It was finally Saturday, so the eight girls decided to go out and do some karaoke.
"Wait!" said Fluttershy. "We can't go to a bar. None of us are legal yet."
"We know, Flutts," said Rainbow. "We were planning to go to that new Karaoke box that just opened down the street."
"Karaoke box?" asked Bella. "Isn't that only in Japan?"
"Nope," answered Twilight. "There are a few in the U.S. They just weren't local til now."
"Yeah, a new Japanese style karaoke box just opened in our city," said Sunset. "It's farther than the shopping center, but it's worth it."
"Absolutely," said Rarity. "You should see the architecture. It's positively gorgeous."
"Then what are waiting for?!" asked Pinkie. "Let's hit the stage!"
"Hold up, Pinkie!" called Applejack. "We need to take the bus."
"That won't be necessary," said Rarity. "Our transportation should be arriving in a few seconds."
Just then, a Limousine pulled up to the girls.
"Wow!" said the girls.
"I rented it for the day," said Rarity. "If we're going to be traveling to karaoke, we must do it in style."
Bella's was shocked. She then asked Applejack. "Is she rich?"
"Almost," said AJ.
"Wow," said Bella. "This is the first time I've ever been in a limo."
"Well, there's a first time for everything, darling," said Rarity.
The girls all entered and headed off.
A while later, the girls arrived at the new Karaoke box.
"We'll be back in about two hours, Randolph," said Rarity.
"Got it," said Randolph. He then took off to get some lunch, while the girls headed inside.
"Good afternoon," said the counter boy. "I'm Akio."
"Good day to you, Mr. Akio," said Rarity. "My friends and I would like to sing a few songs."
"Alright then," said Akio. "Would you all like some drinks?"
"Yes, but none alcoholic please," said Rarity. "We're all minors."
"You got it," said Akio. "Let's see, the cost for eight with drinks will be… $72.00."
"Woah," said Bella. "Kinda pricy."
"Not to worry, darling," said Rarity. "We'll simply split the cost. We all just need to pay $9."
"Um… I'd like a private room, please," said Fluttershy.
"Sure thing," said Akio.
"Uh?" asked Bella. "Why private?"
"You'll have to forgive her," said Rainbow.
"She gets stage very easily," said Applejack.
"Oh, okay," said Bella. "I kinda know what that's like."
"The total for one with drinks will be just $9," said Akio.
"Thank you," said Fluttershy. "Sorry girls. But… maybe next time."
"Poor girl," said Bella.
"Okay, now it's just seven with drinks, so that'll be $63.00," said Akio. "Oh, and I need to make a member card for you real quick."
"Wonderful," said Rarity.
"Will that be cash or credit?" asked Akio.
"Cash," said Rarity. "Let's all just pay $9."
"Sure!" said the girls as they all took out their bills.
"Wow this is so cool!" said Bella. "I've always wanted to do this."
"You've never been to karaoke before?" asked Sunset.
"Well, I've never been to a karaoke box before," said Bella. "I thought the only places you could go were the bars. So I figured I had to be 21 or older to go and sing. But I didn't want to get drunk."
"Well, you have nothing to fear now," said Rainbow.
"Believe it or not, this is my first time too," said Twilight.
"Well alright," said Sunset. "Let's all enjoy it!"
"Yeah!" said the others.
"Who wants to go first?" asked Sunset.
"Me! Me! Me!" said Pinkie.
"Alright, go for it, Pinkie," said Sunset.
Pinkie choose the song "American Girl" by Bonnie McKee. She then prepared her lungs, and sang.
"Woah," said the girls when Pinkie was done.
"That was awesome, Pinkie!" said Rainbow.
"Good job," said Twi.
"Thanks a lot," said Pinkie. "Who's next?"
"I'll go next," said AJ. She chose "Girl in a Country Song" by Maddie & Tae, and started singing.
"Amazing!" said Pinkie.
"Great," said Sunset.
"Ya'll are too kind," said Applejack.
"I wish to go next," said Rarity. She chose "New Rules" by Dua Lipa and got right to it.
"Wow," said the girls.
"Nice, very nice," said Twilight.
"Cool," said Rainbow.
"Thank you all," said Rarity. "So who's next?"
"I'll go," said "Rainbow. "Think I'll choose… that one song by Hailee Steinfeld, "Most Girls." Here goes."
When she was done, her friends cheered.
"You wanna go next, Bella?" asked Sunset.
"No, you go first," said Bella.
"Well, okay," said Sunset. "Let's see…" She checked through the song list and chose "I Got You" by Bebe Rexha.
When she was done, all the girls cheered.
"Wow that great!" said Applejack.
"Wonderful," said Twi.
"Thanks everyone," said Sunset.
