I decided to write a few more chapters on this story! I will be exploring Jinx and Kid Flash's life together. Please review, and tell me what you think!

Jinx's eyes fluttered shut, and she whimpered as Kid Flash ran a hand through her hair. She leaned against his bare chest, her fevered face felt hot on his skin. The soft noise from the tv was being flushed out by the thunder that rolled across the sky. The lightening cracked, lighting up the room for a few seconds.

Kid Flash wrapped his arms protectively around Jinx. He leaned down, and kissed the top of her head. She shivered against him, despite the fact that she had four blankets to keep her warm. Kid was sweating profusely from all the blankets and Jinx's fever racked body, but he didn't care. He didn't dare move, in fear of waking up the love of his life.

It had been a long day. Jinx had gotten sick early that morning, and she progressively continued to get worse. Now, at three in the morning, she wasn't feeling any better and a recovery seemed to still be hours off.

Rubbing his hands along his girlfriend's back, Kid Flash's eyes began to flutter shut. The only thing keeping him from drifting off into sleep was the rain beating against the window, and the thunder that got louder with each crack.

Kid Flash loved thunder storms, but Jinx was a different story. If she wasn't so sick, Kid was sure that she wouldn't have fallen asleep.

The light from the tv gave off an eerie glow. Kid, who watched a horror movie a few days ago, reached for the remote, not liking the light it gave off. When he moved his arm, he accidently bumped Jinx. Her eyes flew open.

Kid quietly cursed himself out, and adjusted Jinx, so her head was resting high up on his chest.

"What's going on?" she muttered, burrowing her face into his neck.

Wally kissed the top of her head, and mumbled into her hair, "its okay. I didn't mean to wake you."

Jinx whimpered, "I don't feel good."

"I know baby, I know." Wally grabbed one of the blankets that had fallen onto the floor. He wrapped it around her, despite the fact that he was already on the verge of a heat stroke. The extra weight of the thick blanket constricted his breathing slightly.

Jinx had drifted off into an uneasy sleep, she muttered and whimpered. Her fist clutched onto Wally's bare chest. Her breathing would quicken, and then slow down again. She would occasionally start to softly snore. When her stuffed up nose became too difficult to breath threw, she would open her mouth slightly and breathe that way. Wally feared this would only make her throat hurt worse.

Eventually Wally fell into a light sleep, but it wasn't satisfying sleep. It was a sleep that left you feeling even worse when you woke up. And when he woke up, he didn't feel the best. His muscles ached, and his head pounded. He lifted his arm up to wrap it around Jinx, but when he dropped it, it didn't land on Jinx. It landed on himself.

He groggily sat up, wondering where his girlfriend had gone off too. He rubbed his eyes, and looked over at the alarm clock. It was 7:48. He swung his legs over the side of the bed, slowly. He shivered when the blankets fell from his body. He wrapped his arms around himself, he skin hot to the touch. His eyes were heavy, and he had to fight to keep them open.

He dropped to the floor, his legs weak. He wobbled to the door, when he opened it; he had to lean against the wall to rest. He took a deep breath, the air burned his lungs. He slowly, painfully made his way to the kitchen. The closer he got, he more he could smell the eggs and bacon.

Walking into the kitchen, he saw Jinx standing over the stove. She was making scrambled eggs, a plate of bacon was too her right. He smiled when he saw her. He tried to make his was toward her; to give her hug, but was forced to stop when he was hit with a coughing spell.

Jinx turned her attention to her boyfriend, who was clearly sick. She walked over, gave him a kiss on the cheek, and led him toward the couch.

"I'm not sick," Wally protested as his girlfriend took his hand.

"I'm sure you're not," Jinx said with a smile.

"Really, I'm fine."

Jinx laid down on the couch. Taking both of Wally's hands, she pulled him into her. With his head on her chest, Wally fell asleep.

I know it's short, but I promise the other ones will be longer! I just wanted to get this one up quickly! Please review and tell me what you think! Thanks!
