I fell asleep on the couch reading my copy of "Daring Do and the Curse of Sombra's Horn." I woke up to banging on my door I opened it to see Cherry. "Hey Cherry! Is it already that time." "SHHH SHUT UP!" she had tears in her eyes. "This morning these…..these jerks came in right after Lime had showed up. They yelled at her at told her to go with them. She refused No after no she seemed scarred, but stood her ground my friends came out to help, but one of the stallions there had a sword or something and slashed them back finally the mare there she was a unicorn took lime. I couldn't do anything….." I stood there my breathing got heavy I kept my calm although a bit frantic due to the fact one of my many best friends had just been kidnapped because she looked like some royal grassy pony. "Where did they go? Listen we need to call the royal guard or the royal police or something." "Chip we gotta save her!" "How!? We don't know who those ponies were or where they went." I was with her, but we had to think logically. "Chip…..we gotta." Cherry stared at me she wanted my help, but how was I suppose to. I guess I could soar over the area they probably hadn't reached the city limit yet. "gaw….ok Cherry I'll scour the city from the sky you contact friends see if they can help." Before she could even say a word, I had launched up and into the sky to see what I could find.
I flew around watching for anything suspicious. It felt good to be in the sky, soaring over the sky looking down on the flightless. The cool breeze was soothing as my mane flowed with it. I really wanted to enjoy it, but I had to find Lime. I landed on a cloud looking for something…..something that would lead me to Lime. I thought about it a little. They wouldn't leave by hoof. They'd be easily tracked they'd have to leave by…" I heard a train whistle I looked from the cloud to see a group of ponies boarding a train, one had a burlap sack over her head. "Lime!" I got ready to take off when I saw a officer try and stop the group the unicorn in front turned her head and magic shot from her horn decapitating the officer. "Oh my Faust…." I shook off the fear that clattered through my body and shot off.
The train had started moving I tried to silently land, but the speed at which the train was moving at was super fast. If I slowed down I'd miss the train. I slammed into the roof and soon two other pegasi were there to greet me. "Sorry sir." "Trains full." I growled with anger. "Give Lime back." One of the pegasi laughed. "Who's lime" "The mare you kidnapped." I heard a step behind me and there stood the unicorn. "Sorry sweetheart, but we don't need any hero's here today." It felt like slow motion as I saw a spark shoot through her horn. "The spell." The flash shot out, I attempted to sidestep but I was grazed across the side of the body. I hit the roof of the car using one hoof to cover my wound. The pain made everything look hazy. I could barely see as the Unicorn sat next to me with her head tilted.
"How you were able to dodge that I don't know. It pains me to do this to such a stallion buttttttt" She kicked me off the car I fell of rolling upon the ground. I slammed against rocks and rolling over a dead bush. I felt blood gushing from my wound. My wing broken pretty bad I laid on my back starring at the dark rain clouds which had began to cry with me. I had it. If I had just moved a second before, If I had landed softer. There were so many things I could have done to save myself from the pain and more importantly saved lime from what may happen to her. My vision began to fade as Cherry and some other ponies galloped towards me eventually I blacked out.
