Chapter 2
California Adventure
Day 3
Warlok and the Ojamajos sat down for breakfast and told Roy all about what they have learned.
"So, Vilor is planning to return?" Roy asked.
"That's correct," Warlok said. "And he's going to use the lights from the Disney Parks to escape the Realm of Spirits."
"Then you must restore all the parks before Vilor returns."
"Right. So we'll do California Adventure next."
"Alright, another park," Doremi said.
Warlok and the Ojamajos headed outside.
"The only way to enter the park is to go over the Golden Gate Bridge monorail track," Roy explained.
"Looks like we're going to need to fly over it," Warlok said then turned to the Ojamajos. "Take out your brooms."
"Wait a minute," Hazuki said. "How can you fly, Warlok-san? You don't even have wings."
"He has the power to fly using his heel blades," Doremi informed her friend.
"That's correct," the Blue Knight said. "Alright, let's go."
Suddenly, a voice stopped them.
"Hold it, Mansect!"
The voice turned out to be Majo Rika's, who flew down to the group with the fairies and the white Ojamajo, Hana-chan.
"Majo Rika, how did you find us?" the red-haired Ojamajo asked her teacher.
"I've located you through my crystal ball," Majo Rika answered.
"And we brought them," Lala said.
"Mama!" Hana-chan shouted in joy.
Hana-chan jumped to Doremi and hugged her.
"Hana-chan, what are you doing here?" Doremi asked.
"Hana-chan wanted to be with Mamas," Hana-chan said.
"So this is your daughter, Hana-chan," Warlok said.
"Who's he?" Hana-chan asked.
"Oh, this is my godfather, Warlok," Doremi replied.
"Can Hana-chan call you Warlok-Papa?" the little witch girl asked.
"Of course you can," Warlok accepted.
"Enough with the introductions!" Majo Rika yelled. "We're going home."
"We can't, Majo Rika," Doremi said.
"Nani?!" the witch frog angrily asked.
"We need to save the Disney Parks."
"Why do you care about those pathetic human parks?"
"They're not pathetic!" Doremi protested. "And their lights are being stolen by the Black Hearts!"
"What made you to do such nonsense?" Majo Rika asked.
"She's right, Majo Rika," Warlok said. "If we don't restore the parks in time, Vilor will return."
"The Dark Lord of the Realm of Darkness?" Majo Rika asked in fear.
"You've heard of him?" Doremi asked.
"He was once a wizard of our world named Victor until he became a mansect and turned evil," Majo Rika said. "I ain't staying here, we got to hide in the Majokai when he returns!"
"Vilor is not going to return!" Warlok said. "We're going to restore all the parks and keep him in the Realm of Spirits."
"You have no authority to do that!" Majo Rika shouted.
"In fact I do," Warlok informed her. "After we restored Disneyland, I spoke with Jou-sama about this."
Warlok showed Majo Rika the order and she read it..
"'To Master Warlok Durongo and Doremi-chan-tachi, you will restore all the Disney Parks and save the world from the Dark Lord. You will be rewarded for your heroic deeds once you have finished. Sincerely, Majokai no Jou-sama' Fine, if that's what the queen orders, then you do what you wish."
"Thank you," Warlok said. "Now let's get going."
"Can Hana-chan come too?" Hana-chan asked.
"No, Hana-chan," Doremi said. "It's too scary for you."
"I think Hana-chan can be useful to you," Roy said, "because she is pure of heart and has no darkness. This is for you, Hana-chan."
Roy handed Hana-chan a keyblade.
"What's this?" she asked.
"This is called White Rose," Roy explained. "When ever you enter a dark ride, hold the keyblade up and the light will shine."
"Does that mean I won't be able to turn into the blue stone?" Warlok asked.
"That's right. But it has a time limit, you only get five minutes until the light is gone. Use it well."
"She will," Warlok said then turned to the Ojamajos. "Everyone, mount your brooms."
The Ojamajos mounted their brooms and Warlok's heel blades glowed and he levitated off the ground.
"All right, let's go."
Warlok and the Ojamajos flew into the park and hid behind a building.
"Wait here," the warrior said. "I'll be right back."
