Chapter 3: To the human world!

Jacko's POV

A few days passed and it was as if nothing much had happened. Rudy had beaten Skrawl with ease again, everyone was safe once again and everything went back to normal...

Well...for everybody except me...

As I walked around the streets of Chalkzone my mind seemed to wander to a certain special human girl... I know that there was a probability that Feira did not remember me anymore and I also know that I would never be able to see her again, but I just could not get her out of my mind no matter how hard I tried and...did I really want to?

"I have to forget her...because even if we were able to see each other again we would never be together...she's a human I'm a Chalkzone figure, she can't survive here in Chalkzone and I can't survive there in her world"

I bitterly thought as I tried to distract myself by trying to think up a new song in my mind,but every time that I tried every single song word that came to my head were love songs...

"I wonder why I CAN write love songs yet for some reason I just CAN'T seem to find a girl that will want to marry me"

I bitterly thought as walked passed many shops. It was valentines day today and all the shops were neatly decorated with all sorts of hearths, pink, white and red flowers and all other sorts of things that meant love or had to do with the holiday. Also all around me there chalkzone figures walking around, many were new figures in the Chalkzone and those new ones had to do with Valentimes day.

It seems that whatever a child could imagen on this special love day was here. A good example was the many red and pink hearts with big smiles that were walking across the street, there was also the floating pink gloves with hearts on them that were talking to a shopkeeper close by and a walking rose bouquet which walked passed me.

There were a lot of couples on the street as well. Stopping I turned and looked at a newly drawn cafe and saw that all the seats outside were occupied with chalk figure couples looking all happy and in love as they enjoyed their Valentine lunch and I was sure that if I were to dare to go inside the restaurant I would see it full of couples, all happy and in love...

"One day, I'll be like them, happy with the one I truly love..."

I thought with determination and for a moment I could not help but imagen what would it be like to sit there with her... with Feria...

Skawls POV

I haven't been able to show myself since my last defeat! It had been so humiliating I could not show my face around Chalkzone again! No matter, I will have my revenge one way or another! Eveb if it means targeting other pathetic beings! Like that Feria girl and especially that sickekining pumpkin headed vampire!

He will be the key to my success! He is so madly in love with that Feria girl that he will do anything to be with her! And lucky for him I know a witch who could just do the trick!

I had the beanie boys knew how to rob her of some of her potions, so using those I will take her place and then turn him into a human on MY terms and once that was done nothing could stop me! Not even that pitiful Rudy Tabudi! Ahahahahahahahah!

"Uhhh boss" I heard somebody interrupting my evil laugh.

"WHAT!? CAN'T YOU SEE THAT I AM BUSY LAUGHING EVILLY!" I yelled angrily at the Beanie boy that dared to interrupt me.

"Uhh sorry boss...I just uhh..we just got the potions like you asked" said another of the Beanie boys while the rest coward behind the large puple bag that they have brought.

"Excelent!" I said as my mood improved, even more when I took the bag and opened it to check that everything was there and that the idiots did not mess up.

"Good job boys!" I said as I began to tale out the potions and place them on a neatly on a glass cabinet.

When placed and secured I looked over the lables and bottles before taking out the ones that I needed.

"Now I can get the plan started!" I yelled before laughing out loud and smashing one of the potions ontu the ground. When it broke smoke rose up and enveloped me as I continued to laugh. When the smoke cleared out...

"My disguse is ready" I said with an evil chuckle...

Jacko's POV

I continued to walk the streets, there was really nothing else I could do, I mean true I can go back home and work on my songs, but I did not feel like it. So I continued to walk, hoping to find something else to do and hopefully that something will distract my mind of Feira.

"Sooooo, you wanted to be with Feria!"

A witch suddenly cackled behind me. I looked up shocked, but relaxed when I recognized her. She was a very well known witch here in the night zone as many went to her to either get favors or advice. I myself visit her from time to time to get advise, the last time was a while ago, just before I wanted to marry the bride Rudy eventually stole from me if I remember correctly.

She knew almost everything, so I didn't asked her how she knew Feria or how did she know that I love her..Maybe she knows how I can be with Feria ...

"Is there a way we could be together forever?"

I immediately asked her, almost desperate. The witch cackled again. I smiled, knowing she always did that, but...there was something about the witch...something different...for some reason she seemed a bit different from the last time that I saw here... Her eyes... Her eyes were somehow different but at the same time familiar... but I couldn't seemed to recall were I have seen those eyes before...

"Yes there is, I have the answer right here!"

She said as she slowly landed on the ground, when she did she reached into her pockets and pulled something out.

Raising it up I saw what it was, it was a small glass bottle, said bottle was full of a bubbling purple glowing liquid.

As I looked at the bottle I could feel my undead hearth started to race, that potion...it could be the answer!

As I went extended my hand to grab the potionthe witch pulled it away.

