A/N: Yes, I'm alive. No, I've not forgotten the story. I've actually been writing it steadily for the past few years but it's been more like proof editing it, revising, or writing for other stuff like RL essays that suck the soul out of you after a while. I'll try to update every few days of what I have for now.
Disclaimer: Niet. If I had the money I'd buy the rights but sadly...
All she could feel was a mounting panic that threatened to consume her as she rushed to the OR. Sasuke rarely got hurt and even then only got light scratches at most. Her rubber soles pounded on the floor before skidding to a stop in front of the afformentioned room. She swung the doors open and saw that they just barely started prepping for the operation. She nearly gasped at what she saw before setting her lips in a grim line.
The Uchiha in question was bleeding profusely from 3... no, not 3 but 4 bullet wounds and a nasty looking knife was embedded in his thigh. Thankfully they weren't in any fatal locations and only cleanly passed through the skin but he was losing blood fast and she needed to stabilize him before he lost anymore. She barked instructions to the awaiting assistants and grabbed the bottle of water that was thrust on her hand. She reached inside her pocket and pulled out a pill bottle that she uncapped. A pill popped on her palm which she then slipped into the male's mouth, tipping back his head so that he could receive the water she poured down his throat. She rubbed his throat to simulate swallowing motions before setting his head down and prepared for surgery.
The assistants had already set him up for the operation by the time she put on her gloves. "Hibiki-san, make sure he's completely under. Asuka-san, pay attention and stop gawking at the patient!" The people in question set out to follow her orders but Asuka couldn't help it. The wounds that were bleeding steadily albeit sluggishly were beginning to clot, and color even seemed to come back to his pale face! She shook her head to clear her thoughts, she could ask Sakura-sensei later about that pill. For now, a patient had to be saved!