Warlok took off at Mach 3 and destroyed all the Black Hearts in the park. He returned to the Ojamajos and they headed to the front of the entrance. Warlok took out his scanner.
"According to the scanner," he said, "there are only six shards through out the park. Two in Hollywood Pictures Backlot, two in Paradise Pier, and two in Golden state."
"Which one should we do first?" Doremi asked.
"let's head over to Hollywood Pictures Backlot because its the closest."
Warlok lead the Ojamajos to the area and Warlok checked his scanner.
"One shard is in Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue and the other is in The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror," Warlok said. "So let's do Monsters, Inc. first."
"What kind of ride is that?" the pink Ojamajo asked.
"A dark ride," He answered. "Doremi, get the detector ready."
"Hai, Warlok."
"Hana-chan, I'll tell you when to use your keyblade," Warlok said to the white Ojamajo.
"Hai, Warlok-Papa," Hana-chan said.
"Let's go," Warlok said.
Warlok and the Ojamajos headed over to the ride building. As they entered it, Warlok turned into the blue stone and hung onto Doremi's neck. As they headed down the hallway, they saw vending machines filled with monster food and drinks. They then passed two newspaper containers until they reached the loading area.
"The only way to get the shard is to ride in these taxis," the voice of Warlok said. "All aboard."
The Ojamajos boarded the vehicles and headed down the streets of Monstropolis. The small television monitor in the car played a clip of a tourism video.
"Hello," said a computer voice. "If you are new to the area, the Monstropolis favorite propers would like to welcome you. While you're in town, be sure to–"
Suddenly an urgent news report cut in and appeared on the monitor.
"We interrupt this program for a special report," a female reporter said. "A child is on the lose in Monstropolis, A HUMAN CHILD!"
"If witnesses are to be believed," the anchorman said. "there has been a child-security breech in a first time in monster history."
"We can neither confirm nor deny to the press that a human child is here tonight," a CDA agent said to the reporter.
"I tried to run from it," a monster civilian said, "when it picked me up with its mind powers, shook me up like a dog."
"It's true!" another civilian shouted. "I saw the whole thing!"
"Why are they so worried?" Doremi asked.
"I think they believe that a contact to humans is considered deadly to the monsters," Warlok's voice said.
"I-i rather n-not go n-near a m-monster," Hazuki said in a shivering voice.
"M-me n-neither," Momoko stuttered.
"I think it's just a pathetic rumor," Warlok's voice said.
They exited a tunnel and went down the dark streets, passing Mike and Celia in Mike's new car as he wished her a happy birthday.
"Happy Birthday, Smoozy-Poohs," Mike said.
"Oh, Googly-Bear!" Celia said.
They then saw Randall angrily looking around. The news reporters interviewed the monsters who were frightened by alleged encounters with the human toddler girl, Boo. Sulley popped out from an alley holding boo, looking to see if the coast is clear.
"Boo!" Boo giggled.
"Oh," Sulley said in a worried voice, "we got to get you home."
They drove into Harryhausen's sushi joint, where frantic monsters ran around as Celia screamed angrily at Mike and Sulley who were running across the way.
"There's a kid here!" Harryhausen yelled into the phone. "A human kid!"
"Michael Wazowski!" Celia yelled then tearfully said, "And on my birthday! I thought you cared about me!"
"Celia," Mike tried to reason with her, "try to understand!"
"Come on," Sulley said, "this way!"
They entered Monsters, Inc. factory and were nearly cleansed by the CDA, who fell from nowhere and took pictures.
"Split up and lock it down," the first agent said.
"There's nothing down here," the second agent said.
"Here's the girl you're looking for," the third agent said.
A few workers walked by and they entered the boys' locker room where Mike appeared scared and worried again while Sulley waited for Boo to use the restroom.
"Hurry up, Sulley," Mike said. "I got Boo's door set up on the Scarefloor."
"Boo," Sulley said into the stall where Boo is, "are you done yet?"
They saw Randall appearing and disappearing in a nearby corner.
"Race you to the Scarefloor," Randall said in a snicker.
They entered a giant room where they again saw Randall sending Boo's door back to the storage.
