Chapter 3: Ninth Makes Her Move!

(A/N: Apologies for not updating this, I've been so focused on other projects...that I get overwhelmed with the thing that happen in each scenario. Life of a fanfiction writer. So this is where I bring in Minene Uryuu. This is one hardcore chick but Jason can be more hardcore than she. Well, here's the next chapter!)

I was zoning myself preparing for the worst that might happen. I had an AK47 in my hands, I don't know why...but, when it comes to me and guns...I have a sense of safety if I have one in my hands. I have taken many lives with my hands. And I bet I'll be taking more lives when it comes to this Battle Royale for Deus' throne. A group of terrorists came into the shipyard armed and with the intent to kill.

"Where is Jason Brody?" One of the masked men asked, he pointed a gun straight at one of the dock workers.

"I don't know what you're talking about." The dock worker said, but the masked man didn't know that I was stalking him from the shadows.

I had my gun focused on the terrorist, I had to make sure that he wasn't going to harm this man. If he kills this man, then I'm taking his life in return. Just then a girl with pig tails and a white dress showed up, it was one of the terrorists that the news was talking about, Minenene Uryuu.

"Have we found him yet?" She asked, the terrorist shook his head.

"We haven't heard anything but we know he's around here somewhere." The terrorist said, I then pulled out my diary and took a look at it.

-[10:03 Stabbed a terrorist with a machete and dragged his corpse into darkess so no one can find him.]-

It was 10:00 so I needed to get into position so I can take him out. As soon as I hid in the shadows, I needed to make sure that Minenene wasn't going to find me and I could be good enough to take out people without raising the alarm. Now I need to wait for the perfect opportunity, as soon as one terrorist came around the corner. I threw a rock and made him come closer, as soon as he was in takedown position...I popped out of the shadows and stabbed him with my machete and dragged him into the shadows like a boogeyman.

"I know you're around here Brody, come on out so I can kill you!" Minenene yelled, but I pulled out a butterfly knife and I was going to take something of her's.

She was using some landmines to get me into a closed space. But I wised up by using an enhanced preception syringe. This gave me the ability to sense where explosives were set. I have the upperhand, and this chick doesn't even know I'm hunting her. She came into the shadows looking for me, I was stalking her like a preadator. As soon as she noticed that I was closing in on her, it was too late. I used the butterfly knife and took Minenene's left eye. But I wasn't done with her yet. What was her end game?

"What the fuck are you trying to accomplish trying to kill innocent people and getting me involved?" I asked, But Minenene removed the butterfly knife from her left eye.

"You fucking bastard! You're going to pay for doing this to me!" Minenene cursed, I then pulled out a 1911 Colt .45 and had it pointed at her.

She then used a smoke bomb and made a hasty retreat. But I knew for a fact, that this was only the beginning. I'm willing to kill as many people as I can, but in able to do that...I need to be totally ruthless. And leave no mercy to my enemies. As soon as Minenene escaped, inspector Karasu appeared. I holstered the .45 and he told me that he was after Uryuu.

"I'm still searching for the motiviation why she's still hunting you is still beyond us." Karasu said, but it was clear that she was also a diary holder like me and Yuno.

I showed Karasu my combat diary and he showed me his. It turns out we were on the same boat. Deus definently wants us to fight to the death, but in this world, you gotta be careful of who you trust. And I sure as hell needed to be careful of who I trust.
