3. Hope- Part One

-The Next Day: Jonah's POV-

I wake up to the sound of my alarm. I begin blindly smacking at it ,trying to turn the annoying thing off so I can go back to sleep for a few more minutes. I finally hit the button to turn it off and then I lay back down to go to sleep. I start dozing ,only to bolt upright in bed in confusion. I realize that I don't have school today, so why did I set my alarm for 8 O' Clock on a Saturday? A minute later it all comes back to me. That's right, I was going to ask Cyrus if he wanted to walk with me in the park. I set my alarm so I could go to the store and buy some things for a picnic. I'm going to tell Cyrus that I like like him today. I unplug my phone from its charger and turn it on. I open the messenger app and text Cyrus.

-Short text message between Jonah and Cyrus-

Jonah: Hey Cy-Guy

-A minute later-

Cyrus: Hey Jonah Babonna

Jonah: So I had a question for you

Cyrus: What's the question?

Jonah: I wanted to know if you wanted to go for a walk in the park and then have a picnic, Later? I want to tell you something.

I hope he says yes.

Cyrus's POV:

Omg. Jonah Beck just asked if I would go for a picnic and a walk in the park. I'm going to die of happiness. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay! I want to say yes, yes of course I will go with you cuz I love you, but I have to keep my cool. I text back.

Cyrus: Sure. When?

Jonah: 2- 2:30 ish?

Cyrus: Okay sounds good..

Jonah: I'll see you then..

Cyrus: See you then. .

-End of text-

I wonder what Jonah Beck wants to tell me. I can't wait to find out later!

Jonah's POV:

I sit for a moment staring at my phone . I can't believe he said yes! Yaaaaaaaaaay! Now to get ready. I walk over to my closet and pick out a shirt that Cyrus told me that he liked in the past. It's a Navy blue striped shirt that hugs my upper body. Then I walk over to my dresser and pick out some boxers, a pair of black skinny jeans, and some light gray socks. I walk to my bathroom (that's in my room) and open the door and go in. I turn on the lights, shut the door, and then sit my clothes down on my sink's counter. I start the water for a shower and take off my clothes and step in. Twenty minutes later I get out and wrap a towel around my waist and dry off. I then grab my clothes and put them on. I fix my air with my comb and then I walk to my bathroom door and open it and then turn off the lights and walk out and close the door. I walk over to my nightstand and open the top drawer and I grab my wallet out. I shut the drawer and reach under my nightstand and grab my shoes. I sit on my bed and put my shoes on. I grab my notepad and pen off of the top of my nightstand and I brainstorm some things that I'll need for the picnic. Once done I put the list into my wallet and then I put my wallet into my front pocket of my jeans and then I walk to my bedroom door and open it. I walk out of my room into the hallway. I shut my door and go downstairs and notice, not surprised that my mom already went to work. I walk to the kitchen and grab my house key out of the tiny hidden cabinet inside of another bigger cabinet. Then I walk to the front door and open it. I walk outside and then shut the door and lock it and then I head to the store to get some things for our picnic.

1:30 -Cyrus's POV:

I step out of the shower after ten minutes. I wrap a towel around my waist and dry off. Once I do that, I put on the clothes that I picked out. A Navy blue striped shirt that reminds me of my favorite shirt on Jonah, Some boxers, a pair of white jeans, and some light blue socks. After I do that I fix my hair with my comb. Then I walk to my bathroom door and open it and then turn off the lights and walk out and close the door. I walk over to my bed and grab my shoes that are beside it. I put on my shoes and then I check the time. 1:45. Good I still have enough time to get there a little bit early. I walk over to my bedroom door and walk out and shut my door. I walk downstairs and notice that my mom is already at work, so I grab my keys off of the hook on the wall by the door and then I open the front door. I walk out of my house and shut the door and lock it. I pocket my keys and walk to the park. Once I get there I sit down on a bench and wait for Jonah.