"Guess they'll never find her door now!" he cackled.
They headed to the storage and they saw Mike, Sulley and Boo standing on the walkway.
"Look, there's your door!" Sulley pointed.
"We're almost there," Mike said.
They passed by the doors and they saw Randall threatening to destroy Boo's door.
"Not so fast, Sullivan!" Randall threatened. "Ha ha! She'll never get home now!"
They passed various doors that open showing various monsters. They saw Boo beating up Randall with a bat, changing his colors. The detector rumbled.
"The shard is close," Doremi said.
They saw Mike and Sulley, who finally reached Boo's Door.
"This has been the most terrifying day of my life," Mike said.
"Mike Wazowski," Boo said.
"Good luck with you, Kiddo."
"Good night, Boo," Sulley said.
"Kitty," Boo said.
"Kitty's got to go now."
They exited into the factory main lobby. CDA members cleansed them as a cameraman filmed them. They then came in front of Roz. Doremi saw the shard in Roz's hair.
"There it is!" Doremi shouted. "Tractor beam, ON!"
Doremi switched on the tractor beam, but the shard did not move.
"It's stuck!"
"Hana-chan," Warlok's voice said, "use your keyblade."
"Hai, Warlok-Papa," Hana-chan said. "Light, shine!"
A burst of light filled the room and the stone turned back into Warlok. He used his powerful Psychokinesis to pull the shard hard out of Roz's hair. Warlok then turned back into the stone.
"Impressive," Warlok's voice commented.
Roz remarked on the Ojamajos.
"You guys in the third row!" she said. "I'm watching you. I'm always watching!"
They headed back to the loading area and un-boarded the vehicles. After they headed outside, the stone turned back into Warlok.
"First shard of the day," the Blue Knight said. "Let's head over to the next ride."
Warlok and the Ojamajo walked to the front of the main entrance gate to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
"The next shard should be on this thrill ride," Warlok said.
"That means you won't turn into the stone, right?" Doremi asked.
"That's right," He answered. "Let's head inside."
Warlok lead the Ojamajos through the overgrown gardens and into the lobby.
"It's dark, Mama," Hana-chan said.
"It's okay, Hana-chan," Doremi said to her daughter. "Don't be afraid."
"It's dark and dusty," Aiko said then sneezed.
"Look at this," Onpu pointed to an object. "A yellowing copy of the Los Angeles Examiner. The date says October 31, 1939."
"There's a table set with tea and stale pastries," Momoko said.
"There are still several suitcases here," Pop said.
"That's not all," Doremi pointed out. "Look behind the front desk. A broken elevator with its sliding doors having slid off their grooves."
"Everything in the hotel has been left undisturbed ever since it closed decades ago," Warlok said.
"What happened here, Warlok-Papa?" Hana-chan asked.
"We're about to find out," the Warrior said. "To the library."
The group entered the hotel library filled with books, exotic antiques, a television, and plenty of Twilight Zone memorabilia. They saw through the window that there was a thunderstorm going on outside. Lightning struck and the television came on, apparently of its own accord. The opening sequence of Season 4 of The Twilight Zone played, followed by a "lost" episode hosted by Rod Serling.
"We will unlock this door with a key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension. A dimension of sound. A dimension of sight. A dimension of the mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance of things and ideas. You just crossed into...the Twilight Zone! Hollywood, 1939. Amid the glint and glitter of the bustling and moving town at the height of its golden age. Hollywood Tower Hotel was a star in its own right. A beating of Show business elite. Now, something is about to happen that will change all that."
They saw four guests and a bellhop boarding the elevator. As it ascended, lighting struck the elevator shafts. The guests disappeared and the shafts have been destroyed while the elevator dropped and vanished.
"The time is now on an evening very much like the one we have just witnessed. Tonight's story of the Twilight Zone is somewhat unique that calls for a different kind of introduction. This is what you may recognize as a maintenance service elevator, still in operation, waiting for you. We've invite you, if you dare, to step aboard because in tonight's episode, you are the star. And this elevator travels directly to...the Twilight Zone!"
