Kakashi was bored

Kakashi was bored. A year and a half his best friend was off on a mission. Meanwhile, she missed a lot. The third was killed. Sasuke defected. Ohhh when she returned it was going to be quite the game of catch-up.

Tsunade was trying to get people's spirits up so she decided to host a party. One where all ninja's and civilians of the village were invited. Kakashi had to say, it was working. People were so busy trying to figure out what they were going to wear that their minds were taken off of all the destruction that had happened in the past few months.

Kakashi wasn't really into the whole getting 'dressed up' thing so, of course, he offered to patrol the whole night. Tsunade said he wasn't going to do it all night… which really annoyed him. ANBU squad 1 also offered their services for the entire night, but once again, Tsunade said no. ANBU squad too was also getting depressed. Where as Vicky was Kakashi's best friend (ok, only friend), Vicky was also the ANBU captain. Basically, the third gave her the position once he was re-instated as Hokage. According to him, ANBU needed to have some structure and Vicky was the one to give it to them. All ANBU answered to her. At first, they were pissed. A woman leading them? No. Sorry wasn't gonna happen. And they made sure she knew that.

The first few months, Vicky's life consisted of pranks and bickering with the ANBU squad but, once she beat every single one of them into pulp, they understood why she was chosen. She picked 6 of the best ANBU ninja's and formed a team, Team 1. They were the highest ranked in the village. At the current moment, they were sitting in a booth by themselves, thinking gallons of booze at a time.

Kakashi had to say, the venue Tsunade set up for the party was great. Huge ballroom. Huge staircase in which all the guest came down. To the right side of the staircase, was a bar, and the dance floor. To the left, was tables. And along the walls were booths. Yep, it looked great.

But Kakashi felt like something was missing. No, someone was missing. And he knew who. He couldn't dwell on that seeing as which Guy had permanently attached himself to Kakashi. Oh he was going to be needing a drink soon.

A couple hours into the party and everything was going great. Everyone was having fun. And all of a sudden, ANBU team 1, all filed out of the booth in which they were drinking their sorrows away and began bolting up the Grande staircase. Was there an attack? No… couldn't have been. And then Kakashi saw why. In the middle of the 6 men, was a woman. A woman with long black hair. Vicky. She was home. All Kakashi could think about was how amazing she looked. Her hair of course was a lot longer than when he last saw her. She was wearing the most amazing dress he had ever seen in his life… perhaps because it was on her… I was all black, with sequins all over it. Very short. Long sleeves and then, whist one of the ANBU members was picking her up, she saw her back, the dress had no backing. Gorgeous.

Kakashi didn't realize he had been staring until Guy very pointedly closed Kakashi's mouth. Team 1 and Vicky were slowly making their way down the staircase, which was very difficult and taking along time seeing as which the men all felt the need to hug her on every step. "stop hogging" is all Kakashi could seem to muster up.

In what seemed like hour, the y7 of them finally made it to the bottom of the stairs. At that moment, the light dimmed and the music slowed down. "Time for a slow dance ladies and gentlemen" the DJ announced.

Kakashi then felt an elbow meet his ribs, "Go!", it was Guy

Kakashi made his way over to Vicky and she broke loose from her squad to go give Kakashi a hug. "You look great Kakashi! I missed you"

"Wanna dance?" he asked.

"Of course!"

Kakashi led Vicky to the dance floor, wrapped one hand around her waist and took one of her hands in the other. "So, took you long enough Vic."

"Very funny bozo. If it was any other ninja, the mission would have taken A LOT longer. So qiet!"

"Fine… Ill be quiet… for now." With that, he pulled her closer. They were so close, Vicky could smell his cologne. She missed it. And then she did it. She buried her face in his neck. At first she felt him stiffen up but almost as quickly he soon relaxed. They were there for what felt like hours. Obviously she wasn't thinking at the moment, she started to nibble on his neck. He didn't pull away. Infact, he pressed his forehead on hers. Their noses were touching. Their lips were so close. And then he leaned in, and took her bottom lip into his mouth. Her eyes fluttered shut. They continued for a few moments with tiny kisses, when Kakashi began to push her towards the staircase. Soon, they were outside and began making their way towards Vicky's house, which was closer.

When they reached her doorstep, he pressed her firmly against her door and started sucking on her neck. Vicky brought his face back up to hers and brought his lips to hers. Kakashi once again took the lead and slowly, their kisses evolved. Evolved into something more. His tongue danced with hers which earned a moan from her. His hands were all over her. Her hands lowered to his vest and began working on the zipper.

Then, Kakashi stiffened up. "Are you coming inside, or are we gonna give the village a show Kakashi?" she looked up at him, and right away felt like someone kicked her in the gut. The same look. The same look in his eyes that she received from him years ago. The look she got seconds before he booted her out of his house. "Kakashi? Please… just please…" at this point, she was close to sobbing. She looked up at him, tears filling her eyes. "Please… you need to. You need to come in. Please." She was at the begging point. And she wasn't afraid to do it. It was time. She needed him. She couldn't just be his friend anymore. "Kakashi?"

"You should get to bed. This was a mistake. Goodnight Vicky." And with that, he was gone. Vicky was alone on her doorstep, on the verge of a breakdown because, once again, Kakashi had pushed her away. Numbly, she opened her front door and closed it behind her. She slid down against it until she was on her floor. And cried. Just cried.
