Mas2009: lmao x3

ARSLOTHES: no real main pairing. Just a bunch of side pairings: SasuSaku, ShikaTema, NaruHina, InoSai, etc., etc., but I guess you could say that NaruHina is "main". :3

News: I have decided on a schedule for all of my storys' updates:

"Of Demons and Shinobi" will be updated every Friday or Saturday.

"How To Cheat Death" will be updated every Tuesday.

"Burning Winds" will be updated every other Wednesday. Will resume in the summer.

"Bad Blood" will be updated on Sunday or Monday. Will resume in the summer.

This story will resume in the summer as well. This update is just an exception, mainly because Uchigawa (Inner) thought up of a few more ideal plot parts.

Chapter 2: To Create Another Legend

Heroes were people who saved, or did something unrivaled. Children were told that the beautiful princess would always be saved by a handsome prince—or a brave knight in shining armor that defeated the dragon. All were oblivious about how much pain some heroes went through to become that legend that would become the golden highlights for many days to come.

Naruto was never one to buy the knight in shining armor deal. He never bought "perfection", either. It was impossible to accomplish, mainly because everybody had flaws and differences. He had flaws. Too many, in fact. While others would object, neither Kurama, Kushina or Minato could object.

Which brings us to now; Naruto, known for his loud knucklehead attitude, was always easy to approach. Never in a million years would he harm his friends, let alone think about it.

That's what people think.

The reality is, he was never one to have pure benevolence. Most of the things he has done was to just keep up his "hero" façade. Now that it was down, he could do what he wished.

Finally getting a chance to crush Konoha, for example. While he would not destroy the king, he would destroy the pawns and knights. He honestly had high hopes for Sasuke being late, but sometimes some thing's were simply impossible.

Naruto finally landed at his destination: The northern part of Konoha. As he landed outside of the walls, he could just feel the growing fear of civilians and shinobi. He grinned, his gleaming teeth shining in the evening light. To him, the look on the peoples faces were priceless. To them…well…it simply meant danger and death.

He dragged his hands and tails across the village, creating explosions that created fires. He kicked the walls down, and started dragging his long tails across the edges, sweeping them in and leaving behind crushed buildings. He stepped into the lower dips of the village, roaring in order to send a shockwave of pure sound to send people flying away, pieces of buildings flying away with them.

He lifted his tails again, dragging them along the walls, chipping off gargantuan sizes of rocks and dirt down onto the buildings below. He shouted, flattening multiple other buildings. He was about to charge up a bijūdama, but he was stopped as he saw a poof of smoke, Choji jumping out and charging at him. His Rin'negan pupil eye dilated, and with a wordless Shinra Tensei, the Akimichi was thrown away. He roared again, interrupting ninjutsu attacks coming from shinobi below.

"Attack, men!" he heard a voice shout. "Do not falter!"

Naruto balled his fist, smashing it down onto the village once again and killing off many more civilians and shinobi. He tipped his muzzle up, balls of positive and negative chakras flying out. His tails curved over his head as he started creating another bijūdama. As it finished, he clamped his jaws around it, ready to fire.

However, he was interrupted as Aoba was summoned on top of him, the purple snake quickly wrapping around his tails and jaws. Naruto growled, his ears flicking and hitting against Aoba's face.

But he stopped when Sasuke suddenly appeared on his cheek right in front of his eye. "…You were serious."

Naruto's eyes narrowed, but he didn't answer otherwise.

"…How…low have you gone, Naruto?" he asked slowly.

The Kyūbi's jinchūriki chuckled. "I was never in the clouds in the first place."

Sasuke visibly winced, blinking in surprise. If he isn't "in the clouds", then where is he? Was it all just an act…? Or did something or someone blackmail him into becoming a rogue…?

His train of thought was cut off as he felt the chakra of the Kyūbi withdraw back into Naruto, leaving Aoba to uncoil and return to his home before he could hit the ground. Sasuke quickly used his Susano'o to block the fall, leaving a crater where the rib cage had hit the ground. Almost instantly, he detected Naruto's chakra signature to be right in front of him, a Rasengan already in the blonde's right hand.

