Author's note: Okay, so this next chapter came really quickly. After I posted chapter 2, I was struck with sudden inspiration and was able to get this next segment quickly written out. I realize after writing this latest chapter that people might get the impression of there being slash. Let me disabuse anyone of that notion before they read this. There is no slash at all in this story. Enjoy :).

After a mometary lapse of silence and shock, Ami moved to help Rei bring Usagi in. A few passersby stopped asking in concern over the poor unconcious girl to which Ami smiled lightly stating it was a common occerance to some fallible ailment that befelled in Usagi's family. "Some water and a quick nap and she will be right as rain."

The girls struggled momentarily to get Usagi into Rei's room and into her bed. After getting a cool, wet towel and draping it on Usagi'e forhead did Amy sit down next to her. Rei draped a blanket over Usagi before mirroring Ami. The girls both looked over to her before to each other. Ami with a worried frown, and Rei with a thoughtful one.

Luna walked over and sat between them and looked up at Usagi, worry evident in her voice, "What just happened?"

Ami shook her head, Rei looked between her and Luna, a thoughtful frown still in place, "I'm not entirely sure but..."

Luna and Ami both looked at her, "Hai Rei-chan?" Ami asked softly.

Rei closed her eyes for second then opened them again. Her frown turning troubled, "You see lately...I've been having these strange dreams..."

Luna's tail twitched and she moved closer to Rei, her eyes alight with curiousity, "Dreams? What kind of dreams?"

Rei fidgeted a bit and looked down, "My dreams..." she chewed her lower lip then glanced over at Usagi.

Ami noticed Rei's look over at Usagi, and she looked over to her as well, "...Does it have to do with Usagi-chan?"

Rei nodded then looked back to Ami, "Lately I've been having these dreams. For the past months since news on Sailor V started coming out, I've been having these strange feelings and dreams. Like I've been waiting for something."

Luna nodded slowly, "Like you were waiting for the scouts?"

Rei nodded her head but kept a serious expression, "At the time I wasn't so sure. And when Sailor Moon appeared, they became more urgent." She stopped for a second, the other two waited patiently for her to get her bearings. She took a breath, "When Jedaite infiltrated my family's shrine, and we started having those missing persons my dreams and feelings were plunged into darkness and confusion."

"Would that have been because of the Negaverse though?" Ami asked.

Rei shook her head, "When I found out about you all and Jedaite and the Negaverse, I thought so too at first, but now..." She shrugged her shoulders helplessly, "now I don't know. They stayed that way." Rei fisted a hand and slammed it on the floor in frustration, "I've looked to my fire for any answers, but it's unsure."

Luna moved and rubbed up against the black-haired girl consolingly, "Why haven't you mentioned this before in our other meetings?" she asked a little chidingly.

She shook her head, "I wasn't sure what to do. I've had feelings before but nothing on this scale. It's all new, I'm wondering if it had anything to do with my awakening as a senshi." She looked to Luna who settled down in a sitting position.

Luna closed her eyes for a second before giving a solemn nod, "It is possible that that may have happened." She opened her eyes, "it could be that awakening to your powers may have boosted any natural talents or interest." Luna glanced over to Ami, "What do you think Ami-chan? Have you noticed anything new or increased about yourself?"

Ami looked at both of them thoughtfully before answering, "You know...I've been able to mentally process and understand subjects and ideas more effectively than I have prior to becoming a senshi."

Luna and Rei sweatdropped, "You mean...you had problems studying?" Rei asked astonished.

Ami shrugged her shoulders, "Of coarse I did."

Luna couldn't help but drop her jaw, "But whenever you and Usagi studied you made it look so effortless!"

Ami smiled at Luna and chuckled, "But of coarse Luna that was after I awakened to my senshi power."

"B-but," the black feline stuttered, "Usagi mentioned that you had top marks before."

Ami kept smiling sweetly, "Thats because I want to do well, and I enjoy my classes and subjects. There were times I had difficulty understanding the work myself and spent hours on end to finish it and sometimes I needed help you know."

Rei and Luna both sighed, ' If only Usagi had that discipline,' Luna thought before looking over at Usagi's still prone form.

"You know," Ami kept on, thoughtful look on her face, "I thought I was understanding it better now. " She laughed a light laugh before her look turned serious again as she too looked back to Usagi.

Rei kept on, "I was planning on telling you when we had our meeting today but...this happened." She gestured over to Usagi.

Luna nodded, "Was there anything else?"

Rei nodded, "Yes. In my dreams, there have been flashes." She shuddered as the images came to mind. Ami leaned over to pat her shoulder reassuringly, Rei smiled back in appreciation, "Arigato."

Ami smiled and nodded her head, "Anytime Rei-chan."

Rei took a shuddering breath, "I see flashes and I have feelings. Sometimes in these flashes it's like I'm running or fighting for my life. Others it's like I'm watching someone else. They sometimes look blurred, and the sounds are muffled, but I'm sure I've seen Usagi in these glimpses."

They jumped slightly as they heard a rustle and mumbling sound, "M-m-mina..."

"Usagi!"

Author's note: and there you have it. I realize that some people might poke at the senshi awakening to their abilities and the lack of mention to their ultra-awesome healing and increase of strength abilities not to mention what Usagi's ability is. In due time I will try to incorporate the mention of those abilities in a later chapter. As with the increase of their abilities Rei is psychic, she got a boost. Ami is interested in learning so that one day she can be a doctor, she got a boost. Also I put in here hinting that Ami is not right off the bat smart, but she has a yearning for learning and because of that she is where she is because she wanted to learn. ... X.x wow, psycoanalyzing is tricky to put into words... As for Usagi's ability, you'll just have to wait and find out :) i Hope y'all enjoyed until next time!
