No, pay attention next time Hime-san. Now as I was saying you must first think of what you desire before you eat it. I developed this for beginners such as yourself; it's to help slowly bring out the magic that is stored inside of you. Think of something small and then eat it."
Taking the treat back, Zelda thought for a while until something popped into her head. She ate the treat and waited. In a moment a small turtle origami appeared in her hand. The brunette was quite shocked that actually worked, did she really posses magic of her own? 'If so then…why is this magic coming out just now?' she thought to herself still staring at the origami in her hand.
"Good, taking some of these a few days will help develop your magic as well as help it grow stronger for larger items. Now do it again but with something just a bit bigger."
Zelda nodded taking another, thinking again she plopped it into her mouth.
"You made sure you're not bringing a living animal right?"
"Wait what-ahhhh!"
"Hime-sama!"
"Damn it!"'
A sigh escaped Dark's lips as he shook his head. 'She's bad with common knowledge isn't she? Though she is really good with politics and some military strategies, not much as Link though on that last part...' He grabbed his chin looking up.
"Something about him...is weird...not only do we look alike, but...I have this weird feeling...What that feeling is I honestly don't know." He stopped walking. "But one thing for sure is, Link and I-"
"Really?! Oh it has been so long!"
Dark got quiet as he came up to the wall carefully glancing over; he saw Zelda and Link along with some maids talking.
"Both of them are coming? Saria and Nabooru?"
"Yes your highness, they will be coming by late tomorrow evening if not sooner."
Zelda smiled clasping her hands together. "Wonderful, you both may leave now."
They bowed before walking off.
"Isn't this great Link? I haven't seen them in so long! They probably made an excuse to come, but still a great one at that if they can come all the way over here."
The blonde walked up to her. "It would be nice to see a childhood friend again."
"Right you were a knight for Saria's kingdom before coming here correct? At a young age too."
"I don't mind Zelda, I never regretted coming here, I'm glad I did actually." He smiled sweetly to her his arms behind his back.
"I'm glad you did too, or I would probably be dead from all the stunts I pulled as a kid."
"Well I don't know about that, in any case it is getting late Hime-sama, time for bed. You need to be well rested for when the other two Hime-sans arrive."
She nodded. "Of course, a good night to us both."
"Likewise...night Zelda." He bowed before walking off.
Dark looked up at the night sky arms crossed with his notes. 'This is quite perfect actually, I was going to head to them next, but them being her friends make my part easier.'
He watched as a few crows flew through the night sky cawing for some unknown reason. A smirk came onto his lips. "Well well, these two continue to entertain me...what will they surprise me with next?"