As quickly as he could go, Sasuke activated a Chidori, aiming it towards Naruto's Rasengan to dispel both technique's. However, he was cut off when the Naruto in front of him disappeared in a poof of smoke, indicating a Kage Bushin.

He gaped ever so slightly, but regained posture as quickly as it came. His senses stretched out again, searching for the original. He looked around, but he couldn't find any signs. Then, his eyes widened; he had completely forgotten about the fact that Naruto could use Hiraishin.

"Bijūdama Rasengan," a voice whispered behind him. The Uchiha's eyes widened as he twisted around to see the real Naruto with a spiraling bijūdama in his hands. They slammed into Sasuke's stomach, sending him flying before enveloping a large chunk of Konoha in the explosion of the twin Bijūdama Rasengan.

"I'm worried," Rin said. "The Kyūbi was Madara's tool in the fight at the Valley, and it created that crater that hold a giant lake, now."

"Naruto and Sasuke are stronger than the Rikudō Sennin himself," Kiba pointed out. "The Kyūbi is only a part of Naruto's asset's."

"While that may be true, Sasuke headed towards Konoha; he can't use any destructive techniques unless he gets Naruto away," Kakashi pointed out. He sighed, running a hand through his hair like the entire world was chasing after him. "This is ridiculous…"

"Well if you're so worried," the younger Hatake said, "why not defend Konoha for yourself?"

"I have faith," Kakashi stated. His eyes narrowed. "Plus, we have a job. And we can't let it fail, or else something bad will happen."

Twelve year old Kakashi glared. "Konoha is being destroyed as we speak, though! We can't just let it be destroyed!"

"Our village has been destroyed two times already," Kakashi snapped. "If you think that I want it to be destroyed, then the bijū might as well be benevolent."

There was a moment's pause before Obito had the decency to interrupt it, "What do you mean? Who or what destroyed Konoha twice?"

Once again, a heavy silence hung in the air. Hinata's brows furrowed sadly. "You'll learn, Obito."

The Uchiha's eyes widened. "But if you tell us, then we can stop it!"

"And then do what?" Kakashi countered. "Let my present become a simple possiblity? I don't think so. I'm content with my life. And there ain't squat you of all people could do."

"What the fuck are you saying?!" Obito shouted. "Are you going to allow all of those people to die again?!"

"Obito," Minato hissed. "Calm down."

"But—"

"As much as I hate to admit it, they have a point," the Namikaze continued. "Who knows what might happen if we have future knowledge? Our world could disappear for all we know."

The twelve year old Uchiha glared, but sighed in defeat.

The older Kakashi sighed. "You need to have faith."

"In who?" his younger dopplegänger snapped. "People who could be our enemies?"

"That is no way to talk to someone with decades of experience," Hinata scolded. "Listen to him and treat him like a superior."

"Why should I?" he shot back. "I barely know him."

"That doesn't necessarily mean that you have to be a dick," she snapped back. "Now I said it once—and I'm not saying it again: Treat him like he's your superior."

All the men in the group got shivers from her alarmingly gentle and cold tone. Hinata sighed. "Bolt better not be like this…"

"I don't think he'll be a snobby brat," Kiba stated. "…At least I hope not…"

"Who's Bolt?" Rin asked.

"My son," Hinata replied. "He's turning four months old next week."

"Wow! Really? He sounds adorable!"

"He is. He's got one of those little leaf-like hair strands on the top of his head."

"Aw, that's adorable!"

"I know, right?"

"Women," Kiba grumbled under his breath. He opened his mouth to say something, but was interrupted as a flash of four yellow figures appeared behind Team Minato, grabbing them and disappearing before anyone could even react.

As the explosion rumbled the ground and destroyed the village, Naruto's dopplegänger returned in a flash, throwing down the four past shinobi onto the ground in front of them. The heated shockwaves forced them to cover their heads and close their eyes, but Naruto had a sense of immunity thanks to his ridiculous stamina and strength.

After a few more stretching seconds that felt more like minutes, the explosion disappeared, leaving a disturbingly large crater that was practically tantamount to the one in the Valley of the End. It made Naruto smirk everso slightly, obviously impressed by his work.