The television shut off and the back exit opened. Warlok and the Ojamjos headed into the basement boiler room. They came in front of the elevator doors and waited for the elevator to come.
"The shard should be somewhere on this ride," Warlok said.
The elevator doors opened and they stepped inside and strapped themselves to the seats. The doors closed and the vehicle pushed backwards away from door while a star-field appeared around it and a purple spiral appeared on the doors.
"You are the passengers of a most uncommon elevator," the Voice of Serling said, "about to take on the strangest journey of your lives. Your destination…unknown. But this much is clear. A reservation has been made in your name for an extended stay."
The elevator rose. The first stop was a large mirror.
"How does Hana-chan's hair look?" the white Ojamajo asked.
"No time for hairstyles," Warlok said.
"Wave goodbye to the real world," the Voice said.
Lightning struck and electricity began to arc around the mirror and the reflections of Warlok and the Ojamajos were replaced by a ghostly silhouette of themselves. Their reflections then disappeared.
"For you have just entered ... the Twilight Zone!"
The elevator shuddered as the door closed and the elevator moved to the next stop. The door opened to reveal a corridor of the hotel, with an elevator door located at the far end of it.
"What happened here to dim the lights of Hollywood's brightest showcase is about to unfold once again."
Suddenly, the ghosts of the hotel's permanent residents appeared.
"Ghosts!" Hazuki and Momoko shrieked.
"Don't you two start that again!" Aiko snapped at her friends.
After they disappeared, electricity coursed through the hallway.
"One stormy night long ago," the Voice continued, "five people stepped through the door of an elevator and into the nightmare…."
The hallway slowly faded into a star-field with the residents standing in the now open elevator that was at the end of the hallway.
"That door is opening once again, but this time, it's opening for you."
Then the elevator at the end of the hallway dropped and the vehicle began its drop sequence. The Ojamajos screamed. The elevator rised to 13th floor. After flashing strobe lights, the elevator short dropped, followed by a long one. They went up 2/3 of the way up to the top. Doremi saw something shining.
"Warlok, the shard!" Doremi shouted.
"I got it!" Warlok yelled.
Warlok used his psychokinesis, but the elevator dropped.
"Drat, I missed! Hold on!"
Warlok lifted the elevator up to the shard.
"Doremi, use the tractor beam!"
"Got it!" The red-haired Ojamajo said. "Tractor beam, ON!"
The shard drew closer and Dorie grabbed it. The elevator rose to the top and the top floor doors opened and they saw a sky-high view of Disneyland and California Adventure.
"Wonderful view!" Pop commented.
The elevator fell to a place between the load levels and a door opened again and they saw an elevator door. The vehicle began moving toward it as the Voice of Serling gave a warning.
"The next time you check in to a deserted hotel on the dark side of Hollywood, make sure you know just what kind of vacancy you're filling or you may find yourself a permanent resident of...the Twilight Zone."
The door opened and Warlok and the Ojamajos unbuckle their seat belts and exited the elevator. They headed down the hallway, pass the photo purchasing stand, through the gift shop, and back outside.
"Well, that went well," Aiko said.
"Certainly did," Warlok said then turns to Doremi. "Did you get the shard?"
"In my hand," Doremi said.
"Good. Now let's head to the next area."
Warlok and the Ojamajos walked over to Golden State to find more shards. Warlok took out his scanner.
"According to the scanner," he said, "there are two shards in this area. One in Soarin' Over California and one in Grizzly River Run."
"Which one should we do first?" Doremi asked.
"Let's do Soarin' Over California. This one's a thrill ride. Follow me."
Warlok lead the Ojamajos into the building. After a long walk down the corridor, they finally reached the doors to the ride. The television turned on to reveal a man.
"Hello and welcome to Soarin' Over California," The man said. "My name is Patrick and I'll be your chief flight attendant today. We'll begin boarding in a few minutes but first I would like to appoint you with some important safety information." Patrick enters the flight room as he continues. "When the doors to your flight open, please take a seat and store all carry-on items into the under seat compartment. This includes cameras, purses, hats, and, of course, these little beauties." He then turned to the passengers. "Next, fasten your seat belts inserting them into the buckle on the right. If small aviators don't measure up to the height of the degrader on the seat, just put the belt through the loop of the center strap before buckle."
