Chapter 03.

The veil placed over my eye started to disintegrate and I was left all alone in this desolate and cruel cruel world to face the truth. When all along it was in front of me… Kiyo… I'm sorry.
The truth.
After Kikyo cried herself to sleep on Rins' lap she carefully placed her head on the couch and stood.
'Man! Kiyo-Chins head is soooo heavy' Rin groaned as she stretched up high on her tippy toes. Looking around she started searching for something to do, but seeing the predicament she was in she wanted to avoid running into Takumi at any moment. Knowing him he'd probably be searching up and for her as we speak and in a raging fit.
Rin shivered, as her hands dropped by her side. He was definitely talking about her right now! At the same moment her phone went off.
Sometimes we fall apart

Rushing over to her backpack and almost tripping along the way Rin made it just in time before Kiyo could be woken. Putting it on silent mode, she looked at the screen only to scoff. The number was saved as 'Takuuuuumi the Akuma!' Her grey eyes shifted as she bit down on her lips.
'Should I answer?'
Placing her hand on her on her hips she let out a sigh before sliding the green call button on her iPhone.
"Rina…" The husky deep voice said through the phone.
Rin who had the phone to her ear now gave a wince.
"He-Hello?" She stuttered through the line. She shifted on her foot to prepare herself for his demands. The thing about Takumi was he never yelled. Ever. but his cold voice and intimidating presence got his points across and that was really that.
"I'm giving you a good 3 minutes to tell me where you're at, and where I can fetch you." He continued.
Rin stiffered, her eyes narrowed and immediately she was pissed. "Takumi I didn't know I was such a burden. Don't ever fucking tell me you needa fetch me! I ain't a dog you hear me!" She hissed. Tears started welling up in her eyes and her breathing started to pick up.
"You think your all holier than thou because your my older brother?! You never defend me! Always that slu-"
"RINA! Don't you ever call her out her name!" Takumi yelled over the line, he was pissed now. Breathing hard over the line.
Rin gave a scoff wiping her tears roughly from her cheeks "I see now…. Takumi just do me a damn favor and don't call me again! Sometimes… sometimes I really hate having you as my sibling!" she yelled through the phone.
Rins cheeks were a splotchy red color and she could hear her heart thundering within in her chest. For a moment she faltered.
Takumi was silent over the line before he gave a sigh "I see… Where are you right now?" he asked.
Rin shook her voice cracking before she scoffed "I bet you'd love to know wouldn't you!" she accused before taking a deep breath.
"Rina… I-I…" he started before the line became all quiet again.
Rin rolled her eyes, before running her hands over her red bathrobe. She was starting to get ashy and she didn't want to spend all her time with Takumi if she knew this would just happen again. But she didn't want to get Kikyo into trouble… Her and Takumis' history was too heartbreaking.
Biting her lips, she ran a hand through her damp hair.
Takumi was obviously getting fed up because he scoffed "You can either tell me or I'll just fucking track you simple as that."
Rin laughed "Good luck! You ass, you think I'm that stupid. Plus, it doesn't matter if you find me or not I'm not leaving with you. EVER AGAIN. You hear me? No let me repeat it one more time. EVER AGAIN!" she hissed.
Now it was Takumis' turn to laugh "We'll see about that."
"Fuck you and you're whore, Takumi your seriously dead to me. No wonder Kiyo-Chin left you, your so self-centered and its disgusting." She angrily said.
"What did you just say?!" Takumi yelled. Kikyo was obviously a very sensitive subject, a very sore spot. "You think your grown huh?" He continued on cussing up a storm and insulting her, calling her out her name and whatnot.
Tears started running down at a fast pace. "Yeah well I don't care! I hate you! That's why I'm staying with Kiyo-Chin! You-you dumby ass! I hate you Takumi! I hate you so much!" She sobbed before throwing her phone away.
She roughly slid to the ground and placed her head between her knees and sobbed. He was soooo mean! All she wanted was for him to defend her against his conniving "girlfriend" she didn't even love him! She loved his fame and fortune. But, Takumi was so damn blind and it was infuriating.
Rin was suddenly pulled up from her spot on the ground and she looked up to find Kikyo staring down at her. Rins' filled with more tears and her lips wobbled "K-kiyo…" she cried out before launching into her arms. "H-he said he hates me! And that I was the biggest regret in h-his life!" she sobbed.
Kikyo combed her fingers through Rins' hair and caressed her back. "I'm sure he didn't mean it Rina. Stop crying Rinny." she cooed. Her own violet eyes swimming. Takumi could be such a dick.
Rin shook but gave a nod, pulling away she wiped her eyes. "I just wanted for him to defend me Kiyo. He never does all that damn girl!" She brokenly said.
Kikyo wilted "W-what girl?" Rin looked Kikyo in the eye, Kikyo looked so crushed. Rin took a hold of her arms and looked into her violet eyes. "Kikyo, Takumis' new girlfriend Kagura is milking him of this money. She doesn't love him! But I know you do, you've always loved him Kikyo, I see it in your eyes, the way you smiled when we talk about him, when you look at him, when you guys spoke about marri-"
"But does he love me?" Kikyo cried out. Rin stood silent. Kikyo gave a teary laugh before looking down as the tear hit the carpeted floor. "He doesn't does he?" She choked out. Gently pulling off Rins hands that were holding onto her, she turned on her heels.
"Rina, I'm going out for bit… Lock up if your gonna be going out." She mumbled, before walking to the couch and digging through her purse and tossing the keys on her couch.
She turned one last time and gave a smile before rushing out the door.

I was just re-visiting old work and then I had an urge to write and so I wrote.