But it didn't stay; Team Minato and Sasuke were still here. He knew Sasuke wouldn't die so easily, this would just slow him down.

Minato "suddenly" threw a three-pronged kunai towards Naruto. The Uzumaki just tipped his head to the right, his face and body language gaudily composed.

The Namikaze teleported behind Naruto, a Rasengan in hand. It was obviously aimed for his future sons vertebrae in between his shoulders. However, Naruto used Shinra Tensei, flinging Minato away.

Minato was internally shocked; this man, the destroyer of Konoha and a future "hero", was very…omnipotent. That was the only way to explain it. Omnipresent. He ccould practically sense it. It was more of a gut feeling though.

"Sensei!" Rin's voice snapped him out of his muse as he landed on his side, rolling a few more feet before slowing to a stop. His left rib cage hurt terribly like knives stuck in his flesh, and his right femur and ankle were obviously broken. He slowly sat up in a half crouch, careful not to move his right leg to much. He put his hand over his left rib, feeling blood and bone poking out against his vest.

So much damage with just one hit…he's way stronger than expected… Minato thought. His vision was blurring, and he was dizzy—concussion, obviously.

Rin got up and ran towards him, keeping her distance from Naruto as she rushed to heal his wounds.

Naruto smirked lightly again, but it soon disappeared again as orange pigments appeared around his eyes, his red eye becoming a fiery orange. But his Rin'negan remained untouched by his sage mode quirks.

He started walking towards Obito and the younger Kakashi, making them both tense. But he didn't do anything. He just ruffled both of their hair with affection, leaving behind a gift before using Hiraishin to teleport on the other side of the crater where Sasuke was hiding.

Sasuke sighed shakily, charging up his chakra to heal his burnt arm before recharging it to perform a certain jutsu. Once the wound healed completely, he clapped his hands together. He sighed one more time before spinning out from behind the destroyed cement wall, his gargantua reserves flaring just in time for Naruto to arrive.

The blonde's eyes widened in shock as six coffins rose from the ground. He was mainly shocked because of the chakra signatures he felt. "And you think they'll do anything?"

"A little," Sasuke replied. "They're all equivalent to a bijū."

He stared, almost amused. But it disappeared when the coffin covers tipped and fell over, revealing the faces of Hashirama Senju, Tobirama Senju, Hiruzen Sarutobi, Minato Namikaze, Jiraiya and Itachi Uchiha. The coffins retracted, and their iris's became lively again.

Hashirama was the first to notice. "Naruto…why are we here?"

The blonde snorted. "I was not the one whom revived you. Sasuke did."

All of their heads turned towards the Uchiha. Tobirama glared. "Are you going to use us to destroy Konoha, brat?"

Sasuke scowled. "Look around you; look at the damage. What do you sense on the damage?"

Tobirama turned his head, his red eyes scanning the destruction. He paused before glancing at Naruto. "I sense bijū chakra."

"Are you saying that my son destroyed Konoha?" Minato hissed vehemently.

The Senju glared. "No. I was simply—"

Naruto's disturbing chuckle cut off their slowly turning hostile conversation. He had a shit-eating grin on his face, fangs of the Kyūbi sticking out. "Cute. You think I wouldn't?"

"…So you did this," Hirizen concluded. "Why?"

"Yeah…weren't you going to become Hokage?" Jiraiya spoke up.

The Uzumaki's shit-eating grin turned into a deep hatred-filled scowl. "The only reason I…'aspired' to become this villages leader was to become the strongest shinobi, which meant I wouldn't have such a hard time destroying Konoha."

All of the revived shinobi were shocked. Had the greatest man to ever exist just been a fake mask? Minato wasn't sure what to think. His son was destroying what he died for. He couldn't help but wonder…where did he go wrong…?

"Bijūdama Rasengan": "Tailed Beast Bomb Rasengan"

I know. It's ridiculously short for my normal terms, but I rushed this. But hey, it's better than waiting for another month or two…

(Uchihawa: "WHERE THE FUCK IS THAT DAMNABLE SAM?! SARA! USE YOUR GOD DAMNED SURVIVAL INSTINCTS!") *is playing Tomb Raider…*

Peace! :3
