Chapter 3: A New Place to Live
"We seriously need to move..." I said as all of them rose their eyebrows. It's already been like... A month since I've saved them from the Titans and what a boring month that was. Well, no significant events are coming up in the next year so that's good, "And why's that?" Farlan asked me, and another spoiler from the anime will be spoiled again but still. Maybe I'll just leave that part for a while
"My goal is pretty much save everyone and give them shelter with us, so obviously we need an underground channel that connects within the walls without anybody knowing other than ourselves-" , "But?" I scratched my head and told everyone my true feelings, "I still have no idea what I'm supposed to do, actually... Ehehehe..." Isabel face palmed while the rest just sighed
I could feel their disappointment in me, even though it's a slight mistake, "Then let's explore the world first, we might find this 'ocean' you've been talking about and those 'islands' thingies. Those cards of yours will be useful to build a boat with" I nodded at Flagons' idea. They already knew about my power a week ago, when we were a bit short on food and there seemed to be no animals near us. I summoned some shinobi's who could hunt for us, their first reaction was like, "YOU CAN SUMMON PEOPLE!?"
Of course, my limit is still 3 characters to summon and if I go beyond that? The effects were pretty much the same as Eren's Titan powers. I explained that there were more than thousands of worlds, all fighting it's own battles and I can summon some of them. When I told them about Naruto, Farlan commented, "Wow, compared to them, we have an easier opponent"
That was also the time I explained about the Secret Military Police. Flagon was suspicious about the MPs from the start but never thought it was that bad. Isabel and Farlan stayed neutral as they lived in the Underground, with the MPs abusing the shit out of the people there so no surprise but felt angry. He could even saw Isabel clutching her first in secret it started to bleed
We packed up our food which we hunted a few days ago by using the capes of the Recon's as bags before I summoned Eren again. He's becoming a transport system to us it's funny, actually. Something was wrong with him though, he seemed hungry for some reason... "Eren? Have you eaten yet?" Isabel asked. The boy shook his head, "No... I haven't eaten anything in... A month or so..." Everyone stared at the boy for a long time before bursting uncontrollably, "A MONTH!?"
Eren nodded as he clutched his stomach... Wait-, "Eren, please tell me if you puked eating human food" it wasn't a question, I ordered him to do so. He nodded his head again, "Um... I'll be right back for a while, ok? I need a small talk with him" with that I dragged him into the woods further while the others waited near the cave
As I thought we were far enough, I asked him a question that he immediately paled at, "Eren, are you a ghoul? Like Ayato?" I asked him. He stayed silent with his eyes finding the ground very interesting, I sighed, "I'll take that as a yes then, since the similarities between Ayato and you are your voices. Does that mean that you can access their powers as well?"
"I-I think so... I mean, I can't eat human food anymore... Now I can only eat human flesh... I'm a monster..." I patted his head in a soothing manner as someone appeared right beside me, and you'll never guessed who it was, "Yes, you may be a monster in their eyes... But think of all the people that cared for you, they ain't gonna shit themselves just because you eat humans. Shitty brat"
The mood was lighter, even if it is slightly thanks to Levi appearing now. I whispered to his ear, "Comfort him, them come back" with that, I left the wood. I heard a crack of a twig as I looked behind a tree to discover-, "I knew you'll be eavesdropping..." Isabel, Farlan and Flagon were all there, "Did you heard everything what we talked about?" I asked, "We did, and we don't care" I looked up at Farlan
"We all owe you our lives, and here you are helping more of the people from this world even though you don't know most of them. We'll put our lives on the line for you" I smiled at them all before nodding, "Glad to hear that from you guys. I also discover that my cards can access their other selves from other worlds, which is good because we'll need everything we can to pull this through" I said as Isabel looked at me weirdly
