Another boring party filled with people who dressed up glamorously and was talking about their newest villa and what-nots.

Aki yawned and walked past the group of giggly girls in sparkly ornaments.

She smiled at the waiter who offered her a drink and thanked him before gulping down the liquid in her glass.

A man noticed her and walked over to her.

"Hey."

"Hello. You are?" Aki asked.

"Hirohata Kenji. You?" he smiled charmingly at her.

Aki stole a glance at her so-called husband, who was currently indulged in a conversation with a few attractive ladies and had completely forgotten about her.

"Aki, just call me Aki." she smiled back at him and held the hand which was offered to her.

Aki's so-called husband was also stealing glances at her. He was surprised to see her gone from the chocolate fountain.

His eyes scanned over the crowd of people and finally spotted a lady in navy blue. His wife.

He frowned. "Why is she with Hirohata?"

"Ootori-san?"

He looked back at the lovely young lady in front of him and flashed his signature smile.

"Yes?"

She blushed and stumbled with her words.

"Girls like her are so simple." he thought as he sipped his wine.

"Oh!" she suddenly squealed, surprising Kyoya.

"They are so good at dancing!"

"Are they a couple?" asked the lady next to her.

Kyoya turned around and saw his wife with Hirohata.

He felt something close to anger and a twinge in his chest.

He was not happy at all.

"Kyo, you are rather quiet today."

Aki climbed into the bed and plopped down next to Kyoya who was currently reading a book about finance.

Hearing no response to him, she went on, "I want to attend more of these parties. It was more fun than I thought. Did you see me dancing with Kenji? Everyone seemed so imp-"

A sudden jerk on her arm landed her flat on the bed and a figure hovered on top of her.

"Kenji? I didn't know you guys were so friendly with each other."

Aki could tell he was pissed, but she didn't know what and therefore decided to push her limits.

"I think he's a really nice guy. He wasn't snobby or arrogant or..." she trailed off when she saw Kyoya's expression.

That demonic expression of his.

"Don't forget, Ootori Aki, that you are married and not to get chummy with any guys you meet."

He got off Aki and turned away from her.

"For your information, I was just trying to get him to invest in my restaurant idea. It's all business so don't worry about the reputation of the Ootori household."

"Hm."

"I'm meeting him tomorrow by the way."

Something snapped in Kyoya and he raised his voice.

"Why don't you ever ask me for things like this? Why Hirohata? I can just easily sponsor your proposal.."

"Are you jealous?" Aki suddenly said.

Kyoya froze.

Aki chuckled. "That's cute."

She reached out and patted his head.

"I don't know what you're talking about. Ridiculous." he muttered.

Aki laughed again.

"Sorry for suggesting that but I'm still meeting him tomorrow. Good night."

He felt the same twinging feeling in his chest again.

"I need to see the doctor tomorrow. This is annoying..."
