AN: Hello, and welcome to the third chapter of the story.
For this chapter, it's going to be based around James Ironwood, and if you haven't guessed it, this AU is gonna be based off of the Terminator! I'm pretty sure that I have seen people do a Terminator-AU story, I'm not sure.
Anyways, after I got the fourth chapter done, I have no idea what to do at this point.
Because I have two options:
1) I create ANOTHER new story, the self-insert/OC idea.
2) I do a complete cycle of my stories, and then create a new story.
I am most likely going with the second option.
Also the Terminator-series belongs to James Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd.
HERE WE GO!
Abandoned Theater -
Once again, a bright flash of light had filled the room, making everyone present close their eyes from how bright it was. After a few moments, the light had died out, and standing in front of the nine teenagers and two adults were three more people.
The first was a middle-aged man, dressed in a white military uniform. He had black hair, that was turning gray in some areas, and blue eyes. The most eye-catching characteristic about this person was the strip of metal that was above his right eyebrow. Both Ozpin and Glynda knew the person immediately, in which they said,
"James?"
"Oz? Glynda? Where are we? What's going - "
"We'll try explaining the whole situation the best we can."
The second person was a young-woman, who shared similar characteristics with Weiss. She had white hair, though instead of an off-balanced ponytail, it was in a bun with a couple of bangs on the right side of her face. She shared the same light-blue eyes as Weiss, but she didn't have a scar on her eye as Weiss. She was also dressed in a blue, white, and gray attire, which appeared to be also a bit militaristic. Weiss' eyes widened in shock seeing who this person was, making her shout,
"Winter!"
"Weiss? Are you okay? If I find a single scratch on you, I'm gonna make the person who kidnapped us pay!"
"Winter, I'm fine..."
The last person was a girl with a freckled-complexion, that was about the same age as the other teenagers. She had short, curly, ginger hair that had a small ahoge on top of her head, and bright green eyes. She was wearing a whitish-gray old-fashioned blouse with short gray feminine overalls, as well as a black and green collar with a matching pair of stockings. The only person to recognize her was Ruby, who ran towards her, hug the girl, and shout,
"PENNY!"
"Ruby!"
As soon as everyone had stopped greeting another, the newcomers were filled in about where they were, why they were here, and how Alternate Universes was an actual thing. Ironwood looked at his colleagues in disbelief, before voicing his thoughts,
"Wait, let me get this straight: some random person, who's the reason why we're here - "
"That's right."
" - brought us to some theater...just to watch alternate versions of ourselves?"
"Yep. I know it sounds weird, but...so far this person hasn't made a move that is remotely hostile towards us."
Reluctantly, both Winter and Ironwood took their seats, which were besides Weiss and Ozpin and Glynda respectively. Penny took the seat that was next to Ruby, and they all prepared themselves for who they were going to now see on the big-screen.
Motorcycle Bar -
It was the middle of the night, and the patrons inside the bar were simply minding their business, until someone came in.
As soon as the doors leading inside the bar was opened, everyone stopped what they were doing and looked to see who was now inside the building. Some of the people inside were either disgusted or disturbed by what they were seeing. Others simply laughed, and then there were the rest, who simply whistled in admiration of the sight that was in front of them. Granted, the last group were women.
You see...James Ironwood just walked into the bar, his face was just emotionless to the looks he was receiving. But, the reason why he was getting so much attention, WASN'T the fact that someone like him walked into the bar.
It was because he was naked.
When the screen showed a naked James Ironwood, the entire room had shouted in shock.
Winter's face had lit up like a Christmas tree, and immediately covered her sister's eyes, who was squealing in disgust as the General of Atlas had flashed her. Yang also covered Ruby's eyes, but she couldn't help but smile a bit, approving of what she was seeing.
Blake had to look away from the screen, as did Jaune, Ren, and Pyrrha. Pyrrha also covered her face with her hands, obviously unprepared for what she had seen.
Oscar had shouted in disgust, and opted to look away from the screen until the camera decided to record above the waist.
Ironwood himself had chose to look away from the screen, but just to avoid the disgusted looks he was receiving from both Ozpin and Glynda. Though, Glynda seemed to have blushed darkly, the platinum-blonde doing her best to remind herself that this was an alternate-James.
The only two who didn't seem to be fazed by the General flashing them was Penny and Nora.
Ironwood looked at the hooded-figure, and shouted,
"W-what is the meaning of this!?"
"Trust me. I did NOT want to look at your...'thing' as well. But, let's just ignore that, and continue with the viewing."
"Please."
Ironwood, who still didn't seem to care about that he was naked, walked towards the pool-table, where he started to look at the bikers that were near the table. No one knew what to do at this point, until Ironwood walks up to one of the bikers.
This biker, roughly the same size as Ironwood, was dressed in biker-leather, with a long blonde hair and facial hair.
