Tohru
My eyes were closed, and my breath was finally back to normal except for those few shaky deep breaths. My body was totally sore, especially my head and arms, but most of the pain had numbed away.
I didn't know how long I was in this cage, but I could tell tonight was the night that I die as I could barely see the full moon from up the high window. There were so many things I regretted, like not telling Yuki, Kyo, Shigure, and the others who I really was. What I hated more in the world was lying to my best friends and my family I had grown to love when they took me in.
Tears gathered into my eyes. I won't lie, I'm scared. Scared than I ever have felt in my whole life, but at least I'll die knowing that everyone will be safe and the scroll was long hidden where no one will find it... Well I hope no one will find it.
Right when the sleep overcome her, she was awakened by the metal doors slamming into an open. quickly, Tohru sat up and glared at her captor with a small frown. Seeing her captor walk over to her, Tohru's eyes shone in fear as she tried to scoot back, but her captor caught her by the scuff of her torn shirt and dragged her out of the cell.
Ceasing her struggle, Tohru closed her eyes and went limp, a small smile on her face. If she was going to die, then she might as well die with a smile on her face.
Kyo
I couldn't stop biting the bottom of my lip as I kept pacing back and forth. Yuki, Shigure, and Hatori were here also anxious. We were just waiting for the Yankee and Hana.
After a few days of searching for the scroll, we were about to give up until Hana had an idea. She wouldn't tell us, but she said to meet us where the kidnappers will be waiting along with Tohru. I didn't know what they were planning, but I hope it was going to work. I wanted Tohru to be back with us safe and sound.
Soon we all tensed up from the noise and we all looked up, our fist clenched and our stance ready to fight as a figure walked out of the bushes. It was a man wearing some kind of weird clothing. He looked a ninja. Soon two more strange men walked behind them, in between them was Tohru!
"Tohru!" I yelled, attempting to get her back but froze when I saw one if the men slip a knife out and pressed it against her neck. I winced as I saw how close that blade was. "Don't move or she's going to get it. Give us the scroll now."
I wanted to say something bad, yell at them and kick their asses for what they've done, but Hana told us to be patient. If we made the wrong move... Tohru will die. I tried to distract myself by looking at Tohru, but that seemed like the worst idea ever as my anger grew.
Tohru was bleeding. Not in one places, but all over her body. She had a bruised cheek, many bruises and cuts covered most of her visible skin, she was limping as I could see she was struggling to stand, her clothes were torn, ripped and bloody, and her face was scrunched up in pain. Yet, she had a small smile on her face confusing me. Why was she smiling?
"What did you do to Miss Honda?" Yuki hissed, his eyes flashing in anger. The calm looking face he had was breaking fast. "What did you do to her?!"
"Oh, just some things." The first man said, shrugging his shoulders carelessly. "She wouldn't tell us where the scroll was so we just taught her a lesson not to make us wait."
This was getting out of hand, and I couldn't last one more second looking at Tohru like that. Lunging forward, I had my fist all the way back ready for the powerful punch I could muster up. I stopped in my tracks though when I felt a hand rest on my shoulder, it was soft yet it was gripping me hard telling me to calm down. Glaring at the person behind me, I stopped when I saw the Yankee's hard face as she looked towards the men, in her hands was a tattered looking scroll.
"You want the scroll, take it!" The Yankee barked, throwing the scroll as she tried to aim for the face, but the man caught it and smirked down greedily at the scroll in his hands. "Now give Tohru back! You got what you want!"
"Mm... How about no?" Our eyes widened, but the Yankee started to snarl, her eyes flashing with murder. "Maybe we should keep the girl for ourselves. She'll make a cute slave, no?"
"As hell if we let you take Tohru with you!" I roared, not thinking of the consequences. Lunging forward again, I smirked cruelly when my fist connected towards the man's face and a disgusting crack could be heard echoing through the fores.t The punch was also strong enough to send him back tumbling back until he crashed into a tree. Shocked and worried, his two lackeys ran over to their boss and dropped Tohru, which Hatori and the Yankee quickly ran over to.
I panted hard, and despite the fact I wanted to walk over to the bastards and beat them up I had to see if Tohru was alright.
"Is she going to be okay?" Yuki asked softly, looking down at Tohru with soft and guilty eyes. no doubt he was blaming himself for allowing this to happen. "What's going to happen to her?"
Hatori grimaced and as gently as he could he carried Tohru in his arms. "She's freezing cold and she's loosing blood fast, we'll have to get her to the house quickly."
"Hey Sohmas." The Yankee called, looking away from us and looked towards at the thugs still trying to wake up their boss. "You go back, I'll deal with them for what they've done."
I wanted to argue, but seeing how the Yankee wasn't going to accept any help on beating these men up, I nodded and we all ran towards the car as fast as we could, Hatori in the way back as he was trying his hardest to be gentle with Tohru.
It was then I realized something;
Where was Hana?