A kid took the seat belt, inserted it through the center strap and into the buckle. He then gave a thumbs up.
"Nice work, Pal," Patrick said to the kid. Then he continued. "Soon you'll be airborne. So, if you or all aviators have a fear of flying or heights, might want to exit through the far gate during your arrival." Patrick pulled out a review form. "Okay, let's review. There are seat belts, carry-on items, safety straps, and fear of heights. Keep your head and arms inside at all times, anything else. Have a nice flight."
The screen said "Now boarding". Warlok and the Ojamajos headed inside only to receive a shock.
"What happened in here!?" Doremi shouted in question.
"Looks like the Black hearts did a little remodeling," Warlok said. "There's only one canopy with seats left."
"There's only five seats here," Hazuki stated.
"All right then. Doremi and Hana-chan, you both ride with me. The rest of you, take the seats."
The Ojamajos boarded the canopy. Warlok levitated off the floor and Doremi and Hana-chan rode on his back. They lifted up to the screen and everything went black. Suddenly, they were flying in the clouds.
"Mama," Hana-chan exclaimed, "we're really flying!"
"So we are," Doremi said.
They descended from the clouds and flew over San Francisco.
"There's the Golden Gate Bridge," Doremi pointed to the landmark. "I never thought of seeing it up close."
They now flew over Redwood Creek where people were river rafting and kayaking.
"These people are having fun," Hazuki said.
Warlok flew down and made water ripples with his hands. They now flew above Napa Valley.
"Look," Aiko pointed to the sky, "hot air balloons."
The scene changed to Monterey Bay.
"This is where we set up the undersea base," Warlok stated.
"The time of the sea battle," Doremi asked.
"Correct."
The scene changed to a Lake Tahoe Ski Resort.
"The people are snow skiing," Pop said.
The scene changed and they were soarin' over Yosemite National Park.
"There's Yosemite Falls," Doremi pointed.
"And there's Half Dome," Aiko said.
They saw a hang glider and Warlok flew next to him.
"Good afternoon," Warlok greeted.
The scene changed into the PGA West Palmer Course in La Quinta.
"They sure do love to golf," Onpu said.
"Fore!" a golfer in the course yelled.
A golf ball flew right at them. Warlok used his psychokinesis to push the canopy away from the golf ball.
"Arigato, Warlok-san," the Ojamajos thanked the Blue Knight.
"You're welcome," Warlok said.
The scene changed to a farm field in Camarillo.
"So many trees," Momoko said.
They now flew over Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.
"The desert looks beautiful," Doremi said.
Suddenly, three fighter jets flew right past our heroes.
"The U.S. Airforce Thunderbirds," Warlok said.
The scene changed to San Diago where the coast was filled with a fleet of Navy ships.
"There are so many ships," Hazuki said.
The scene turned to evening and they were flying over Malibu beach.
"These guys are surfing," Aiko said.
The scene now changed to a lighted city of Los Angeles at night.
"Pretty lights," Hana-chan said.
The final scene appeared as Disneyland itself.
"Never thought I see Disneyland from the air," Doremi said.
Tinkerbell flew over to Warlok and the Ojamajos and waved her wand. The shard appeared in Warlok's hand and Tinkerbell flew into the fireworks filled sky.
"Thanks, Tink," Warlok said.
"The fireworks are beautiful," Pop said.
Everything went black and they lowered to the floor. The Ojamajos got off the seats and followed Warlok to the exit. After they made it outside, Warlok looked around.
"Piece of cake," He said. "Let's head to the next ride."
Warlok and the Ojamajos walked over to Grizzly River Rapids.
"This one is a raft ride," Warlok said.
"Will we get wet?" Doremi asked.
"Not to worry, the sun will dry us after this."
They entered the loading area and boarded the raft.
"The shard is located somewhere in the river. So hold on to the bar at all times."
They left the loading area and after a left turn, they went up the conveyer lift. As they passed through a hut, water gushed at them.
"Ack!" Hana-chan exclaimed. "Hana-chan's wet!"
"That was just a warm-up," Warlok stated, "the last one is much bigger."
