Chapter Three:

Darcy's PoV.

I don't know what it was but I just couldn't stop thinking about that tall, dark and strange man. I had so much fun that first night I met him. He's such a strange character. He's there and then just barely a moment later he's gone. I couldn't figure him out, well I don't think anyone can; but still.

It was a week after Thor showed up and Jane was happier than she'd been in months. With Thor back she had more pep in her step and it was great to have the big guy around. Loki hadn't showed up since last week, when Thor had come back. It made me curious. I mean he said he was going to Asgard but he could be anywhere right now. Bad thought. That means he could be in here right now… I have to stop; I'm freaking myself out. The thought that an almost stranger could be watching me is rather disturbing.

My stomach growled, Ugh. I thought. "I need food. Food is good, food is great."

As I opened the door, I was greeted by the exact same person that had been haunting my thoughts. I shrieked, and then silently scolded myself. Super attractive Darcy! Pull yourself together here! I forced a smile, "Sorry. You kind of scared the crap out of me…"

He stood there silent, creepily staring at me with these amazing green eyes. He caught me staring or otherwise read my mind, "Sorry am I being of distraction to you?"

Can men be beautiful? Cause this man is. I looked down embarrassed, "NO. Not a distraction at all!" I lied.

He raised an eyebrow suspiciously. Shit, he's the god of lies that was stupid. Way to go Darcy. "Um, can I help you?" was all I could get out.

He tilted his head to the side looking puzzled, "Would you happen to know where I might find my brother?"

"Probably in the kitchen or still in bed. Sorry I really don't know..."

He cracked a small smile, "Thank you Lady Darcy."

I laughed, "Darcy's fine. Lady isn't exactly me. But if you like it, it's fine by me…"

He smirked. "Alright then Darcy." He paused, "Would you care to accompany me to the kitchen?"

I smiled. "Why not!"

He outstretched his arm, linking mine in his and we walked down the hallway to the kitchen.

Jane's PoV:

I was just about to get out of bed when a hand grabbed me and pulled me back. I smiled. "Good morning to you too." I laughed.

I could feel Thor smile as his lips brushed my neck. "Why do you not stay here for just a minute more? No one needs us at this hour."

He got me. I sighed, "Alright." I turned and snuggled close to him. "A couple more minutes couldn't hurt."

We laid there in silence; with my head against his chest I could hear his heartbeat. A slow, steady, peaceful and calming sound all at once. Kissing my forehead Thor smiled at me, the scrunched his eyebrows together. God he is adorable. "Jane?"

He paused. "What's wrong babe?" I sat up and ran my hand through his hair, which had gotten longer since I last saw him, but I didn't mind at all. I loved it that way. "Is everything okay?"

He sat up with me and took my hand, "Jane? How would you like to return to Asgard with me? I know you would most definitely like the gardens, and Mother has been requesting to meet you for some time now."

I sighed, Asgard, I thought. "Asgard. Meet your family? I thought your father didn't approve of me?"

He grunted and smirked, "My Father will have to learn to like you Jane. You are the one and only woman I love, whether the Allfather likes it or not."

Smiling I answered him. "When do you plan on going?"

He grinned ear to ear. "Whenever you are ready. We could leave now if you wanted."

My eyes widened, "I don't think now would be the best time, besides, I'm not even dressed yet! And neither are you…"

He quirked an eyebrow. "A problem which is solved easily."

"How about breakfast first. Then maybe this afternoon we could leave?"

"That sounds most wonderful, I am growing rather hungry."

I laughed. "It sounds like a plan! And I do believe there are pop-tarts in the kitchen."

"Excellent!"

I laughed and threw the covers aside. Tony teased him so much but the only Midgardian food he loved more than coffee was pop tarts. And he really didn't need either. Especially not the coffee. I got up and Thor and I rifled through the closet hoping for some clothes that would help us to look at least half decent.

A couple minutes later…

When we got to the kitchen, there was a very strange sight to behold. Loki, Darcy, Bruce and Tony were all sitting at the table drinking coffee and talking about their craziest experiences. Loki saw Thor and gave him a half smile, wow he gives smiles out now what has the world come to? Thor, to no-one's surprise grabbed a packet of pop-tarts from out of the cabinet and sat down at the table next to Loki.

Darcy stood up and walked over. "Hey you." Was simply all she said.

I knitted my eyebrows. "Hey you? That's all I get anymore is Hey You? Really Darc?"

She smiled and gave me a hug, and a cup of coffee. "Here for whatever troubles you have. I can even add some alcohol if you want."

I rolled my eyes, "No. Not yet anyways." She laughed. "Thank you though. I'll save the alcohol for later."

"Oh. What's goin' on later? You're not getting busy with the jolly green giant are you?"

"DARCY!"

"Just asking. Y'all are loud."

I gaped at her. "Really?! You have to do this right now?"

"Jane, it was a simple question. You are just over-reacting."

"I'm, overreacting? Me? Sure whatever."

She rolled her eyes. "So. What's the later for?"

I sighed. What am I going to do with her. "I'm visiting Asgard."

Her eyes widened. "Oh… Meeting the parents. Have fun with that. And by the way I'm sure Tony has enough goods to get you through it so don't stress."

I stared at her.

"What?!"

Rolling my eyes I just laughed. "You need to stop hanging around Tony, your turning into him."

"HEY! My ego ain't that big thank you very much."

"What'd you say about me?" Tony called from the table.

Darcy and I exchanged glances, and giggled. "NOTHING!" We shouted.
