Chapter 2

"Master..." She mumbled.

"Sorry I didn't get here sooner," Dabi said.

"Sorry, you had to come to get me. I wasn't expecting-" "I volunteered to come get you." Kanna was quiet. She blushed as she rested her head on Dabi's shoulder.

"Love you." she unconsciously said as she drifted off to sleep. Dabi smirked to himself.

Chapter 3

3rd P.O.V

Two days later...

It was a Saturday and Kanna was at school. She was called to the school by Uraraka. Apparently, all the girls had rented the pool for the day. Kanna walked inside and was greeted by Uraraka.

"Hey Kanna!" she smiled.

"Hey." Kanna hugged her.

"C'mon the locker room's this way," Tsu said. Kanna followed the girls. Kanna had become closer to the girls in her class.

"So, we're going...swimming?" she asked.

"Yup!" The girls made it to the locker rooms.

"We're all outside! See ya!" Uraraka and Tsu went outside, leaving Kanna in the room by herself. She took off her bandages. Her scars were healing but were still visible. She took a sharp breath through her teeth as she ran her fingers over them to see if they still stung.

"Damn it..." she said. She put on the new swimsuit that she bought. It was a black two-piece with shorts and a top that went halfway down her stomach. She took her bandages off and came up with a plan. If anyone asked she would say her cat attacked her while trying to give it a bath. Her cat named James that gave her the fox features and tortured her for as long as she could remember...Kanna shook the thoughts out before walking outside. She looked around the pool for the others.

"Hey! We're over here!" Yaoyorozu called, waving. She ran over then dove into the water. Her white and purple hair pooled around her. Her tail wagged slowly in the water.

"Great! Everyone's here!" Uraraka said.

"You guys know we've got exams coming up soon, right?" Tsu asked.

"Yeah, I wonder if it's gonna be a paper test or like a fake rescue mission or something!" Hagakure said jumping into the pool.

"I kind of would like to do something more hands-on than a test," Kanna said. The girls swam around a bit till Ashido stopped them.

"I have an idea of what to talk about..." Ashido said.

"Boys!" she giggled. Kanna stopped swimming and grew slightly red.

"Uraraka!" Ashido pointed to the brunette who turned pink and sunk underwater slightly. The alien queen began her onslaught.

"You seem pretty acquainted with Midoriya." Yaoyorozu winked.

"I-I have no idea w-what you're talking about," Uraraka said.

"Sure..." Ashido giggled.

"I saw a certain someone hanging out with Todoroki a few days ago," Yaoyorozu said. Kanna turned scarlet. Uraraka took notice of that.

"Ah-ha! It was Kanna!" she laughed.

"T-Traitor!" Kanna stuck out her tongue.

"I saw you guys were talking. What about?" Yaoyorozu asked.

"He wanted to know more about me," Kanna said. A few seconds later she understood what she just said.

"Did he now?" Jirou asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Christ..." Kanna somehow turned even redder.

"He helped her rewrap her bandages!" Uraraka yelled, not helping Kanna's case. She giggled.

"Water," she said as she suddenly turned into water, mixing with the water in the pool.

"Why is it so hot?" Tsu asked.

"The water is the same temperature as my body is," Kanna said.

"I didn't think the human body could get this warm..." Ashido said.

"Your fault!" Kanna said, popping her human head out of the water.

"So, is water your quirk?" Uraraka asked. Kanna returned to normal

"No actually, my quirk is called Elemental. I can use the leftover particles from other non-physical quirks or use my own elements to attack," Kanna explained.

"What's the deal with the ears and tail then?" Jirou asked.

"That's a bit of a personal story...Sorry," Kanna said.

"Enough with the sob stories! Let's get some swimming in while we can!" Yaoyorozu said. The girls agreed and began to swim for the remainder of the day.

Later That Day...

"Well guys, I'll be on my way! See you on Monday!" Kanna waved as she left the school. She had just stepped out of school when her phone rang. She looked at it and saw a picture of Himiko holding up a peace sign. Kanna answered.

