So here's a new chapter, yay! Rejoice! Seriously, rejoice. The next chapter will probably take like a month or so to finish, no promises. School and stuff makes me busy. Enjoy.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

With a groan, Keima woke up from his slumber. With the annoying beeping still ringing, Keima sat up a little to switch off the alarm. Looking at his alarm clock- 9:30 am- it pointed.

Grumble.

Ah, right. Elsi, in a way, could be considered a great cook. She can make great dishes with simply ingredients that could be found anywhere… in hell, which led to being edible only for demons and alike. For Keima, even if he is a god but considered a human, naturally couldn't handle the food. The Capturing God had starved all night, only having a bowl of plain rice to satisfy his hunger.

Normally, that would be the least of his problems. After all, a god knows no hunger (or so he says), able to last 3 days without food while playing his games non-stop. Claiming to have eaten in his games, Keima can endure hunger more that he should.

But having no games to serve as a distraction for his hunger, Keima had to take his breakfast and eat Elsi's demon cooking. Sighing for who-knows-how-many times, Keima reluctantly got out of bed and went down to the kitchen, preparing for the worst.

Nothing. No Elsi. No weird-looking food. Surprisingly, two slices of bread with butter are placed on a plate, along with a cup of tea.

'Did Elsi went out?' Looking around the house, not a single soul. Keima shrugged, 'She probably went out to buy something, I guess.'

Just as Keima was about to bite onto the bread, a familiar voice made itself known.

"Now, now. No thanks for the person who made the breakfast for you?" Strangely, her voice did not sound as sadistic as last night.

"Good morning, Lune. Thanks for the breakfast, I assume you wanted to ask me something?" The Capturing God said as he finally ate the buttered bread.

"Hmm? You're smarter that I thought you would be" Keima scoffed at her statement, she ignored it and continued, "And yes, this is something that should concern your lifestyle here." This peaked Keima's interest as he slightly narrowed his eyes.

Sensing the highschool boy listening more closely now, "As you know, I am a district chief. I have meetings and other sorts of boring stuff I have to do, so that also means that I mostly won't have enough time to do other human activities."

"This concerns me because…?"

Lune merely smirked as she continued, "Oh you know exactly why. I won't have time for human jobs, also meaning no cash for US to spend. I do have a little amount of funds given by chief, but that's only enough to sustain myself."

Being given a large hint, Keima replied, "Don't worry, our mother sends money over monthly and that's enough for the both of us. As for the last resort, I'll even use my online earnings, if that's the case."

"How much does your mother send you? 8,000 yen? 10,000? 20,000?" (1)

"Around 30,000. Mind you." Keima gave her an answered while sipping on his coffee.

"That's not going to be enough to cover the costs of managing the house. Water and Electricity doesn't come in free, you know?" Letting her information sink, then continued, "Get a part-time job, Katsuragi. I have a meeting between district chiefs in a few minutes, I won't be back till late afternoon." With that, Lune flew out of the window.

Keima sat there, somehow a PFP appearing in his hands, contemplating at the turn of events. Him? Getting a job? Hilarious. But what Lune said had some truth in it…

'Managing the house, buying necessities, buying my games. They all needed money, no doubt. My earnings can only sustain for so long.' Thought the teenage boy as he walked out of the kitchen.

Interrupting his thoughts, a certain demon came back home with a bag full of groceries.

"I'm home! Eh~ Kami-sama, you woke up already? Uu~ and I was thinking about making you breakfast…" Elsi said with a cute pout.

"Mm, how much did you spend on the groceries?"

"Around 10,000 yen, why?" Elsi confusingly asked.

'Tsk, guess I really have to take up a job.' Keima thought as he grimaced a little. "Elsi, I'm going out to buy some games."

"Ahh! Kami-sama~ can I come too?"

"Fine, whatever. Just don't be annoying."

"That'll be 15,000 yen." The shopkeeper said as Keima handed him the cash, holding a bag of games.

"Kami-sama~ why did you buy so many games? I thought you brought some with you?" Elsi exclaimed with a pout, eyeing the bag of games.

"Nonsense! Do you think that 30 games can satisfy me, the God of Conquest, for a week?" Keima angrily replied her as they went out of the game shop.

"Nii-sama, BAKA!"

"Why you little-" Something caught Keima's eye, stopping him from delivering his lectures to Elsi. Strangely, it was a sign placed outside a café.

