Chapter 3:- A Chance to go Back to the Digital World!

The Headquarters:

As DATS was closed down, the building which used to act as the headquarters of DATS was now used for the CITY PATROL or CP. Yoshi, Miki and Megumi all worked in CP, while Samson was the commander (and still held the title Commander Samson). After the battle with King Drasil, Director Hashima was replaced with Directer Samalot. Director Samalot was the one who found CP. He said that it was a shame to close down DATS and asked Samson if he would like to be the head of a new organisation. Samson had agreed and soon recruited Yoshi, Miki and Megumi.

"Yoshi"

Yoshi started as the commander suddenly called out her then composed herself and replied back in a soldier-type way."Yes Sir!"

"Thomas contacted me and asked me to send you to his house, pronto."

"Umm..."Yoshi was slow to respond, unsure of herself.'Why the Heck would Thomas call for me?' She thought to herself. She made her mind."Yes Sir I will go there at once."

Thomas's House:

They Butler looked down at the puzzled teenager with a smile."Miss Yoshi! Please come in, Master Thomas has been waiting for you."

"Figured that part already." Yoshi mumbled. She was quiet angry with Thomas. She had been discussing about going to a movie that Saturday night. She was almost sure that he would give her something or someone to research on. Then that would certainly mean that she would have to cancel her plan. She couldn't even refuse, or the Commander would bite her head off. She almost sighed. Men were such a pain.

The butler was a little taken aback by Yoshi's attitude. Nevertheless, he didn't drop his smile."Let me lead you to his room."

Yoshi knocked on the door and opened it, without waiting for the answer. After all, Thomas was the one who called for her. He should be ready."Umm...Thomas?"

Thomas was busy typing on the computer in his room. He swiveled his chair around to look at Yoshi. "Yoshi, good morning! Come here and look at this." He minimised the window he was typing on and opened another one. It was unlike any other window Yoshi had ever seen. The background was blue and there were small groups of squares here and there. They kind of reminded Yoshi of the way the sky looked like in the digital world. And in the middle of the window, there was a black rectangle. A video?

Yoshi walked up to the computer with a quizzical expression on her face."What is it Thomas?"

Thomas didn't border looking up, or giving Yoshi a seat, this was going to be quick."Just this morning I got a video mail-" he suddenly stopped.

"Soooo" Yoshi urged him on."What did it say?"

Thomas shook his head."We have to wait for Keenan. He has to see this too." Yoshi sighed."Well, I don't want to wait. Why don't you show me the video and then you can show it to Keenan afterwards. I don't really have time."

Just then Keenan walked into the room, with an angry expression drawn over his face."Hey, Thomas! You better have a good explanation for making me miss my school. Me and my friends where having a party today."

"Keenan come over here fast, just this morning-"

"Thomas got a video mail!" Yoshi completed the sentence for him. She realized only then what could possibly be happening. The team had never met up in years. Sure they saw each other once in a while, but, after their battle with King Drasil was over, they just...Didn't get together anymore. So why now? Unless...

Keenan sighed and looked at Thomas with pursed lips."So thats why I missed my-"

"The v-mail was from a Datamon!"Thomas cut him off, not wanting to get into an argument.

"A what?!" Yoshi and Keenan cried out in unison.

"But how?" Keenan calmed down and asked."How can a digimon send an e-mail from another dimension. And on top of all, wasn't the boundary between our two worlds strengthened once again. How could this happen?"

Thomas turned back to the screen."Come and take a look for yourself."

The message began with a little static error. Then slowly an image formed. The video was taken in a room which looked like a store room filled with cartons and other metal junk. A typical place for a Datamon. And in the middle of the room was a Datamon.

"Blue General *static error* I am passing this message with great difficulty *static error* I have to inform you that the Digital World is in calamity yet again. *static error* We need your help again. *static error*. Just be informed that the barrier between the worlds has begin to weaken. You can open the gate agai...*static error*"

When the message ended there were big smiles on the faces of Yoshi and Keenan. Yoshi then burst out.

"I knew it! Oh my! I can see my Lolamon again! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyy! This is the Best!" She cried out. Keenan was too happy for words and only nodded in agreement.

Thomas sighed in satisfaction, not turning away from the computer screen."I propose that we go back to the Digital World the first thing in the morning. So I suggest we say goodbye to our families today."

"Yes! And I also want to buy something for Lola-"Yoshi started but then a thought crossed her mind, makig her stop abruptly and dropped the smile off her face."Wait...how can we go back to the Digital World? I mean, we don't have the Digital Portal with us anymore." Keenan nodded, coming to the realization aswell."Yoshi is right even Dad demolished the Digital Portal in our house." He pointed out.

"I do have one in my garage." Thomas said and smirked.

"You have a what?!" The other two shouted in unison.

"Yes, I have a Digital Portal. Built one a year ago just in case. I just have to plug it in."Thomas explained, got up and faced them.

"Great, Thomas you are the best!" Yoshi said and the smile returned to her face.

Thomas looked at Keenan."If you don't mind, can you and inform Marcus's family as well?"

"Sure! They will be glad to hear the news." Keenan replied.

Crier's House:

"Keenan! You can't expect us to go let you go their again!" Keenan's mother Michelle exclaimed. His father just simply nodded his head in agreement.

"But Mum, why?! You know I always waited for this chance." Keenan cried out. Then his father stepped in."Yes son, but what if something bad happens to you."

"Dad! I am not a small boy anymore I got straight 'A's in I think I can handle myself."Keenan replied indignantly. There was mo way that he was going to miss this chance.

His father opened his mouth and then hesitated. Finally he agreed with a sigh."Alright son, you can go."

"Really?!" A smile slowly started to appear on the teenager's face.

Michelle gave in as well and nodded. She knew that there was no way Keenan could be brought out of this mad idea."But please promise us that you would come back all safe and sound."

"I promise, Mum."

CP Headquarters:

"What are you serious?!" Megumi cried out with her hands clasped to the sides of her face.

"Sure am!" Yoshi answered and flashed out a smile.

"Then I am also coming with you!" Miki dem.

"No you are NOT! None of you are!"

The three of them turned around to face a glaring Commander Samson.

"B-but Commander..."
