Hey my fellow readers! As I promised, another chapter, it is up sooner than the last one was, just not as soon as I would like it, I have no excuse. Thanks for reading! Hope you like it!

Disclaimer: I don't own Maximum Ride or any of the characters, James Patterson does

Do you ever get the feeling that people are watching you? Well that's what I am feeling right now as I walk down the hallway, my fingers intertwined with Fangs.

I smile as Fang only seems to have lengthy conversations with me, and it makes me feel special.

"Hey guys!" Iggy bounced so that he was walking backwards in front of me and fang. "I have a plan," he lowered his voice to a whisper so only me and Fang could hear him. I looked at Fang and he just rolled his eyes. "I am going to put a stink bomb in the principal's office," he said grinning like a maniac. "Anyone want to help?" He asked us.

I looked over at Fang in horror. "Does he normally do this?" I asked him.

Fang just nodded at me, and then turned his attention back to Iggy. "I'm good man," He said. "Why don't you go ask Gazzy to help you, I'm sure he would love to."

Iggy nodded, mulling this information over. "That's what I am going to do!" he suddenly said. "Thanks Fang!" and before Fang could give a reply, skipped away to go find Gazzy.

"Um," I said clearing my throat. "Is this," I paused, choosing the right words in my head, "normal behavior for Iggy?"

"Yeah," Fang replied. "I'm surprised he hasn't been expelled. He does this at least once a week," Fang told me. "And the principal hates him, but his mom donates a lot of money to the school, and Mr. Richards would hate that to go away."

I nodded, taking this information in, "So Iggy could virtually get away with almost anything?"

Fang nodded again, "but none of the other students know, so I would suggest not telling them, Iggy would probably throw a hissy fit if his reputation were to get ruined."

I nodded again; I was doing a lot of this lately.

We stopped in front of our first period class; Fang holding the door open for me.

Once again, I felt a lot of eyes being trained on me. This is going to be a long day, I thought.

Third period came around and I plopped down in my seat. This class is one of the two that I don't have with Fang, and I have been dreading this class since school started.

A girl with bright red hair came up and sat next to me.

"Hi," she spoke, "I'm Lissa." She held out her hand to me, and I shook it, hesitantly.

It's not like I don't want to shake her hand, it's just that I don't know her, and I don't trust people that easily, never have, and most likely never will.

"Max," I said straight and to the point.

"So, um," she said coughing, "you're new here, right?"

I rolled my eyes, way to state the obvious I thought. "Yeah," I said.

"Well I just thought you would like to know that, well, Fang," She said, and I perked up at the mention of his name, "he is mine."

I stood up and glared at her, I could see her visibly gulp, "I'll tell you what Lissa." I said slowly, my voice low as the anger I had seeped into my pores. "Fang is not yours. I and only I have the right to call him mine. If you so much as look at him, I will find out where you sleep, and you will regret it."

She gulped, and right then, the teacher walked in the room and stood in front of the class, Lissa stood up.

"Is something wrong Lissa?" the teacher asked.

"No, Mrs. Moore, I was just moving to go sit next to Brigid, I accidently sat in the wrong seat." Lissa replied without a hitch.

"Ok," Mrs. Moore said, looking at Lissa suspiciously. "Move quickly, I need to get the lesson on quickly, we have a lot to do today."

"Yes Mrs. Moore," She replied, leaving the seat next to mine and sitting next to her friend.

"Hey," Fang said coming up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist, and kissing my neck. "How was third period?" He asked.

"It was," I paused, "Interesting." I finally settled on a word.

Fang cocked an eyebrow, silently telling me to go on.

"Well, you see, You have an admirer." I told him.

"Oh, I do?" He said.

I nodded, turning around in his embrace. I started playing with his collar. "Her name is Lissa." I told him, and instantly his smile turned into a scowl, and his eyes darkened with anger.

"did she give you any trouble?" he asked.

"None that I couldn't handle," I told him.

He smiled and kissed my lips, "This is why I love you." He told me, "You're not like all the other girls at this school."

I smiled and pulled his head back down to mine. "I love you too." I said as I pulled away.

"Hey Lovebirds!" Iggy yelled from the cafeteria table. "Come here and eat with us!"

I chuckled as I pulled Fang over to the table. I sat down next to him and started eating my packed lunch.

"It's going to happen 6th period guys" Iggy winked at us.

I shook my head, still appalled that he would do such a thing. Fang just chuckled.

"Did you get Gazzy to help you?" Fang asked.

Iggy nodded his head vigorously. "It's all set up!" He exclaimed.

Fang just nodded.

"Fang," I said. "Stop it!" I told him playfully, batting his arm away. "we're in school, in a janitors closet. That's so cliché" I told him as he continued to give me a hickey.

"I can't help it," He told me. "I still can't believe that you're here, it's been two years, Max. Two years." He said, getting serious. "I missed you every day. Every day I thought about you. You would think after two years the memory of someone you haven't seen would start to fade away, but it didn't." My eyes started watering. "I don't know what I would do without you. I want you there every minute, every second of my life, I want to be able to hold you, I want to be able to kiss you, and mostly I want to be able to have a family with you." By this time a tear was trailing down my cheek, and more were chasing it. Fang wiped the tear off with his thumb, his hand cradling my cheek.

Fang fumbled with something in his jacket. "I want to give you a promise ring, Max." He told me. "I want to promise you of all the things our future will hold. I want this with you."

I nodded and he slid the ring onto my finger. "I love you max. You are the best think that could have ever happened to me, and I love you for that."

I smiled at him, and then kissed him. This kiss wasn't like all the other ones, in this kiss something changed, and it was for the better. This kiss was the kiss that made me realize just how much I actually loved Fang.

Not as much Fax as the last chapter, but I still thought it was adorable :) Tell me what you think, and if I get up to 40 reviews I might just have to post another chapter ;) So REVIEW! :D
