Visions

"How was it?" Frobisher-Smythe looked up from his book that he must have gotten when I had my vision.

"Horrible Fabian's hurt and in danger. He's locked in some hell with a beast."

"Robert you have to understand that what you saw wasn't real, or at least isn't real yet."

"The how do I change it?"

"Well since this was your first purposeful vision, it's not very likely if not improbable."

"Still I don't want that to happen to anyone let alone someone who I care about deeply."

"Then you need to train. I think that one is good for today don't you. Now go do whatever it is that children today do."

I ran to my room and grabbed my phone and immediately called Fabian.

"Hey Robert. I have been missing you so much." Fabian's voice said as it was carried though our phones.

"I've been missing you too babe. I need to ask what are you doing?"

"You know the usual writing a new song. Oh Eddie just walked in. Do you wanna say hi?"

"Sure."

After a few seconds of two faint voices coming from the phone, Eddie's voice filled my ear. "Hey Robert. We've been missing you man, well Nina and Fabian mostly. I, however, enjoy having a double again. But honestly, Fabian's going crazy without you, his always in here writing that song of his that no one's seen or heard yet, it better be the best song ever considering the amount of sleep that I been losing cuz of him playing all night long."

"Well at least you're lucky to talk to people. Frobisher-Smythe's always busy or not in the house. And the red headed driver, she barely talks and its only if Frobisher-Smythe wants something."

"That sucks man. But at least you're learning how to control your powers, Nina and I are on our own here."

"Speaking of that, I had a vision today about Fabian. Long story short, he was in trouble, can you watch out for him?"

"Sure I can keep the bf safe. Keep him under my wing and such."

"Thanks, Eddie. Can I speak to Fabian now?"

"Maybe it's for the best; he's giving me a death glare. Too bad you can't see it, he's really cute right now. Like when a puppy wants something but you tell it no."

Again a few seconds later and Fabian got on the phone again.

It was hours before, there was a knock on the door and Sarah walked in to tell me dinner was ready. I hung up my phone and say it was almost eight.

During dinner, like always Frobisher-Smythe was reading another book, but this time when I sat down, he looked up and began to tell me more about the Seer's powers. They seemed to range from pointless visions to near god like depending on the need and place. He basically hinted at the fact that the Chosen One's power is to fight, the Osirian's is to protect and the Seer's is to heal.

After the dinner, he retired to his chambers, as he called them, and I was left to myself. I took this time to walk around the house. However this time I went into a hallway that I had never been down before, as the door to it was always locked. The hallway was like every other hallway in the house, a white wool rug that was clearly covered in a fine layer of dust, as well as four doors on each side of the hall. I tried to open each door but they had been locked as I was nearing the end of the hall, I noticed a tapestry depicting a great battle over an ash grey field between an army of something red and something black over a starry sky without a moon or a sun. As I looked at it more deeply the tapestry slowly began to flow as if wind was plowing on it. I left it up to revival a secret black ironwood door. I tried to open it but just like every other door in the hallway it was locked, until my eye of Horus necklace began to glow its sapphire blue and I could hear the door be unlocked.

I push open the door to see a dark elevator. I walk into it and see two buttons one saying "Two" and the other "-Two". I push the "-Two" button and slowly am brought down underground to a tunnel and as I step into the tunnel my necklace again glows. The tunnel is light by a blue flame.

I walk the length of the tunnel to another door; this one is of heavy iron with a layer of rust on it. I try to turn the lock by once again the door is locked. I put on necklace on the door but nothing happens and I hear along hiss that cuts through the air bringing a deep chill to my bones and a shadow racing turns me. But the shadow stops when I lift my hand and a golden light erupts from it and Ra's voice speaks though me. "LEAVE NOW THIS PLACE IS PROTECTED."

I fall onto the dirt covered tunnel and drift into a deep sleep …