"Meaning?" , "Meaning that, Eren here can use his other selves's powers from other universes. Those who shared the same voices as him only though" at that moment, Levi and Eren appeared out of the woods. The cute little brat was sniffling and was comforted by Levi who-... Holy shit, is his shoulder bleeding!? There was a large bite mark on his right shoulder and it looked like some flesh were bitten off of him, "Don't tell me you became a food bank for him?" I asked, Levi just looked at me and nodded
"Alright then, Levi, Eren. You guys can go now, I'll summon someone else..." I mind began to wonder as I remember the RAB group, I have them as my cards as well but will they tell us their home town? "Wait, Levi. I need to ask you something, but I think it's best if Eren reverts back to his card form" I said. Eren did what I said and transformed back, my group plus Levi were awaiting for me
"Hold on, I think I know what you're gonna ask" he said, "I've tried some experiments with the others as well, since god didn't give a shit on giving us a fucking manual-" Isabel and Farlan chuckled at that statement, "-our memories are limited. We're all connected with your mind on how much you remember, that'll also be our limit. I tested this on Annie and her accomplice"
Well damn... Just when I was about to interrogate them on why they're doing this too. Oh well, no use whining I guess, "Shit. Ok then, just get me Reiner so we can use him as our transport" I said to him before he vanished into him air and was replaced by the blond teen. He transformed into a Titan before kneeling down with his palms open to let us sit on it. Maybe I should build a kingdom as well? I mean, we're gonna house 20% of the humans there and more people so a cave wouldn't be enough
"Hm... Maybe we should built some islands? Using the Shinobi..." I mumbled out as Farlan heard me and asked, "Shinobi?" I held my chin as I thought of a good geographical position. In the middle of the sea with islands connecting with each other, that would be nice but if there were emergencies then we need a shield. A large one, like those giants from that movie with the main character named Milo. What was that movie called again? It's just Atlantis right?
"Shinobi are the ones that hunted our food before" I said to Farlan before looking at Reiner, "Oi, Mr. Wrecking Ball Titan! You sniffed some salt in the air yet!?" I yelled out as he stopped running before taking some sniffs. His head was pointing towards North, he seemed hesitant at first before he looked at me, "Hey, you're the one who has the nose. Go for it" Flagon said as Reiner nodded and began running towards the direction we decided upon
"Say, you guys think building a kingdom's a great idea?" I asked them. Flagon seemed to be in thought as Farlan was the one who answered, "We have to know how many people we're housing first then we can either make a village or that. You've said 30% more right?" I nodded, "And it's still growing, so yeah. A kingdom will do more than enough" he explained. That does made sense, so we're making a kingdom, "So who's gonna be the king?" I asked, all three looked at me like I was stupid, "You are" they said in perfect harmony
Wait... Me? ME!? "Huh!? Why me!? I can't even organize my own life, how the hell can I organize the lives of a million people!?" I shouted. How could they pick me, a teenager who can't even control her own life, to be a queen of a million and more!? "Believe it or not, you know the future and the secrets of the Walls better than any of us who don't know shit. You may be not the best strategist but you risk your life to save the three of us, and had plan ahead, even if it's only a little. You're the only one who can do it" Farlan explained
... Seriously? I'm the only one? Hah, I somehow know what Alibaba was feeling when he was chosen as King but he managed to avoid that by transforming his kingdom to a republic. What if I do that? "And we're not taking no as an answer" Isabel said to me, like she just read what's inside my mind. First, I went inside an anime then second I was to build a kingdom and third become the queen? Just how fucked up is my life?