Then, he spoke, his voice also void of emotion,
"I need your clothes, your boots, and your motorcycle."
The biker, as did everyone else around him, laughed at how ridiculous his claims were. They honestly thought that there was something wrong with him. That was when the biker walked up to him, grabbed the cigar he had in his mouth, and blew smoke into Ironwood's face. He told him,
"You forgot to say please."
Winter silently fumed at the scene, obviously angry at the disrespect General Ironwood was receiving. Ironwood noticed how the scene was getting to the specialist, so he reassured her,
"Winter, it's alright."
"But, sir - !"
"I can handle myself."
"...Very well."
Taking it a step further, the biker took his cigar and stubbed it out on Ironwood's chest. Onlookers simply waited for the Ironwood to react to the burning sensation that was happening to him, but it never came.
Ironwood simply looked at the cigar, that was still being stubbed out on his chest, and his gaze returned to the biker, unamused by the biker's attempt to hurt him. The biker, honestly confused as to why Ironwood wasn't pain, pressed the cigar harder into his flesh, but that was when Ironwood honestly had enough of the biker's bullshit. Thus, he grabbed the man's wrist, an audible crack was heard, and forced the biker onto his knees.
The biker shouted in pain, clutching his right arm, yelling for his friends for help.
"GET HIM OFF ME!"
One of his friends was behind Ironwood, a pool-cue in his hands, and swung the makeshift weapon at the back of his head. But, as soon as the pool-cue made contact with Ironwood's skull, the thing snapped in half. Ironwood looked back at the man who tried to attack him, grabbed him by his shirt, and threw him out the window with inhuman strength.
The window shattered upon impact, and the man landed roughly onto the hood of a car.
Everyone in the theater was shocked for numerous reasons.
The first was as to how Ironwood didn't even flinch when the cigar touched his skin. Granted, Aura would've healed the burn, but he would've still made some sort of reaction when that happened. The other is how easily he threw that guy out of the window. True, Ironwood had used his right-arm, but -
Wait a minute...
His right-arm.
Noticing something, James looked back at the screen, and saw that his right arm wasn't cybernetic. It was actual flesh, just like the one he had before he lost it in his youth. Instinctively, he clutched his right-arm, feeling the metal that was attached to him. Glynda, Ozpin, Winter, and Penny also noticed that his right-arm was flesh, and wondered as to why they didn't realized it sooner.
Ironwood looked towards the hooded-figure, and asked him,
"Just...what version of myself am I looking at?"
"It's...complicated."
"What do you mean - "
"I'll explain what kind of Alternate Universe this is after the viewing is over."
"...Fine."
Still holding onto the biker in front of him, Ironwood grabbed him with both hands, and threw him across the bar. The biker landed in the kitchen, more specifically, the grill, which he started to scream as he was burning his hands.
As he tried to get off of the grill, he accidentally pressed his hands onto the hot metal multiple times, before finally rolling off of the thing, and landed on the floor.
A third biker, who pulled out a knife, ran up to Ironwood, and stabbed him in the chest. But, he didn't react to the blade penetrating him, and instead, twisted the man's arm, pulled the knife out of him, and stabbed it into the man's shoulder.
"PULL IT OUT! SOMEONE, PULL IT OUT! PLEASE!"
The man shouted in pain, unable to pull the knife that was in his shoulder, asking someone - anyone - to pull the thing out of him. But, after seeing what Ironwood was capable of, nearly everyone had left the bar in panic.
That was when Ironwood walked into the kitchen, and once again met the biker, whose hands were severely burnt. The biker's eyes widened in fear, and backed away from the imposing man. As Ironwood walked towards him, the biker pulled out a handgun out of his jacket, and tried to cock the thing, but wasn't able to do so with his hands severely burnt.
Ironwood then forcefully grabbed the handgun from the biker, and successfully cocked the weapon, and looked at the biker once more.
The biker simply threw the keys for his motorcycle towards him, and whimpered,
"Take it!"
While Ironwood had the man's motorcycle, he still wanted two things from the wounded man.
We all know where this is going...
Everyone winced as they saw how ruthless Ironwood was, but, they couldn't help but wonder -
"Just what IS he?"
Everyone looked at Jaune, who simply said,
"I mean, just what is going on? This Alternate Universe shows us: a naked Ironwood - no offense, sir - who doesn't seem to feel any pain. Speaking of feeling things, it feels like that he also doesn't feel any human emotion, like how he didn't seem to show any guilt in hurting all those people. This universe makes him look like a - "
"A machine."
That was when everyone now looked at Penny, who seemed to have realized what this version of Ironwood truly is. She explained,
"The injuries that Ironwood obtained would've been fatal were the most obvious clue. Not only that, but I also noticed that when he fought those men, he didn't seem to use Aura, that, and how he also didn't have any Aura to heal the wounds he received. But the biggest the flaw I noticed...was his eyes. They were just...empty."
