Author's Note: Short chapter I know but I wanted to post something for this story after the very long wait, so here it is and you get to find out if the Doctor figures out who she is ;) Enjoy!

Tabitha's POV…

Sarah Jane and I returned to the school once it was nighttime. We decided to sneak in through the window so we wouldn't get caught just in case someone was still at the school. It was better to be safe than sorry. Sarah decided to go first to check to see if anyone was in the classroom and she undid the latch of a window, belonging to a classroom down below. As she did this, I was in lost in thought. I still couldn't believe my Theta was alive and breathing. I knew it wasn't my imagination. Looking in those brown eyes, I just knew. He had obviously regenerated multiple times since I last saw him. But his eyes were still the same…well except for the fact that they were much, much older than when I last saw him.

I wondered how long it's been for him. Must have been a long time because he didn't know who I was. He just looked right through me and that hurt…so, so much. Remembering that look of confusion on his face as he stared at me, I could feel my eyes start to tear up but I blinked them back quickly. Now wasn't the time to get emotional. There was more important things to do.

"Tabs." Sarah Jane called my nickname and I looked up at her to see she was inside of the classroom. "It's safe."

Nodding, I climbed into the classroom and locked the window shut before turning to Sarah. "Now what?"

"Okay, I'll go check in the classrooms," she answered. "And you go to the Headmaster's office. There might be something there."

"Got it." I hugged my friend for a moment and pulled back to look in her eyes, "Be careful, Sarah."

Sarah nodded. "I will," she said. "You be careful too."

Hugging her again, I walked out of the classroom and headed to the Headmaster's office. Once there, I tried to open the door by turning the doorknob, but when that didn't work, I took one of the bobby pins in my hair out and used it to pick at the lock. I wasn't able to get it unlocked. It was only because I heard a bang and a loud screech, making me jump and spin around, so fast that I almost got whiplash. What the hell was that?

I just decided to just ignore it when it sounded again, but this time it was louder and much closer.

My first reaction to stay and take on this creature, whatever it was. My second was to leave and try to get away because I didn't know what this creature was. In the end, I decided on the latter.

Taking a deep breath, I backed away down the corridor and into a room, slamming the door behind me.

Then I heard this happy and excited hum in my head.

A hum of a TARDIS.

Whirling around, my eyes widened at the sight of a small blue box. Then tears started to fill my eyes, recognizing her instantly. It was Theta's TARDIS.

"Sexy…" I breathed. I slowly went up to her, not noticing that someone was watching me in the shadows, and I placed a hand on her with a teary smile on my face. "Oh, girl, I've missed you…"

'I've missed you too.'

More tears filled my eyes at the sound of her familiar voice in my head. "It's been so long…" I whispered.

'Yes, it has.'

"I'm so happy you recognized me…" At least one person did.

'Why wouldn't I? You're my Thief's wife.'

I gave a sad laugh. "Well…Theta didn't recognize me…but I recognized him. Those big, sad eyes gave it away…"

Sexy didn't respond as I heard someone clear their throat and it made me jump. I turned around only to see Theta standing there, staring at him with narrowed eyes. I opened my mouth to speak. However before I could, he cut me off.

"Who are you?" he demanded. "And how do you know my name?"

"I…" I tried to find the words to say, but I couldn't find them. He stepped closer to me.

"Who. Are. You? And. How. Do. You. Know. My. Name?" He repeated himself, stressing out the words.

I didn't say anything for a moment. "You really don't know who I am, do you?" I asked quietly and sadly, even though I knew the answer.

His face seemed to soften at the sadness in my voice. "No, I don't…should I?"

I laughed bitterly. "Of course you should, I'm your wife."

At those words, his mouth dropped. "What?"

"I'm your wife."

"What?"

"I'm your wife…" I repeated again.

"What?!"

This regeneration apparently loved the word, 'what.' "I'm your wife, Theta," I told him softly, repeating myself again. "It's me. The Author."

His mouth closed and then he shook his head in disbelief. "You can't be. She's dead."

"I am." I stressed out, "I am the Author. You told me to leave…" I went up to him and stared into his brown eyes as I continued speaking in a soft tone, "To take a TARDIS and leave Gallifrey…and that's exactly what I did…I survived…and I've been on Earth ever since…"

He stared at me, his eyes glistening with tears. I knew that he believed me now. I smiled softly as I lifted a hand to cup his cheek. He leaned into my touch as he always had and placed his own hand on top of mine.

"Kida…" he whispered and I closed my eyes at the sound. It had been such a long time since someone called me by my real name. "I can't believe it's you…"

I opened my eyes and peered into his. "It is…it is me…" He didn't say anything as he started to lean in.

My hearts skipped a beat.

He was going to kiss me. I licked my lips as his face got even closer. After what seemed like forever, his lips brushed against mine. I let out a soft gasp at the feel of his lips. They felt just like I remembered. So soft and molded against mine perfectly.

'Kida…'

This made me kiss him harder and tears filled my eyes. The sound of his voice in my head was like music to my ears. His arms wrapped around my waist and pulled my body closer against his. In turn, I looped my arms round his neck, smiling into the kiss. It was then that I felt his tongue trace my bottom lip for entrance into my mouth and I was about to happily give it to him when I heard Sarah Jane call my name.

"Tabitha…oh!" The 'oh!' was obviously exclaimed because she had ran into the room and saw me locked in a kiss.

Reluntantly, I broke the kiss with my husband, hearing a quiet groan in my head as I did this. I stood by his side and he quickly wrapped arm around my waist, pulling me close, obviously not wanting to let go of me for even a second. I didn't mind as I snuggled into his side.

Nothing was said for a couple minutes as Sarah Jane glanced at the TARDIS then back again at Theta, looking just like I did when I saw him in the staff room. Unable to believe that it was actually him. Theta was the one who broke the silence.

"Hello Sarah Jane…" he greeted his old companion softly.

School Reunion, Part 3...

Again, sorry for the short chapter but at least I updated. And I hope your happy about the fact that the Doctor figured it out. Or well...Tabby told him about who she was but still lol. But don't expect it to be all sunshine and roses because we still have the Rose issue to deal with and the other issues too. Oh and next part should be longer and hopefully end the episode if not, this episode will have five parts instead. Anyway, please leave reviews and tell me what you thought!

P.S. The Gallifreynian name I gave to Tabby is from a character of the same name from that Disney movie, Alantis: The Lost Empire. I thought it sounded like a Gallifreynian name.