"Salt" Reiner mumbled out as I looked at him, "Found it already!? Good, keep going that way!" I tried to get off topic, and it seemed it worked as everyone was looking at the direction we're running. A salty smell had reached my nose, we looked up to the distance and found ourselves-, "A beach!" I yelled out. The blue sea glistening because of the sun's rays, the white sand seemed so fluffy from the distance
"Wow! So that's the beach!" Isabel yelled out. Everyone looked out far into the horizon, it's been a while since I've been to a beach, even though I've lived quite close to one myself, "Just as you said, nothing but blue water as far as the eye can see" Farlan said, I smiled. When we've finally arrived on the beach, Reiner placed us down and we begin scouting the area a bit
I saw a few islands nearby, but I got the feeling they were infested with Titans, "No Titans here, so what should we do now?" Asked Isabel. I stopped my feet in front of some piles of rocks before sitting on them and think. We need an island to protect the people from the Titans, but as I said before the ones that I saw were infested by Titans as well... Wait, islands hm? What if we build one like I thought of before? A card appeared in front of me as I crushed it with my bare hands to reveal a familiar blond Hokage
"Naruto, build an island for me. A large, circular one" everyone looked at me with wild expressions, except Reiner who was busy escaping the Titan carcass, "Hah?" Naruto replied, I asked him if he had any paper and pencils with him. Surprisingly he had them as everyone gathered around to look at my drawing. I drew a large circle in the middle while explaining
"This circle will be our island with a radius of Wall Maria which will be 480 km then right in the middle which will have 100 km of radius-" I pointed the centre before drawing another circle, it's slightly smaller than the first one, "We'll have a statue of Eren in his Titan form carrying a circular, cone like mountain with 2 pathways from one side with another circling the mountain heading to the top by going through the same directions. Then-" I placed 12 circles a little further away from the biggest circle, then another 12 further away from the other, "These are statues of the First Generation of the 12 Titans. The most outer will be the sons and daughters of the First's. They'll be like our protector, Magi's will built this" I explained
Farlan raised his hand to question me, "Why Titans as our protector? Why not some other warriors or gods? And what's the mountain for?" He asked. I thought about it first, there used to be Titans in my world too but they've long extinct "You guys also know that in my world, there used to be Titans as well" this caught their attention
"Really? You said used to, so they're gone?" Isabel asked. I nodded, "Yep, nowadays in my world, they talked about Titans as if they're myths. It happened a very long time ago" I said. Farlan looked at me before asking, "You think you can tell us your story of Titans as you already know ours?" Hm, good point. I like Greek mythology, but sometimes it's confusing as looking for a needle in a haystack, "Alright then" so I began with a small introduction
"Titans were a primeval race of powerful deities, descendants of Gaia or Earth and Uranus or Sky, that ruled during the legendary Golden Age. They were immortal giants of incredible strength and were also the first pantheon of Greek gods and goddesses" I explained, looking back at the group who has interesting expressions. Including Reiner and Naruto
"They were descendant of god?" Isabel asked. I nodded, "Yeah, you can call them 'True Titans' as they are born of god and not of human like in this world. In the first generation of twelve Titans, the males were Oceanus, Hyperion, Coeus, Cronus, Crius, and Iapetus and the females—the Titanesses or Titanides—were Mnemosyne, Tethys, Theia, Phoebe, Rhea, and Themis. The second generation of Titans consisted of Hyperion's children Helios, Selene and Eos; Coeus's daughters Leto and Asteria; Iapetus's children Atlas, Prometheus, Epimetheus, and Menoetius; Oceanus' daughter Metis; and Crius' sons Astraeus, Pallas, and Perses"
"They also have names... They must be extremely important" Flagon stated, I nodded once more, "Incredibly. The Titans were overthrown by a race of younger gods, the Olympians, in the Titanomachy 'War of the Titans'" I took a deep breath before continuing the Titanomachy
"The 'Titanomachy' was a ten-year series of battles which were fought in Thessaly between the two camps of deities long before the existence of mankind: the Titans, based on Mount Othrys, and the Olympians, who would come to reign on Mount Olympus. This Titanomachia is also known as or War of the Titans, Battle of the Titans, Battle of Gods, or just The Titan War. The war was fought to decide who would become the rulers of the Universe" I stopped and looked at their expressions
Shocked and surprised, "I know, confusing. I'm don't remember all of it but I only know the most basic ones" I said. Flagon nodded, "Ok then, continue. How did the 'Clash of Titans' started?" He asked. I began to remember what Mrs, Julie said. She was my history teacher, and she was one of the students' favorite teachers in the school because she's nice
