The Injured Treecko

The girl walked through the silent forest clutching her dagger, ready for any danger that may come. She had been through this forest many times with her father, but only a couple of times alone. It was different every time though. Her father had told her that Tree Shroud forest had once been a mystery dungeon. She also knew that in a mystery dungeon it was never the same dungeon twice. If you were in it once, then left and came back a few minutes later it would be completely different. The only things that didn't change were the wild Pokémon that could be found and the type of dungeon. She chuckled a bit, imagine if you left the forest only to come back and find that it was a desert. She pictured it in head and laughed some more that would be weird.

She stopped gripping her dagger and relaxed as she rummaged through her bag and pulled out a map. It was another present her father had given her. It was called a Wonder Map. She had always thought it was called that because it was such a wonderful item to have and useful. As you walk through a dungeon, where you're walking will appear on the map. It's much easier to leave a dungeon than to enter one, but that was in the past. Now because time has frozen dungeons don't change anymore. Her father didn't need the Wonder Map anymore because he had memorized the maze that is Tree Shroud Forest. According to that map she was nearing the fruit and berry trees now after walking for about an hour she guessed.

The girl came into a small circular clearing that had apple trees around the edges that were filled with apples. There were also some berry bushes and trees. "Let's see there are some Oran berries, Pecha berries and some Rawst berries. She went over to each bush and picked about half a dozen of each making sure to leave some for anyone else that might need them. "Never take more than you need" she remembered what her father had told her once in this very clearing. After picking the berries she walked over to the apple trees picking a few apples from each tree until she had picked a dozen or so. She walked over to the smallest apple tree and picked one apple then sat down and ate it.

After she had finished her apple she took the shrivelled berries out of her bag's pocket and scattered them around the clearing. Some Rattata could eat them or with a bit of luck they might grow into bushes themselves even though time had stopped. She left the clearing quickly as she was getting quite tired after being out so long. She walked for another hour and was almost out of the forest when she stumbled over a rock and fell face first on the ground. She pushed herself up with arms into a sitting position and rubbed her saw nose. Perhaps she should use the escape orb but she decided against it. She was nearly out of the forest anyway and her cave wasn't far from there.

She looked over her shoulder to see the rock that had tripped her was a green and red colour. She got up and walked over to get a better look. As she walked closer she let out a gasp of surprise "That's not a rock it's a Pokémon". It was not only green and red from the colour of its skin but also because it had a series of cuts all over its body some still trickling with blood. The girl ran the rest of distance between her and the Pokémon. On closer inspection she knew that the Pokémon was a Treecko and a badly wounded one of that. She took off her satchel and pulled out the Reviver seed she had placed in it that morning.

She looked at the small red R that was on the seed then placed it in the Treecko's mouth and rubbed his throat. He swallowed the seed and his wounds began to glow with a sparkling white light. Some of the smallest wounds healed up completely and the bigger ones got a bit smaller and stopped bleeding. The girl sighed a relieved sigh and took off her jacket and placed the Treecko in it gently. Then took him up in her arms and put the strap of her satchel back on her shoulder before running out of the woods. The girl burst out of the forest and sprinted back to the cave with the Treecko in her arms.