The hooded-figure that decided to show the audience an enhanced look at the alternate-Ironwood's eyes.
As Penny said, his eyes were indeed dull, as it showed no sign of life.
Then, the hooded-figure said,
"Well...since Penny already told you guys what this Ironwood really is. I'll show you what he REALLY is."
He tapped a few keys on his laptop, and that was when the screen had changed, this time showing the audience something that was truly threatening to them. What they were now looking at is a machine, designed to look like the human skeleton. The thing had the same body-type as Ironwood, making them realized that this was what this alternate-Ironwood truly looked like. But what really intimidated them, was the glowing red eyes it had.
"That is a Terminator."
"Terminator? Talk about original..."
"The Terminator is...well...let's just say that these things have the capability of ending the Human-Race."
Everyone had let that bit of information sink into their brains, and immediately regretted it as they just imagined the damage these 'Terminators' are capable of. Even Penny, the first android to use Aura, was afraid of this thing, knowing that this thing was probably stronger than her. That was when the hooded-figure had realized how awkward he made things for everyone in the theater, so after getting rid of the Terminator image, he immediately did something that he didn't think was needed until he showed more viewings.
He actually stated,
"Memory Wipe!"
Nearly everyone in the room, except Penny, had a sudden headache for a few minutes, and then looked at the hooded-figure, wondering what had happened. Meanwhile, the hooded-figure looked to Penny, hoping that she would keep quiet about the Terminators from everyone, in which she simply nodded. She even went as far as deleting the memory of what the Terminator was.
"What...just happened?"
"I don't know...but let's just get back to the viewing."
After a few minutes, Ironwood had walked out of the bar, now dressed in the clothes he stole from the biker. The biker leather he now wore made him look even more threatening as it seemed to have outlined the muscular physic even more.
He walked towards the biker's motorcycle, which was of classic design and painted black, and got on it.
Ironwood only started the vehicle, until the bar-owner ran outside with a lever-action shotgun in his hands. He fired a slug into the air, cocked it, and aimed it at Ironwood, who simply looked at him uninterested, and told him,
"I can't let you take the man's wheels, son. Now get off, before I put you down."
After propping the kickstand, Ironwood got off of the bike, and walked towards the bar-owner.
"Now sit down, damn it!"
That was when Ironwood just snatched the shotgun from the owner's hands so easily, and he did it with just one hand.
The owner's eyes widened as to how screwed he was now, causing him to back away slowly. But, Ironwood had simply walked towards, and grabbed a pair of black sunglasses that was in his vest pocket. He placed the sunglasses on and just looked like a straight-up badass with the lever-action shotgun in his right hand. Seeing that the bar-owner was no longer a threat to him, Ironwood returned to the motorcycle, and holstered the shotgun he acquired.
He revved-up the engine and was now heading towards Vale.
As the viewing had ended, everyone had looked at the James Ironwood that was sitting with them, and then looked at the one that was on the screen, still riding the motorcycle.
"I never thought that I would see the day that a grown man would flash me..."
"Same...now I feel a bit inferior compared to him."
"Are we just gonna ignore the fact that he just grabbed a gun from that bar-owner? Because I'm pretty sure that this Ironwood doesn't give a shit about the law at this point."
Some had found it weird that the differences between the two were THAT bizarre. After all, it's not ever day you see the General of Atlas walk into a bar - NAKED, I might add - and then proceed to just kick the shit out of everyone inside, then drive off on a stolen motorcycle.
Then again, there was Glynda and Winter, who were looking at the General with blushes on their faces.
Winter was blushing out of embarrassment when she saw her superior flash not only herself, but also her little sister as well. Basically, she couldn't exactly look Ironwood the same way after THAT image was carved into her memory. Glynda, however, was blushing out of nostalgic reasons. Despite the fact that she was no longer in a romantic relationship with James, she could still remember just how physically fit the General was back in their youth.
Glynda coughed into her fist,
"I see that you're still top-shape..."
"T-thank you, Glynda..."
Ozpin, who was like the third-wheel from their relationship, simply deadpanned,
"This is probably the most weirdest date that I'm on with you two."
AN: And that was the third chapter of the story!
Anyways, since I found out about reaction stories, I had always planned on doing a Terminator-AU, with Ironwood as the Terminator himself. Though, I had a tough time choosing which of the Terminator events I wanted the RWBY characters to react to.
At first, I wanted to do the Police-Station shootout, or the motorcycle chase. But, I decided to go with the bar scene, mostly because I thought it would be funny for the RWBY-cast reacting to a naked Ironwood.
So, after this is going to be a Qrow chapter.
And I can't wait to show you just what kind of AU I have planned for him. And in all honesty, I can probably see Qrow be like this guy in the next chapter.
See ya later!