"Hello?" she said

"Kanna! Where are you?!" Himiko yelled through the phone. Kanna panicked when she looked at the time.

"I just went to the school for a little party! I lost track of time!" she said.

"You never told me! I've been worried sick!" Himiko sounded panicky.

"Look. I'll be home soon. I'm sorry." Kanna said sincerely. She heard Himiko sigh. Suddenly, Himiko was talking to someone else who was with her.

"Hey," someone said. The phone had exchanged users. It went from Himiko to Dabi.

"M-Master! Sorry I didn't tell anyone I was going to school! I-" "I'm just glad your safe, Kanna," Dabi said. Kanna turned scarlet red. She realized she was still standing outside the school and began to walk home.

"You worried about me?" Kanna asked. She heard silence for a second.

"Maybe..." Dabi said, heaving a heavy sigh. Kanna giggled

"Don't. I can handle myself, Master," she said.

"I've saved your ass twice," Dabi deadpanned. Kanna laughed nervously.

"I'll be home soon. Do you me to go the pick-up spot or straight back?" she asked.

"Go to the pick-up spot. Someone still could be following you," Dabi said.

"Ok! See you soon, Master. I l-" Kanna bit her tongue but Dabi laughed as if he knew what she was about to say.

"See you soon, Kanna." he hung up. Kanna's face was cherry red and she felt a little loopy. Before she took off she stared at the school.

"What is this place doing to me?"

Kanna finally made it to the Washi bar once again. Ever since two days ago, she never saw the man that was going to do who-knows-what to her. So, she felt safer. She sat on the curb and waited for someone to pick her up. As soon as she did she noticed that Dabi always picked her up. Himiko apparently offered to once but her words fell upon deaf ears as Dabi just walked out. She started to wonder if her Master loved her as much as she secretly hoped he did. She felt stupid for thinking he would like her but always thought of it as a possibility. The villain in question snapped Kanna out of her thoughts. Dabi plopped onto the curb, right next to her.

"You seemed to be in deep thought. Wasn't sure if I should've said something or just picked you up and dragged you back home," Dabi said.

"Oh! Hey Master," Kanna said.

"You ok?" Dabi asked.

"Yeah, I just was thinking about something..." Kanna's mind wandered once more. Her face got hot and she shook her head.

"Let's get you home," Dabi said. He grabbed Kanna's hands, making her grow flustered, and pulled her up. He then grabbed her waist and flopped her over his shoulder.

"H-Hey!" Kanna protested, punching his back.

"I don't wanna keep saving your ass!" Dabi said as he ran back home. Kanna hit his back again and he laughed harder.

"I swear, Master..." she sighed, finally giving up. They were right outside the hideouts doors when Dabi stopped running. He put Kanna back on her feet. She grabbed his hand. He looked at her.

"I used to do this with my dad when I was younger," she said. She then smiled.

"I don't get you," Dabi said leaning down to her height level.

"Oh yeah? I don't understand you either, Master," she said boldly getting closer to his face. They now were touching noses. Kanna realized this and stared directly into his eyes. Dabi did the same. They stared at each other for about 5 seconds before Himiko busted through the front door to the hideout.

"I'll go get th-" she stopped and stared at them. A big grin slowly grew across her face.

"M-Miss Himiko! I-It's not what you think!" Kanna moved away from Dabi.

"You two were gonna kiss!" Himiko said running up to them.

"No, we weren't!" Kanna shouted. Dabi smiled proudly at the flustered chibi he made.

"Weren't we?" he added. Kanna got redder.

"NO!" She yelled.

"I was joking," Dabi laughed. Kanna crossed her arms and looked away from him as Himiko pouted.

"But you two are cute together!" She whined.

"Stop!" Kanna said. She turned to Dabi who put a hand on her head.

"Let's get inside. It's cold out here," Dabi said. Kanna sighed.

"I swear..."