"I guess I'll go next," said Bella. She chose "Take On Me" by Andrea Begley and started singing.
All the girls cheered when she finished.
"Amazing!" said Sunset.
"Awesome!" said Rainbow.
"Yah-hoo!" said AJ.
"Wonderful, darling," said Rarity.
"Great!" said Pinkie.
"Thank you all very much," said Bella blushing. "I can't believe I made it through without messing up."
"As long as you have fun, that's all that matters," said Pinkie.
"Yeah, this isn't American Idol or whatever," said Sunset.
"We're not here to judge," said Rarity. "But you did do a wonderful job."
"Thank you girls," said Bella.
"Well, guess I'm up," said Twilight. She chose "Like Satellites" by the Manufactured Superstars and began. During the song, she almost started dancing.
"Wow, Twilight," said Rainbow. "I didn't know you were into that kind of music."
"Once I heard the song, I just couldn't help but like it," Twilight admitted.
"I wonder what Fluttershy is singing right now," said Pinkie.
"She's in the next room," said Bella. "So let's see if we can hear her."
The girls all cupped their hands behind their ears and listened in on Fluttershy's song. They heard Fluttershy singing a piano love song.
"Wait, I know that song," said Sunset. "It's "Ordinary Day" by Vanessa Carlton."
"Nice choice," said Pinkie.
When Fluttershy was done singing, she took a breath. "Well that was fun."
"That was totally unbelievable!" said Pinkie through the wall.
"You heard me?!" asked Fluttershy. "Oh no!"
"Don't be embarrassed!" said Rarity. "That was beautiful!"
"No!" said Fluttershy. "I can't believe everyone heard me!"
"Fluttershy!" yelled Bella.
"Yes?" asked Flutts.
"You can't be embarrassed," said Bella.
"I can't?" asked Fluttershy.
"Only if you were bad at singing would you have a reason to be embarrassed," said Bella. "But you literally have the voice of an angel. It's catchy, passionate, flawless, and beautiful."
"Is it really… all that?" asked Fluttershy.
"Yes," said Sunset. "Just like when you sing with us."
"You always have the best vocals," said Rainbow. "I'm actually kinda jealous."
"Oh, I'm sorry," said Fluttershy.
"Nah, its fine," said Rainbow.
"The point is, you shouldn't do this to yourself," said Bella. "Don't be scared that no one won't like your voice. You obviously love singing, you've put so much practice into your voice, that it now sounds perfect. You have no reason to be ashamed."
"Besides, we're your friends," said Twilight.
"We would be honest with you about your voice if it was bad," said AJ.
"And it isn't!" said all the girls.
"Plus," said Sunset. "If you don't think we're telling the truth, then that means you don't trust us."
Fluttershy was silent for a minute. "Thank you. Thank you all! I'm coming in!" She immediately came into the other room. "I'm sorry I tried to hide it for so long. I was just so afraid about not being good enough."
"Trust us," said Rainbow. "You are."
"Now how about we all go another round?" asked Twilight.
"We could even sing some duets," said Sunset.
"For once, I'm game!" said Fluttershy.
"Then let's do it!" said Pinkie.
The girls then sang a few more songs, some together, some solo. Then it was Bella's turn again, so she sang Mr. Roboto by Styx. But as she sang, the deck box in her pocket started to glow, and three HEROES appeared in front of the girls. Vision HERO Witch Raider, Elemental Hero Lady Heat, and Elemental Hero Neos.
"What the?!" cried Sunset and the girls.
Bella was now completely lost in "the zone" and kept singing. As she did, the monsters danced along to the beat.
"What is going on?" asked Rarity.
"Did someone turn on their duel disk?" asked Rainbow.
"Don't know," answered AJ.
When the song was over, Bella looked at her friends and saw the duel monsters. "OH MY GOD!" said Bella.
"Bella?" asked Fluttershy. "Are you doing that?"
"It's just…. projections from my duel disk!" said Bella.
"But it's not on your arm," Twilight pointed out.
Pinkie then went up to the monsters and put her hand up to the monsters, thinking that it would just pass through, but it didn't. It landed on a solid body. "Wait a minute! These monsters are real!"
"NO! NO! NO! This can't be happening again!" thought Bella. "The last time this happened, everyone ran away screaming! Now they're gonna think I'm freak who brings monsters to life to cause trouble! NO! They just started to accept me! And now my past is gonna happen all over again! Why me?! Why does this have to happen again?!"
"Bella, this is scientifically impossible!" said Twilight. "How did you manage to create solid existing bodies for these creatures?!"
"Well… I…um…well," said Bella in a stuttering manner.
"Is it through your powers?" asked Sunset.
Bella took a deep breath knowing that it was too late to say anything else. "Yes."
"That's amazing!" said Pinkie.