"Not so fast Jacko!...You got to listen first. This potion will turn you into a human for 3 days, only 3 days! In that time you must make that goody goody girl falls in love with you and she has to kiss you, not just any kiss! but a special kiss! A true loves kiss! If she does kiss you before sunset on the third day you'll remain human permenantly"

The witch said looking at me sternly now. I nodded meekly now.

Three days? Three days was not enough time to win her heart, but maybe...once she hears the song I sang for her when we parted... she will recignizd me!

"And remember this, if you don't manage to give her the true loves kiss before the sunset on the third day you'll turn back into a Chalkzone figure, and then... your mine!"

She said before bursting out into laughter and looking at me evilly. Again I had that strange sensation, like this wasn't the real witch I talked to last time, but still I couldn't think of any person that woukd want to or could fake being witch... So I nodded and put out my hands to grab the potion again, but she pulled it back again and shook her head.

"You didn't think you would just... get it for free... right? You have to pay for it..."

She said holding out her free hand as if expecting payment.

"Okay, this is the real witch, I can see that from the way they always want money for her potions and advise"

I thought as I felt through my pockets to see if I had any money with me, but then I remebered that I had left it all home because I hadn't been in the mood to buy anything today...

"Stay put, I'll go home and get some money! Then I'll be right..."

I started, but she stopped me mid sentence by raising her free hand.

"I don't want your money jacko, what I want from you is far more valuable to me"

She started as she rubbed her chin as if thinking. Her eyes looking at me, inspecting at me from top to bottom before smiling as if she decided what it was that she wanted.

"What I want of you... is your voice..."

She said as she came very close to me, now I could clearly see her eyes, they looked like purple whirlpools waiting to pull me under..to trap me...

"Those eyes...If I could only remember were I have seen those eyes before..."

I thought as I backed away both in fear and so there was some space between us and placed a hand where my throat was...

"But, but without my voice... I can't tell her who I am..."

I stammed now afraid that the next words could be my last. The witch cackled evilly again as she showed me her necklace. It looked like a seashell, only it was made of pure gold...

"I know that, but there are other ways to capture a girls heart you know and your charming, polite, romantic...I am sure that with those cualities you can woo her in no time... so... Do we have a deal?"

She now asked firmly as she had grown inpatient, she extended her arm for him to take if he agreed to the deal.

I looked down a little unsure. I knew that there were other ways to capture a girls heart, through gifts and showing them you truly loved them... but that would take more time than 3 days...

Then there was the possibility that she could immediately recognize me without my voice and give me the true loves kiss? Either way I didn't have much of a choice... If I wanted to go to Feria's world I had to take the deal...

"I'll do It!"

I said determined as I put my hand on the witches hand and shook it firmly.

"Good, now place your hand on the medallion"

The witch instructed as she took off the medallion and held it out in her hand by the strand.

I took a deep breath before I placed my hand on said medallion..I was ready for what was about to come...or so I though.

"Now sing!"

The witch ordered as she started to cast the spell that would take out my voice…

When all my dreams will come true.

As I sang I felt a strange warm sensation on my throat. I gasped a little towards the end of the song as yellow orb of light slowly went up my throat and flew out of my mouth hovering in my line of sight just for a moment as if trying to go back where it belong before it was pulled into the medallion where it was trapped.

My eyes widen in shock before I placed my hands on my throat as a cold and empty feeling began to settle on my throat. I opened my mouth to speak but found no sound came out. It was only then that I realized that my voice was gone...I wouldn't be able to speak or sing anymore.

The witch laughed

"Whats wrong Jacko? Cat got your tongue?"

She said as she was amused by my feeble attempt to talk before handing me the potion.

"There you go..make sure you drink it all down...wouldn't want any to go to waste"

She instructed. Holding the bottle my hands began to tremble...This was it...with that in mind I raised the bottle up to my mouth and drank it down, the taste was awful and the liquid burned as it went down my throat but I continued to drink till the very last drop was drunk.

As I began lower the empty bottle I gasped and let go of the bottle as a horrible pain went through my throat. The bottle crashed against the ground breaking then turning to smoke as both my hands went to my throat as the pain intensified. The pain soon spread throught my body as my body began to change.

"Run! Run! Run for your life human child!

The witch cackle evilly as fear and dread filled me along with the pain. Turning around I did what she said...I ran...

Running I felt the pain grow more intense as the changes became more rapid. Wether it was fear or not that helped I ignored the pain as I continued to run as fast as I could to the place Rudy always made a portal, begging in my mind that there would be a portal open for me to use.

As I got closer to the area I was relieved to see that there was a portal at the moment. Arriving the pain had become so intense that it began to weakened me. But somehow with great difficulty I somehow managed to pull myself through the portal.

Falling to the ground I gave out a groan of pain before I began to try and pick myself up off the ground. But I could not...pain..it filled my body along with the feeling of cold...my mind was groggy...my eyes...I could beraly keep them open ... Reaching out with my hands I slowly began to pull myself across the floor as I struggled to stay concious.

Finally it became to much for me, with my body freezing and full of pain...my mind groggy and exhausted...closed my eyes and collapsed completly... Passing out of the ground…..
