It was a beautiful summer day, but the funny thing is it wasn't summer. Sadly the girls had to get up and get dressed then head off to school. Well, all but one. Buttercup decided that she didn't care if it was the first day of school. She was tired and she was going to sleep.
"BUTTERCUP!" Blossom shouted up the stairs, but she heard nothing. Since it was so early in the morning, and Blossom didn't feel like walking or flying up the steps, she shouted louder. "BUTTERCUPPPPPP!" This time, she heard a loud thud. She smiled a victorious smile and went back into the kitchen to eat her breakfast with her sister Bubbles.
Meanwhile, up in Buttercup's room, she was searching for motivation to get up off of the floor and get dressed, but her search wasn't fruitful. So, she decided she would wait for Blossom to yell at her again, and then get up. She stayed on the floor looking at the wonderful ceiling for no reason until she heard a knock. Well, it wasn't a knock. It sounded like her door was about to come off its hinges. She smirked and tried to get out of the contraption called blankets. It was to no avail. She was stuck.
Blossom was beyond annoyed so instead of continuing to knock she opened the door and barged in.
"Buttercup, we are going to be late. What are you doing?" she stated after she saw her raven haired sister stuck in a mess on the floor. Blossom was wearing a white, 3-quarter length sleeved shirt tucked into a light pink skirt. She wore black 4-inch heels on her feet with a strap around the ankle.
"Well, I'm trying to get up. What are YOU doing?" She looked up at her sister with an annoyed look on her face while struggling to get out of her blankets. Blossom shook her head and walked over to the tough puff and helped her get out of the evil mass of blankets.
"Now hurry up and get ready. We are going to be late for school," Blossom stated while walking out of Buttercups room back downstairs.
"Oh no! We are going to be 25 minutes early! That is so late," Buttercup muttered under her breathe while she got dressed in her clothes. She wore a plain black v-neck shirt and denim shorts. She brushed her teeth and brushed her hair then went down stairs. Bubbles and Blossom were already done with breakfast and were waiting for Buttercup to come eat hers. When Buttercup walked into the kitchen, she surveyed the room. Seeing no ready food, she headed for the pantry, grabbed the cereal, then went and retrieved a bowl from the dishwasher. She poured some cereal in a bowl, grabbed a spoon, and headed for the front door.
"Where are you going?" Bubbles asked watching the girl leave the kitchen with her dry cereal. Bubbles was wearing light blue skinny jeans, a light blue, flowy shirt, and light brown combat boots.
"To school. Aren't we going to be late?" she questioned back as she put on her favorite converse and grabbed her backpack.
Blossom looked at the clock and freaked out. "She's right! We are going to be late!" She shot out of her chair, grabbed Bubbles, dragged her to the door, and left for school.
