"This is not what we discussed!" an observant floated in front of the time master, blocking his view of the various mirrors that held snippets of the time stream in all dimensions connected to his flow of time. Clockwork just shrugged.
"You observant's always look but never see. I sent the boy away as agreed, and he will not interfere with the ghost zone as long as he is there." The time ghost wore a smug smile, a few weeks ago he was approached by the ants-up-my-pants *cough cough* observants- and again they demanded that he disposed of earth's greatest hero.
"You know as well as we do that if he is not taken care of, peril will befall the ghost zone!" a crowd of ghost murmured agreeing with what was being said. "We cannot let this go on any farther. Bring in the hunter."
A sea of one eyed ghost split and a heavily guarded ghost was brought in front of the council, he had heavy metal handcuffs covering his entire body, and one might laugh at his size but with the security around him it was safe to assume that he was very dangerous.
"This is the ghost Skulker?" an observant asked, the ghosts on guard all nodded wearily looking at the dull amour a few feet away. If the prisoner escaped they would not be able to stop him from using his suit. The prisoner struggled in his confines before glaring up at the one-eyed ghost council and spat at them in disgust. No one in the zone liked the observants very much.
"Quiet you! We must act quickly if we want to proceed with this…..delicate extermination" Skulker was back handed and his little body flew to the ends of the restraints and hung limply before the guards set him on a platform.
"We have a proposition for you mechanical one, we will make sure your record is wiped clean if you will hunt the young halfa and kill him!" a menacing smile spread over the diminished ghost.
"You have a deal."
Last time on the new girl:
"R-Robin, Kid flash, Superboy? What are you doing here?" the boys looked up into the blue eyes of a surprised Danny.
All three got up immediately and ran to Danny, Aqualad rounded the corner just then and was the only one to notice a squished Harley that looked very much like a cartoon animated bug, complete with swirls in her eyes and little birds flying around her head. He shrugged it off before walking over to the group excitedly talking to Danny.
"How did you get out?"
"Are you okay?"
"What did the Joker do?"
"What heck happened?"
Danny held up her hands to stop the tirade of questions aimed at her. "In order? I cut my way out of ropes and made friends with Harley, yes I am okay, Joker beat me but not too bad and then left the place, and lastly and I was kidnapped, where were you when this happened? Under a rock?" She finished sarcastically. "Now if we are done with questions I would like to help my friend, who you squished running around the corner."
"HARLEY!?" Robin and KF said when they turned around. Their eyes bugging out when they saw her figure still on the floor, it didn't look like she would be moving for a bit.
"But she's with the Joker!" they said in unison, before briefly glaring at each other for copying what the other was saying. Danny walked to Harley and helped her up.
"WAS." Danny said, only to be faced with 4 confused faces. Seriously? She sighed she said again, "She WAS with Joker, but he wasn't treating her right. Ignoring her, looking at others," at this Danny shuddered, she still didn't remember what he said to her when she was nearly passed out in pain, but the way he called her Doll afterwards was enough to chill her (and she has an ice-core). She had no doubt that if she didn't get out of there when she did, she would not like what happened next. "Anyway, now Harley is teaming with us, everyone deserves a second chance."
Danny looped Harleys arm around her shoulders and started walking to the door, when she realized that the boys weren't moving (except for Superboy) she looked back at the three stunned apprentices. "Are you coming or not? I don't want another beating session with crazy clown man."
Whatever stupor they were in, they shook out of it at Danny's question and slowly followed after casting glances at the still dizzy Harley.
Leadership out of the abandoned warehouse (they told her it was a warehouse) changed, mostly because Danny didn't know the way without Harley. Danny looked around the warehouse, though old and moldy in places, was sturdy and looked like it had visitors a lot. There wasn't a speck of dust in the place. It was strange that something like this would happen, usually if one wanted to go for the abandoned feeling they wouldn't ….. Clean….. The place…unless.
"IT'S A TRAP! RUN!" Danny screamed. She pushed past the startled partners and ran towards the nearest window. The others ran forward too and scrambled to get out, they ran a few steps away from the building when they were pushed forward by a hot blast as they were momentarily made deaf from the sound of the building exploding.
They all landed in a pile about 10 yards away from the blast site Harley was on bottom and she had gained enough wit when she was pushed out of the window to wonder what was going on, then that horrible blast. The hot air, and a nice chilling sensation passed when she understood that Joker was planning to kill every one…. Including her. Before she passed out again under the weight of the team.
Robin was next in the pile having grabbed Harley as he ran and then it was Kid Flash who had a hard time getting out of the window, Aqualad and then Superboy. Danny due to her hero complex jumped out last and used her ice powers to keep the heat wave away from the others and preventing any lethal burns on anyone. Slowly they all looked back to the now burning decrepit building, shock hit them hard when they realized they almost died. (Except for Danny cause she is already half dead.)
Danny stood up slowly, she was still feeling sore from the beating Joker gave her and now she had small burns on her neck and calves since her clothing didn't protect those parts from the blast but she should start healing soon.
"How did you know it was going to blow?" the amount of awe in Superboy's voice was thinly concealed by the shock still going through his system.
"It was too clean, for an old abandoned warehouse it didn't have any dust on the floor or the doors." Danny said
"But the floors could have been swept to prevent escape" Robin retorted just for arguments sake. Seeing as it was confusing to get around in the place as is.
"That doesn't explain the fact that there wasn't dust on the doors or anywhere else. The only time something is that clean, is when something is being hidden, especially if it's in an abandoned warehouses that are supposed to look like nothing suspicious is happening. By the way how did you find me?"