Noticing her Kami-sama's attention on the sign, she curiously looked at the sign.

' 'We're hiring'? Why would Kami-sama take notice of this? Is it a Weiss? But my sensor hadn't gone off. But- ' Elsi scratched her head confusingly. Unbeknownst to her, Keima walked into the café leaving her thinking to herself.

"What do you mean you want to work here!?" Miharu Shimizu exclaimed loudly, causing the teenage boy in front of her to cringe at the volume of her voice.

"Well, you did put up the sign in front of your café." The boy said in a matter-of-fact tone.

This agitated the girl somehow. "W-well, you don't look like you have any talents!" Miharu pointed at the boy.

"Judging a book by it's own cover is never a good thing. Then again, I guess I should apply that to myself as well, as my first impression of you are annoying, loud, and uncooperative." The stranger replied with a small smirk, internally knowing that this verbal fight is his win.

Miharu gritting her teeth in anger, managed to let out a rather calm sentence to the stranger in front of her. "F-fine, what's your name then? Mine's Miharu Shimizu."

"Keima Katsuragi, so do you want to 'test' my abilities, Miharu-san?" Keima said politely.

"What can you do then huh?"

"I've notice that this a more like a dessert shop rather than a café." Keima said while looking around the shop. It was decorated quite simple, with a few pictures of their desserts hanging on the walls and a few houseplants around the café itself. It had a homey feeling here, if Keima were to point out.

"Well, we do serve-" She was suddenly cut-off by another voice. Keima instantly recognized the voice and his expression instantly became annoyed.

"Kami-nii-sama, why didn't you wait for me? You left me outside alone, baka!" The newcomer said to Keima.

Visibly annoyed, Keima turned to the newcomer. "I was already here for 5 minutes, do you expect me to wait for that long until you've finished daydreaming?"

The newcomer became embarrassed after hearing that, but managed to retaliate her brother. "Y-you could've just informed me!"

"But that-"

"Am I invisible here?" Miharu finally spoke up, after witnessing the comedic siblings duel it out.

"Nii-sama, who's this?" The girl asked Keima.

Instead of Keima answering her, he just pointed at Miharu, which Miharu sent back a glare in his direction. He just waved it off.

Back to topic, "My name is Miharu Shimizu, the daughter of the owner of this place, La Veditz. And you are?"

The girl seemed to notice that Miharu is talking to her and replied, "I am Elsi Katsuragi, nice to meet you!"

The now revealed Elsi couldn't even prepare for the orange-haired girl's next words.

"Ah, so you're name is Elsi. You're kinda cute, are you single?" Miharu asked the sister of Keima, sporting a small blush.

A 'Huh?' was Elsi's intelligent response. Heck, even Keima was shocked at this new information.

"Like I said, are you single? Would you like to work here too?" Miharu asked too expectantly.

Recovering from his initial shock, Keima whispered to Elsi, "Say yes, Elsi." She gave a look that said 'Why?' Obviously confused at Keima's suggested answer. Choosing not to explain, Keima turned to Miharu with a straight face and gave a straight answer.

"She said she would love to work here, along with me."

Miharu and Elsi both had different reactions. Miharu's was to squeal and told them to come in tomorrow. The latter, however, was shocked at her buddy for making a decision like that and proceeded to glare at him during the journey home.

Keima, like every school day, walked out of his house, PFP in hand. Walking to school has always been the same, he had his time to game on his way there and that's all that matters. It was an ideal routine for him. Plus, Elsi wasn't with him too, that's a bonus in his book. But there's always the real messing with him…

"Go away already! I can walk to school by myself just fine! Why can't Kaa-san understand that!?" The voice came from a girl with short hair and a yellow headband holding it up as she yelled to the limo driver.

"B-but Hiromi-sama, Kuruchi-sama told us to send you to school." The limo driver replied rather weakly.

Just as Keima was about to dismiss it as a nuisance, the device that Lune gave him the other night started to buzz, signaling a loose soul has been detected nearby.

Keima sighed inwardly, on his first day of school too. Without checking the device, Keima already knew who the host was. Looking towards the scene again, he found out that the girl had stormed off into the direction of the school, leaving the driver standing beside the road.

'And to think I had time to do what I want.' Keima thought as he began walking once again to his new school. 'But the real had underestimated me once more. For I, the Capturing God, am always up for anything that the real throws at me'
