Chapter 3: Around Every Corner
(The Group eventually makes it's arrival on Ponyville.)
Twilight: So we're going to see an inventor?
Newton: I know someone who is. He can help us separate the contents of the bottle so that the others can grow their horns and wings back.
Pinkie: I hope it's yummy!
Newton: No, Pinkie. It isn't.
Dash: Do you know where he lives?
Newton: He said to look for a house with a satellite dish.
Pinkie: What's that?
(Conventionally, the house was right in front of them.)
Dash: Huh, that was fast.
(Newton knocked on the door.)
Newton: Hello? Anyone there?
(Prism opened the door.)
Newton: Prism! You're back!
Dash: What's going on?
Prism: Dad! Newton's at the door!
Newton: Where were you?
(Neutron arrived.)
Neutron: Oh, so you're back.
Prism: Hey, is that...
Neutron: I don't know how you did it, but you brought back the Mane Six with you!
Rarity: Pardon?
Neutron: Come inside.
(Everyone walked inside.)
(Everyone sat down for cookies and cider. Newton got something else.)
Dash: This is awesome! I never been served cider by a drone!
Prism: My dad's an inventor. He makes all sorts of stuff.
Twilight: Does he have an assistant?
Prism: Not really.
Applejack: Uh, Newton, what are you drinking? It looks like pig slop!
Newton: Pig slop? It's a chocolate milkshake! Not exactly on par with ours.
Pinkie: It must be yummy on your place.
Newton: It is.
Neutron: According to the formula that Newton gave me, I can distill the mixture into 4 separate drinks.
Dash: Huh?
Prism: He means that he's going to separate the mixture.
Starlight: Wow, she's smart.
Neutron: Can you come with me Newt?
(Newton followed Neutron to his lab.)
Neutron: You might be wondering how I found Prism.
Newton: Yes. Tell me.
Neutron: Promise you won't tell anyone.
Newton: Yes. I won't.
Neutron: You're supposed to do a Pinkie Promise.
(Newton stuck his tongue out in disgust.)
Neutron: Let's just carry on. I had a contact in a alternate universe.
Newton: Where all of the good guys are evil?
Neutron: No. These creatures can stand on their hind legs. They wear clothes all the time. They also have advanced technology.
Newton: Sort of like the Storm Realm. Minus the clothes.
Neutron: Exactly. Anyway, I had a contact there who found Prism in his universe.
Newton: How did she get there?
Neutron: We don't know. Currently, he 's trying to figure it out.
Newton: I hope he does.
Neutron: I have a confession.
Newton: What?
Neutron: Once I found Prism, the guy warned me to leave and not come back.
Newton: Why?
Neutron: His land is filled with corrupted kids his age and holding many adults and children hostage. He says it's best to leave them alone since a fight is too dangerous.
Newton: Wow. I never seen something as evil as that.
Neutron: I know. Sometimes I wonder if it's going to happen to my kids. They will overthrow their parents and take control of society.
Newton: It will not happen if you actually care for them.
Neutron: I know. Every time I go to sleep, I picture the torture in my mind.
Newton: It's weighing on you isn't it?
Neutron: Yeah.
(Newton decided to leave him alone. He walked up to the main room.)
Twilight: There you are. We're asking you to bring the elements of harmony to us. It's in a box in my room.
Pinkie: In your castle?
Newton: She moved back in with the princesses.
Dash: Man, she was really down when her friends died.
Rarity: But now that Newton has a time turner, she can visit her friends whenever she wants!
Newton: Yeah, I'll get your elements.
(Newton arrived in Twilight's room in the castle.)
Newton: It's a sad sight to look at.
(He found the elements under Twilight's bed.)
Newton: Huh, Fluttershy's element is not activated yet.
(When he turned to leave, Newton saw an bow. Immediately he knew who it was.)
Newton: Come on out Leon.
(It was his brother, Takumi. Leon was his real name though.)
Leon: So, what are you doing here?
Newton: Just running an errand. How about you?
Leon: Taking back what's mine.
Newton: You aren't raising your weapon.
Leon: I know you have the sword.
(Newton took out the sword with the retractable blade.)
Leon: You can keep the sword you took, or you can give it to me.
Newton: But you said you're taking back what's yours.
Leon: I know, you and the Six are coming.
Newton: The Six? Who are-
(Newton then realized who the Six were.)
Leon: I know that Dad was giving you a hard time and all-
Newton: Dad was possessed by some weird spirit. Called himself "Strife".
(Leon eyes grew wide.)
Newton: What?
Leon: He used to be one of us.
Newton: Strife?
Leon: He betrayed us.
Newton: But why?
Leon: We don't know. He was our best Archer before I took over.
Newton: Can you tell me why he left the army?
Leon: I don't know, I was told that he was a traitor to us.
Newton: Maybe someone else will know?
Leon: Xander knows but he's back in the Storm Realm taking care of everything.
(Newton put the sword on the ground. Leon then picked it up.)
Newton: Here's your sword back.
Leon: It's not mine, I was giving it to Dad.
Newton: So I took Dad's sword?
Leon: Yep. Dad doesn't know, so we can keep it a secret from us.
Newton: Yes.
Leon: Say, what's inside the box you're holding?
Newton: Nothing.
(Leon ignored and just opened the box.)
Leon: These are...
Newton: Yes. the Elements.
Leon: You're not planning on,
Newton: I won't.
Leon: How come one's not shining?
Newton: It's a long story.
Pinkie(from off): Hey Newt! We're about to leave!
Newton(calling back): Coming!
Leon: I hope you choose the right thing.
(Leon then vanished into the shadows, leaving Newton standing alone with the box. Twilight walked in.)
Twilight: The Storm King's not here. You think the Storm King would attack the capital.
Dash: So let's head to the Crystal empire!
(Leon, watching all of this, gulped in fear. Newton looked nervous too.)
