Good Day Readers! This is the third and probably third last prologue? I have two more planned and it will actually be on the year that it's supposed to be set in. Right now this is just two victors saying goodbye to their tributes. Which actually coincides with my other story. (This is the sequel to the story after all.)

So right now the current stance of this SYOT is still an indefinite start because I refuse to make bloodbath characters. It's no fun to write about them and I get very disheartened about it all. I am in need of more tributes because some don't have submissions to them at all! (Will name them at the bottom.)

Anyway back to this fic. Enjoy and sorry if it's not as good as the others or just as bad as the others.

Ninetieth Hunger Games – Morning of the Bloodbath

Hunger Games, Launch Station

Viola Aspen, 26, Victor: 76th Hunger Games

I join Dino, Leif's stylist, inside the launch station for the start of the Games. Nathaniel had been against it but I managed it but now with Peacekeepers hanging around outside. I look at Leif, his nervous expression is clear as he panics about with the buttons of his white shirt. It's unconventional for an arena wear. Black trousers and running shoes; white shirt accompanied by a white and brown striped coloured tie.

It looks like a school uniform of some sort from some private school. I wonder why they did it. Are there not going to be any dangers to weather in the arena? Might be a temperate arena? My arena was not a temperate one, that was for sure; it contained a bunch of different biomes. I didn't know if I had to take my jacket off or keep it on because one moment I would be walking in a cold biome and walk into a humid rainforest.

I try not to remember anymore, my victory of the games is not something to be celebrated. Still I did enjoy sticking it to the man. There's no other part of me left in Seven; family and friends have long since died. So doing little things that annoy the President is worthwhile but I know when to stop. I have to know when to stop.

I don't want to endanger my tributes. Speaking of, I hope Scarlet manages to talk Eva down a couple of notches. She is still incredibly annoyed at the whole Hunger Games. I see the way she looks at Leif and that's when I worry.

I see Leif putting on the running shoes and then standing up to look at me and Dino. He gives us this confident smile and I can't help but return a smile of my own. I've been holding on to his token all this time, a locket that contains a picture of his mother. Her radiant smile mirrors her son's as she stares off to the left side looking at something beautiful, perhaps the forest scene our district is so famous for.

I walk up to him as he finishes putting on the blazer that has also been provided. This will assure that he stays warm but it's made of polyester so that it's easy to move around in. I place the locket around his neck.

"There, so she's always with you." I say.

"Thank you."

"Remember, grab a weapon and then flee. If you can't find one just grab the closest pack you can find and avoid the Careers."

The dark blond boy nods at the advice I give before stepping up on the platform. There's only two minutes now until the Games begin and I still have to get back to the Capitol. No doubt that I will miss the bloodbath but I just hope that Leif, and maybe Eva too, can stay alive.

"Just survive and I'll support you any way I can."

"Good Luck!" Dino says beside me as I see the glass tube come down on the boy. He looks at us fondly before mouthing another 'Thank You' at the both of us. I wave him off before going back and being escorted by the Peacekeepers to a hovercraft.

Cabel Link, 26, Victor: 77th Hunger Games

"Okay, Okay, Okay. Stay Calm. Just stay calm."

"I am calm." Proxxi says to me as I pace back and forth in the small. "You need to calm down."

I look at my tribute in the eye and see her struggling with the green and white striped tie. I stop my pacing now and move closer to her to help her with it. If there's one thing I learned from being a victor is that tie events are really popular every time you get invited to the Capitol. I tie it around her seamlessly.

I then straighten her white shirt and help with her blazer as Annette, her stylist, readies her shoes. Black and suitable for running. And considering that the clothes don't look that warm or cold then the arena will be a temperate place to be.

"I have deduced that it will be a temperate location but that doesn't mean that the Gamemakers will plan on something to heat up the arena."

The red haired girl nods her head. Annette helps put her hair in a ponytail, the red hair that always run so wildly now tamed. As it dangles behind her back. She looks professional. Like a scientist, an inventor.

I know that I've been distant to them and Quanta has been a bit more hands on. The truth is that I want to distant myself to them because like most other mentors I want to live on with my life without feeling guilty.

After seeing Proxxi and Asus though, something changed. These two remind me of what Three is all about. Smart and cunning. I am sure that these two would make it far in the arena, dare I say even win.

'Five Minutes.'

Okay the panic is coming back. I look around quickly for her token. The small gear that I manage to find and giving it to her during the chariots. Fiddle around in my pockets and finally able to produce the little necklace that I made for her.

I put it around her neck and gives her a little hug, awkward but I mean well now. I can no longer hold the fact that I don't want to distance myself from them anymore. I want to be there for my tributes and not drag them down with my pessimism.

"Look at you." Annette says as she straightens her blazer. "You look amazing."

"Thank you but I don't think that will matter to be honest."

"It may not be but to me you've always been amazing." She says.

I like her, she's calm and collected unlike her partner which is bound to be panicking right now just like me and no doubt Quanta is trying to calm him down.

"I am going worry about you." Annette continues.

"There's no need to worry about me." Proxxi says. "I'll be fine, trust me."

The little girl walks up to the launch pad and stands there waiting for the untimely event to start. She holds onto her token as the two minute mark is reached. The platform she is standing on starts to ascend, she looks at the both of us with a look of worry before disappearing into a confident stare.

I'll miss the beginning of the Games but I have faith in the both of them. I am sure that Quanta does too. Not many other mentors have asked Nathaniel for entrance in the station. Just the Three, Ten and Seven mentors.

They must care quite a lot for their tributes and as I'm escorted out I look back to the empty pod. There's only a minute left now and that is it. I keep my fingers crossed as I move out from the small room.

That's all I can do for my tributes. The sponsors may roll in for them but they are still at the whim of the Gamemakers and the arena. Nothing, not even the things I send in the arena will help them from the trauma they will suffer in there. So from here on out all I have to do is keep my fingers crossed.

And hope they win.

As I've said there will be at least two more prologues, maybe one and those ones will be during the actual 91st one. I just want to showcase my sort of writing style here. I'm not confident writing in first person, I don't know why it's harder to be descriptive for some reason.

So to continue on, I need more tributes. Preferably:

Males: D2, D8, D9, D11 maybe D6

Females: D3, D6, D7 and maybe D4 and D12

So submit if you have the time and I won't hesitate to reply!

(I am desperate now lol)

Thank you! ~Alec