"The stage for this important battle was set after the youngest Titan, Cronus, overthrew his own father, Uranus, with the help of his mother, Gaia. Why? Well, everyone wants power you know? Including god but this reason is extremely stupid" I explained. Isabel, from the looks of it, was trying to imagine a battle between gods in her mind when her face paled greatly of color
"Isabel? You ok?" I asked. She nodded before saying, "Battle between gods... Huh, we do have an easier opponent..." I shrugged as I continued on, "Uranus drew the enmity of Gaia when he imprisoned her children the Hecatonchires and Cyclopes in Tartarus. Gaia created a great sickle and gathered together Cronus and his brothers to convince them to castrate Uranus. Only Cronus was willing to do the deed, so Gaia gave him the sickle and placed him in ambush" Flagon raised his hand
"Hold on there, so Gaia is pissed because her kids got locked up in this place called Tartarus by her own husband. What did they do to get locked up?" He asked. I tried to remember what they did, then it hit me like Naruto hitting a giant Rasenshuriken at Kakuzu, "Oh yeah, what they did was nothing. When Uranus saw them when Gaia gave birth to them, they were hideous babies as their name means the 'Hundred-Handed Ones' and "One Eyed One" as in they literally have 100 hands, and a single eye. They just got there into Tatarus"
Flagon twitched his eyes as Farlan face palmed, they thought god would accept anything they get. It seemed they were wrong, "Racism! That's just like me and Farlan with the MPs!" Isabel said as I nodded, "I know, it's pretty stupid. So, on with the story... When Uranus met with Gaia, Cronus attacked Uranus, and, with the sickle, cut off his genitals, casting them into the sea-" , "WHAT!?" I looked at them as they had "WTF faces" on their, well, faces
"H-h-his... G-g-genitals?" Farlan squeaked out as the boys had a very uncomfortable feeling in their pants, "Yep. In doing so, he became the King of the Titans. Just by cutting a guy's balls" Isabel had to laugh at that part as I too laughed a bit before continuing
"But before he fell, Uranus made a prophecy that Cronus's own children would rebel against his rule, just as Cronus had rebelled against his own father. Uranus' blood that had spilled upon the earth, gave rise to the Gigantes, Erinyes, and Meliae. From his semen or blood of his cut genitalia, Aphrodite arose from the sea. It goes:

"Cronus took his father's throne after dispatching Uranus. He then secured his power by re-imprisoning his siblings the Hecatonchires and Cyclopes in Tartarus. Cronus, paranoid and fearing the end of his rule, now turned into the terrible king his father Uranus had been, swallowing each of his children whole as they were born from his sister-wife Rhea"
"Um... What's a sister-wife?" Asked Isabel, "It's... Imagine you have a sister, blood related... And you're marrying her" Farlan was drinking some water when he suddenly spits it out, and thank god he look away from everyone when he did that, "Incest!? That thing's... Disturbing!" He said, "I know, some are still going in even in this world" Flagon said before Fliegen continued again, "Not to mention it can cause miscarriages for the babies as it alters the DNA of the fetus... Anyway-" I continued
"Rhea, however, managed to hide her youngest child Zeus, by tricking Cronus into swallowing a rock wrapped in a blanket instead. Rhea brought Zeus to a cave in Crete, where he was raised by Amalthea. Upon reaching adulthood, he masqueraded as Cronus' cupbearer. Once Zeus had been established as a servant of Cronus, Metis gave him a mixture of mustard and wine which would cause Cronus to vomit up his swallowed children. After freeing his siblings, Zeus led them in rebellion against the Titans. That's when the 'Clash of Titans' all started"
Everyone gave out a long sigh, "That was... Pretty deep, you know. I thank god the Titans here are humans now. If we ever fight real Titans then we'll be fucked up pretty badly..." Flagon said as I could only nod, "That is all true, my friend. That's all true, and that ends our history lesson"
"So that's why you wanted to 12 Titan statues to protect us... But how exactly are they going to again?" Farlan asked. What we need is magic to control them, so a Magi would be suffice to control them, "As I told you, a Magi will do it but it will take a lot out of me as my limit is only three people. I've already summoned 2 and it's already putting a strain on me" I explained, feeling a little woozy myself
"Maybe it's best if you rest for today. Tomorrow, you can summon me or old man Hagoromo to help with the island. It's already sunset anyway" Naruto suggested. I nodded my head, it seemed plausible judging from the current situation. It's best if I rest today and continue tomorrow, "Alright then, I'll rest for today and... -yawn- built it tom-" before I even finished my sentence, all I saw was pitch black before slipping into the unconsciousness world