"Awesome!" said Rainbow.
"I love the outfits on those girls," said Rarity.
"Uh?" asked Bella.
"This is worthy of a Nobel Prize!" said Twilight. "You actually have the ability to create actual duel monsters! Wow, it's like you're…"
"Bringing them to life?" asked Fluttershy.
"Yes," said Twilight.
"You all don't seem scared," said Bella.
"Why would we be?" asked Rainbow. "This is totally awesome!"
"Can you bring my cards to life?!" asked Pinkie.
"I knew some people had powerful psychic abilities," said Twilight. "But I didn't know they could be pushed to this level!"
"This Neos guy is so cool," said Fluttershy.
"Thank you," said Neos. He then struck a pose, showing off his muscles.
"Wow," said Fluttershy.
"Oh my, you two must tell who made your outfits," said Rarity to Lady Heat and Witch Raider. "They're absolutely gorgeous!"
"Maximillion Pegasus did," said Lady Heat.
"Glad you like them," said Witch Raider.
"Bella!" said Twilight. "I have like, a thousand questions!"
"We better keep this quiet, Twi," said Sunset. "We don't want others to start treating Bella like a human science project."
"Oh… yeah. Good point," said Twilight. "Sorry."
"It's okay," said Bella. "Thank you, Sunset."
"You're welcome," said Sunset.
"So… you all really don't thing I'm a freak?" asked Bella. "Or someone whose gonna cause trouble or danger?"
"If you were, you would have done something like that by now," said Applejack.
"Besides, who are we to judge you?" asked Sunset.
"Especially when you have such a cool power!" said Rainbow.
"This is completely unbelievable," thought Bella. "They still accept me. Even after learning one of my deepest and darkest secrets. Are these girls angels?"
The girls hug out for a short while with the three monsters, then packed up, hopped back in the limo, and went to the park to duel.
"So you can summon real monsters when you need to, but sometimes it just… happens?" asked Twilight.
"Yeah," admitted Bella. "Like when I'm in danger, or sometimes when I'm really happy. And I'm always happy with you girls."
"Well we're always happy with you too," said Fluttershy. "Hey, I think I'd like to duel today."
"You do?" asked Rainbow.
"Awesome," said Bella. "I've wanted to duel you too."
"Then what are we waiting for?" asked Fluttershy.
"Let's duel!" said the two.
"Wow," said Twi. "I've never seen Fluttershy get this excited about a duel."
"I guess her and Bella just have a lot in common," said Rarity.

Turn 1: Bella
"I draw!" said Bella. "I play Destiny Draw! Now by discarding a Destiny Hero, I can draw two cards. So I'll discard Destiny Hero – Malicious, and draw! Now I play D – Spirit, which lets me special summon one level four or lower Destiny Hero from my hand, as long as I don't have any Destiny Heroes on the field already. I choose Disk Commander! Next I play, Over Destiny! It lets me select a Destiny Hero in my graveyard, then special summon another one from my deck, as long as it's level is less than, or equal to half of that monster's level. I select Destiny Hero – Malicious, and since he's level six, I'll bring out the level three, Captain Tenacious! Then I'll banish the Destiny Hero – Malicious in my graveyard to special summon another one from my deck! Now I tribute all three of my Destiny Heroes to special summon Destiny Hero – Dogma in attack Mode! I place one card face down, then activate Clock Tower Prison! Now, during each of your standby phases, my Prison will gain a Clock Counter. When it has four or more, all Battle Damage will be reduced to 0! I end my turn."
Turn 2: Fluttershy
"Okay, my turn!" said Fluttershy as she drew.
"Oh, and Fluttershy," said Bella. "Hate to tell you this, but, during your standby phase, my Dogma's effect activates. Which cuts your life points in halve."
"What?" asked Fluttershy.

"And now I gain a Clock Counter," added Bella. (Clock Tower Prison Counters: 1) "But I think I'll go ahead and activate my face down, Eternal Dread! This adds two more counters to my Clock!" (Clock Tower Prison Counters: 3) "One more and my points are safe!"
"I see," said Fluttershy. "In that case, I summon Bunilla in defense mode. I then place two cards face down and end my turn."
Turn 3: Bella
"Okay, I draw," said Bella. "Don't get me wrong, Fluttershy. Your bunny is so unbelievably cute. But in order to win, I must attack. Dogma, destroy Bunilla!"
"Not on my watch!" said Fluttershy. "I activate Astral Barrier and Sprit Barrier! Now, anytime you try to hurt my fuzzy little friends, my Astral Barrier will turn your attack into a direct one! But as long as I have one of my little cuties on the field, I won't take any damage!"
"You gotta be kidding me," said Bella. "Now I can't destroy any of your monsters, or your life points."