"Technically I was the one who found you, he just hacked my systems." Nearly all of the teens jumped in surprise as Batman's deep voice interjected. Behind him was the Justice women that fought over Danny, Green Arrow, Aquaman, Superman and Flash.
"Well then, good to know." Danny said as she rubbed the back of her neck. Batman walked up to Danny. "Now we have a few questions I want answered. The first: what is your real name? I've searched the entire database at the watch tower and the bat cave and no 'Danny Fenton' appeared. Who are you?" He growled as he looked into Danny's blue eyes, which blinked… and blinked again… before Danny burst out laughing.
Everyone stood gob smacked, she not only resisted the bat glare but now that she is being interrogated she was laughing? Why? Her laughter echoed for a full minute before she wiped her eyes of the unshed tears of mirth, finally calming down.
"Sorry, sorry." She said still regaining her composer. "Of course I am not in your data bases, I'm not from here." She shrugged her shoulders as if to say it was not unusual to not be in the Bat's radar.
"Not from here as in…?" Robin questioned, Danny was still smiling and turned to the bird causing him to blush.
"Not from here as in not from this dimension. Where I am from the zone of the dead is connected to the human world through a portal, which my parents man-made. Most of the time, natural random portals open in the zone and those lead to any time, place or dimension though sometimes those portals open in the human world. I went through one on accident and it closed before I could go back. Now I am stuck until either another portal opens or I am lucky enough to find it before it closes or my friends us the map of all portals to get me. But I doubt that would happen since I was alone when I went through the portal so no one knows where I would have gone." After Danny's long winded explanation, silence reigned until Wonder woman stepped forward.
"Little sister, how often do the portals of your world open here? No one should be without their home." She looked worried but Danny just shrugged.
"It depends on how closely related our two dimensions are to each other, the closer the more often they open. But seeing as my world doesn't have a justice league, superheroes, sidekicks, aliens, or orbiting HQ's. I would say that another portal won't open for a long time." Looks of sympathy were pointed to Danny. Even Batman seemed less tense than usual, that's as close as he got to show any emotion. Again Danny just shrugged.
"It's not that bad, at least here I'm not hounded by news crews outside my door."
"Whoa, you were famous?" Kid Flash asked "Cool! What were you famous for?" by now Danny was surrounded by all of the sidekicks.
"Uh, my idea saved the world from being crushed by a disatroid."
"Cool!"
"Wow"
"No way!"
A deep cough stopped any more conversation. Batman stood with the other hero's and glared at them until they all quieted down. "We will be meeting in two days at the Happy Harbor docks, north side, I will contact you with further details later. Danny you will go with Wonder Woman. Are there any questions?" silence. "Good, Robin come."
With that the Dark Knight and his apprentice disappeared.
After everyone split up Wonder Woman took Danny into a space craft, it would be a lie to say that Danny wasn't excited to be in one. She wondered if they were going to the HQ but her hopes were quickly dashed when Wonder woman turned the vessel to the sea.
"Don't worry little sister, we are headed to my homeland. The island of the Amazons, Themyscira."
Danny just nodded and slid a little farther into her seat, she didn't really know why she didn't tell the others about her powers. Closing her eyes, Danny began to ponder about the consequences of her actions. Maybe she should do some solo work later just to see how well her power measured up to this dimension. Somewhere in her musings Danny fell asleep, Wonder woman who had been quiet at this point looked over and frowned.
She could barely be away from her mother for a month before she got irritated and homesick, she didn't know how she managed to stay away for 3 when she first joined the league. The little sister Danny might never be able to go home again. Diana felt a stab in her chest, and her resolve hardened. She would be someone Danny could come to no matter what! She would be her support. Hands gripping the console a little tighter she picked up the pace to her home.
Robin followed after Batman quietly, they got to the cave in record time and Batman immediately walked up to the super computer.
"Computer. Scan." He dropped what looked like dark green (almost blackish red) blood into the scanner. Silence reigned through the cave as robin wondered when Batman managed to get DNA off Danny. He was about to ask when the computer let out shrill beeps and sirens on the screen it showed a large warning sign in red block letters before a short bio popped up.

Robin stared at the computer, most of what was said on the computer was correct but how could Danny be both alive and dead? It's not possible. Batman just scowled and walked to his safe, the one that held the kryptonite safe from hands that might use it against the league. He grabbed the smallest chunk and put it into the computer next to the blood sample. It took longer but eventually the results blinking from the screen had both the bat members stunned.

Results: kryptonite dissolved when put within the blood tissue, when put within the blood plasma, kryptonite effect doubled.
What was Danny?
Flash watched as Kid flash tried to keep the vessel that had his new friend in sight as long as possible. A grin spread its way across his face, it looked like junior had a crush. He could almost picture himself in his apprentice's shoes. The first time he met Iris he acted very much the same. When the ship finally was out of sight his nephew turned, and promptly blushed when he realized the grin on his mentor's face.
"You like her!" Flash said, it was no secret to him that his nephew was following his footsteps in more ways than one. They both searched for the one and only but that didn't mean you couldn't have fun on the way.
"Wha-! No! No I don't." even Kid Flash's mask couldn't hide the blush that was working his way up to his ears. The denial just made Barry smile wider. Wally was in love!
Danny woke up to light shaking of her shoulder. It seemed that they landed. "come little sister, its time you met the Amazons"
