/Note: Whoa, chapter 3 already? Shocking huh? This is a great accomplishment. Anyway, thank you for reading the other chapters and this one, reviews are welcome!/

That evening Axel had reached the far end of the city, unamused the same questions as before hovered within his mind, he racked his brain for a solution and assuming scenarios and whatnot. His friend, or former friend just tried to kill him? Why? It only bothered him more. Axel groaned and shifted from one foot to another and ventured somewhere else, perhaps food would clear his mind. So with that in mind Axel walked into a near by cafe.

The redhead ordered a cup of coffee and seated himself at a small table designed for two customers beside a single window. Two drops of rain fell from the sky before a barrage of water followed after, a harsh storm began to develop complete with thunder and lightning. Storms like these seemed to pop up whenever and wherever including when the weather was meant to be nice and sunny. Just one of the many superstitions for the citizens to fuss over. Passing by the open window was none other than Sora and his crew, worried expressions were rare for those three but they were there nonetheless. The bell over the door jingled as the three heros walked in to escape the rain.

Axel looked up at the sound of the bell, setting his cup of joe down and unaware that whipped cream stuck to his upper lip. "Sora?" His voice was quiet but seemed to echo throughout the restaurant.

The trio ordered and settled at a nearby booth, oblivious to the redhead that sat on the other side of the room. A couple of girls across from Axel giggled at the sight before them, a brunette signaled to the assassin by touching above her lip. The male blinked then nodded before whipping his lip and smiling. Not even the slight embarrassment.

Sora spoke as he watched the rain fall, "Riku, are you sure he's around here?"

The silverette partook of his own cup, downing half the liquid before replying, "Yes, you do realize the consequences of this quest though? We're going against Master Eraqus… Just to try and save a Nobody." To normal people their conversation would of been odd and suspicious so they kept their voices low.

Axel stood to his feet and made his way over to the fellow crew. He stopped behind the group talking in a sarcastic tone of voice. "Well, well, well. It's been a while you guys. How've you been?" He asked with a hand on his hip.

The trio turned and looked up at Axel, at first they were confused until all three of their eyes widened, their conversation coming to a stop. "Axel?! Hey! It's been a while! Sit with us!" The brunet male insisted with a smile, Kairi moved over a tad before the redhead accepted his request by sitting down. "Demyx must not be far off if you're here."

Axel released a sigh through his nose, resting his chin in the palm of his hand. "So, why am I being hunted down? Not a very warm welcome.." Riku sighed and spoke before Sora could get a word in, fixing Axel with his own gaze. "It can't be helped… We don't have much time so listen well." From then to at least fifteen minutes later Riku told Axel about what happened to Demyx and everyone else. Axel groaned lightly, turning his head to look back at the door. With narrowed eyes the assassin spoke calmly, "It's raining, so he'll probably be here shortly. You three better head out.

Sora's fist clenched, looking at Axel with unwavering eyes. "It's not Demyx's fault… We're trying to save him, you could at least help, right? Try to restore his memories?" None of them moved, both Riku and Kairi glanced at Sora before they looked at Axel, curious as to what he was going to say while the rain only came down harder.

"Very well. I'll try. But if It fails, then I'll kill him." He answered as he stood up, grabbing his unfinished cup of coffee. "I'll have to knock some sense into him first, hopefully the punch I planted him with was enough to rock that brain of his.." The trio rose, paid their tab and smiled with relief, "Thank you Axel, I'm sure you'll have more luck than us." And with that said, those three walked out of the cafe and headed back home. Leaving Axel to ponder on what he should do and how he should do it.

/Note: The trio is a bit out of character, hope you can forgive me :3/
