I am the MockingJay, standing strong
Telling the Capitol their plans are extremely wrong
I team up with friends and people I don't even know
But as long as I'm here, I'll surely go
The hospital bombed full of wounded
I blow the ships up from my burning rage
President Snow watching day after day
I stand up after tons of pain
I stand proud and confident and feel no shame
Even though my home is destroyed and my life is behind
I can't help but get stronger and face all the doom
Now that Prim, my love, is dead
I try to bury the sad thoughts in my head
I'm glad I kissed Gale, for he is my best friend
But now that he works in District 2, I'll probably never see him again
Years later, I find myself in peace.
Sitting with Peeta as my children play and eat
My life has been hard, sad yet fun
I'm glad now it's over and I'm just relaxing in the sun
