Hahaahah let it be known that i am stupid, there was a chapter 3 all along! It was at the bottom of the page in my notebook *facepalm*

But this is still a part of chapter 2, like my Addy story, i split this chapter up into chunks, makes it easier for me to transfer.

Chapter 3: Some secrets are meant to be just that.

We went back inside, "Did you two make nice?" Tyler asked,

"Yeah, you guys want to play a game?" I asked,

"Okay." Mackenzie said. I found a deck of cards and we started playing go fish, "Do you have any fours?" Mackenzie asked me,

"No." I lied, she couldn't tell, I had my poker face on, "Go fish." She pulled a card from the pile, "Mackenzie, do you have any fours?"

"What?! That's cheating!" She threw her cards down, "Cheater!"

"What? I am not cheating, that is... That is my least favorite thing to do."

"You are a dirty little liar."

"I am not."

"Well..." Tyler said,

"Whose side are you on?" I asked,

"Love you." He smiled a sexy toothy grin.

After Tyler and Mackenzie quit playing card games because I was "cheating" we decided to watch movies, "I love this movie." Mackenzie said, we were watching Despicable Me,

"Yeah, it's one of my favorites." I said, stuffing my face with popcorn. As the night drew later the movies got scarier then during the last movie, everyone was out.

I woke up face down in the couch, drooling, and a little confused at first. When I sat up, Tyler was half on the couch and half on the floor, and Mackenzie curled up in a ball next to my feet. Carefully I got up and shuffled my way to the elevator and went down to the floor where my parents were staying.

The doors opened and I stepped out into the hallway, stopping in front of the door of my parents apartment. I knocked gently on the door, there was the sound of light footsteps, then the door unlocked and my mom opened the door, "Tori, is something wrong?" She asked,

"No no, I just wanted to talk to you." I said, stepping inside,

"What's up?" She asked, closing the door,

"The sky obviously."

"Ha ha ha (Sarcasm), what's on your mind?"

"It's about... Mackenzie." I whispered her name. My mom looked around nervously, "Does dad know?" I asked,

"No." She sighed, "He doesn't, but I wanted to tell him, but then I thought of you, and how if we ever escaped you wouldn't have a father and-"

"Mom, calm down, just promise me you'll tell him, he's gonna find out sooner or later."

"I promise, and let me tell him."

"Alright... So why did you decide to do... It, with Maven?" I asked, sitting on the edge of the chair,

"Well, it wasn't my choice, he kind of... Forced me to do it."

"But you didn't refuse."

"No, back then I would do anything to get some."

"So how did you hide that from dad?"

"Maven separated us for a while, until Mackenzie was born, he just didn't pay attention to her, your dad just thought Maven created her himself."

"Did Maven even want a child at first?"

"No, but I remember when I found out I was really scared, then I told Maven and at first he was mad, but then he got really excited to have a child of his own." She wrapped her arm around me, "I don't care if shes Mavens child, I still love her as much as I love you." She kissed the top of my head,

"I love you too mom." I said, getting up, "Promise me you'll tell dad."

"I promise Tori, I told you already that I will."

"Okay, I'm going upstairs."

"Okay." I walked out and back to the elevator.
