X-Men: New Blood: Origins. Ace.
After a successful mission in India, the couple Remy LeBeau (Gambit), and Anna Marie-LeBeau (Rouge), retired to their room in the Xavier Mansion. This unknowingly important night will affect the future of Mutant kind and Mankind.
"ACE ! KARRA ! TAKE THIS TEST SERIOUSLY !" Hollered a scruffy, well built man with a rather odd hair style, this man was James (Logan) Howlett -better known as Wolverine.
"Calm down, Wolfy," said the man named Ace, he was hugging the new member of the X-Men in-training and old friend, Karra Howlett, very closely. Karra rolled her eyes and ignored Ace's actions, she was used to him being on her in such a manner. They had known each other since they were young.
"Calm me Wolfy one more time, and I'll break your fingers ! And get your hands off my daughter !" Wolverine commanded out as he slammed his fist into the controls, firing stun darts at the young mutants. The dart came at them from the left and the right. Explosive, but not truly deadly. Though they would do damage if they hit the mutants.
Karra pulled away and dodged the darts, but Ace simply used his verbatim staff modeled after his father's to knock away the darts. Ace then leaped towards Karra and whispered, "Lets show this old man how the new bloods handle things, eh, sugar?"
"Love to, Cajun !" Karra then kissed his cheek and laughed, then stabbed the Danger Room floor panel with her adamantium claws, "And keep those hands on my back this time Ace!" She then shot him a glare. She loved Ace and all, but something were just not cool on her account.
"One butt grab, and she ain't never gunna let Ace live it down !" A man of his word, Ace put his hand on Karra's back, sending out a kinetic pulse, destroying not only the drones, but the control panel and nearly the Danger Room. She had clawed her way thought all the metals that were in her way, her claws her unbreakable after all. A drone fell, and a panel fell off the wall, hitting the floor with a loud bang.
"That's three Danger Rooms in a veek, faster that Colossus and Kitty did," said the German blue elf, Kurt Wagner, also known as Nightcrawler, "Karra has improved, her ability to hold together vith that much kinetic energy resonating vithin her is astounding !" He could not help and feel proud of his girlfriend. "Even that Lebeau," he said with a slight hiss, "is improving, but still…"
"Shut up, elf, I don't care about your jealousy." He pressed a red button and the simulation can to an and. "Call Warren, tell him we need another one," commanded Wolverine as he left the room.
"Vere are you going , Logan?" Kurt asked, his head tilted to one side with a slightly confused look upon his face.
"To get them X-Men Belts, they did past the test" Logan said with a smirk.