"Yes," said Fluttershy. "Just like my Astral Barrier protects my friends, my friends protect me. As long as I have Spirit Barrier that is…"
"Wow," said Bella. "Great combo, Fluttershy."
"Thank you very much," said Fluttershy.
"I place one card face down and end my turn," said Bella. "I can't wait to see what else you've got up your sleeve."
Turn 4: Fluttershy
"You don't have to, it's my move!" said Fluttershy.
"And because it is, I am now protected!" (Clock Tower Prison Counters: 4)
"I know," said Fluttershy. "Anyway, I play Double Summon so I can bring out Dark Bat and Chu-Ske the Mouse Fighter in defense mode. That's all I can do for now, so I end my turn."
Turn 5: Bella
"Okay, I draw," said Bella. "Unfortunately, all I can do is place another card face down. I end my turn."
Turn 6: Fluttershy
"Okay by me," said Fluttershy as she drew. (Clock Tower Prison Counters: 5) "I will place one card face down and set a monster. I end my turn. I hope this works."
Turn 7: Bella
"My turn, I draw!" said Bella. "I play Call of the Haunted to bring back my Destiny Hero – Disk Commander! And when he's summoned from the grave, I can draw two cards. Yes! I play Polymerization to fuse my Dogma with the most powerful Destiny Hero ever!"
Fluttershy gulped. "You mean...?"
"Yes!" answered Bella. "I'm fusing my Dogma with Destiny Hero – Plasma! So that I can create Destiny End Dragoon!"
"Woah!" said the girls.
"Even though I can't attack, that doesn't mean I can't use my monster's effect!" said Bella. "Once per turn, I can choose not to attack. In exchange, I can destroy one of your monsters, then you take damage equal to that monster's ATK power."
"Oh no!" cried Fluttershy.
"Sorry Fluttershy," said Bella. "I choose to destroy your Mouse Fighter!"
"Well I activate a trap!" said Fluttershy. "Beast Soul Swap! It lets me take one Beast monster on the field, and return it to my hand. Then I can special summon a monster with the same level to take its place."
"Dang, I missed," said Bella.
"Correct," said Fluttershy. "I'll just return my Mouse Fighter to the field in defense mode."
"Fine, I place one card face down and end my turn," said Bella. "Boy, this girl is tougher than I thought. I wonder what she's planning."
Turn 8: Fluttershy
"Back to me," said Fluttershy. (Clock Tower Prison Counters: 6) "I play Pot of Greed, so I draw two cards. Now I can summon Beaver Warrior in attack mode. And then, I'll flip over my Creepy Coney!"
"Oh no!" said Bella.
"Seems you caught on," said Fluttershy. "I may not be able to inflict battle damage, but Ican inflict direct damage! You lose 1000 life points for each normal monster I have on my side. And I have four! So you lose!"
"Not quite," said Bella.
"Huh?" asked Fluttershy.
"I activate Mystic Wok!" said Bella. "This lets me tribute one of my monsters, then I gain life points equal to that monster's ATK or DEF points. But since my End Dragoon's points are the same, it doesn't matter what I choose."

"Shoot!" said Fluttershy.

"Whew, that was close," said Bella. "If I didn't have my Clock Tower on the field, you would have beaten me."
"I still might," said Fluttershy. "I activate Murmur of the Forest! It lets me flip one of your monsters face down, then I can return a field spell back to the owner's hand."
"Yikes!" said Bella as her Disk Commander was flipped face down.
"Now I'll switch my Mouse Fighter and Dark Bat to attack mode," said Fluttershy. "First, my Dark Bat will attack your face down Disk Commander! Then, my other friends will finish you off. Attack!"
"Hold it!" said Bella. "I activate D – Fortune! When you attack me directly, I can banish a Destiny Hero, (Destiny Hero – Malicious) and the battle phase ends! That was way too close."
"I guess my cuddly friends and I will just have to get you next turn," said Fluttershy. "Your move."
Turn 8: Bella
"I know, I draw," said Bella. "Oh by the way, there won't be a next turn."
"Why not?" asked Fluttershy.
"Because I'm ending this now with Mystical Space Typhoon!" said Bella. "And I'll use it to destroy your Spirit Barrier!"
"No!" cried Fluttershy.
"You're right, Fluttershy," said Bella. "Your monsters are too cute to attack. So I'll just attack you instead!"
"Oh my…" said Fluttershy.
"Destiny End Dragoon, very gently, attack her directly," ordered Bella. Her monster simply flapped his wings, blowing a small gust of wind toward Fluttershy.
"Oh, that wasn't so bad," said Fluttershy.

"I call dips tomorrow!" said Rainbow.
"You got it!" said Bella. "I've always wanted to duel the Queen of Turbo Duels."