After they reached the top, they headed down the rough river.
"This is going to be a bumpy ride," Aiko said.
"Kyaa!" Hazuki shrieked. "I already got splashed."
They headed through a cave and bumped into a log jam as they headed to the first drop. Soon after passing through more caves, they made it to the final drop.
"The shard is down this drop," Warlok said. "Hang on!"
They headed down the flume. The Ojamajos screamed as Warlok used his psychokinesis to grab the shard before they hit the bottom with a big splash.
Warlok shuddered, "At least my armor is waterproof. Heads up, Ojamajos. There's a geyser straight ahead."
The geyser shot water at them.
"Make it stop already!" Doremi yelled.
They returned to the loading area. They got out of the raft and returned outside.
"Four down and two to go," Warlok said. "Now let's head over to Paradise Pier."
Warlok and the Ojamajos walled to Paradise Pier. Warlok took out his scanner.
"According to the scanner," he said, "there are two shards here. We'll do California Screamin'."
"Is that the wooden roller coaster?" Doremi asked.
"Exactly," Warlok answered. "Let's head to the station."
Warlok lead the Ojamajos to the loading station. After they entered there, they boarded the coaster train.
"Make sure you're all strapped in," Warlok informed the Ojamajos. "All right. Hang on, everybody."
The train left the station and banked slightly to the left. They suddenly stopped and a voice was heard.
"Launch in five, four, three, two, ONE!"
The train launched up a hill and then dropped down under the track for a headchopper and curve to the right into a brake zone. They made a right turn then a dropped and a banked turn to the left. The train entered an upslope brake zone and was carried up the rest of the hill. They dropped steeply and curved to the left, up an incline to the right and a U-turn. Doremi spotted a shard in the center of the upcoming loop.
"There it is, Warlok!" Doremi yelled.
"Hang on!" Warlok shouted.
Warlok hooked his heel blades into the train and it ran at extreme speed. They dropped and maneuvered through the loop.
"Doremi, NOW!" he yelled.
"Tractor beam, ON!" Doremi shouted.
The beam switched on and brought the shard into Doremi's hand. After many rises, drops, "bunny" hops, and brakes, they finally made it to the loading station. They un-boarded the train and headed back to the park area.
"Only one shard to go," Warlok said. "Let's head to the last ride."
Warlok and the Ojamajos headed to Toy Story Midway Mania.
"The last shard is in this ride," the Quick Warrior said.
"Dark ride?" Doremi asked.
"Yes," he answered. "And it's a shooting game."
"Like carnival midway games," Hazuki said.
"Exactly. The running time is 5-6 minutes, enough time for all of us to play. Let's head inside."
Warlok and the Ojamajos walked down the aisle, past a Mr. Potato Head audio-animatronic.
"Hurry, hurry, hurry!" Mr. Potato Head said. "Right this way to Toy Story Midway Mania! It's a ride, it's a game. It's a game, it's a ride. Step right up and see what's inside. Look at it this way, my head is so famous its wearing sunglasses."
As they headed inside, Warlok turned into the blue stone and hung onto Doremi's neck. As they reached the loading area, they each took a pair of 3D glasses while Doremi took an extra pair for Warlok.
"Okay," Warlok's voice said. "Hana-chan, I'll tell you when to use your keyblade."
"Hai, Warlok-Papa," Hana-chan said.
"We'll need to beat the high score to get the shard," he said. "All aboard."
The Ojamajos boarded the vehicles and they headed into the big dark room.
"Now, Hana-chan," Warlok said.
"Light, shine," Hana-chan commanded.
Hana-chan's keyblade shot a burst of light which filled the whole room. The stone turned back into Warlok and Doremi handed him the 3D glasses.
"All right, Ojamajos," he said, "fire when ready."
They mode to first booth.
"Hey, partners," Woody said to our heroes. "Welcome to the practice game."
"Go hit the bull's eye," Jessie said.
"Toss those pies," Buzz Lightyear said.
Warlok and the Ojamajos pulled the ropes on the mounted cannons and they shot pies at the targets. Warlok used his Mach 3 for rapid fire power.
"Woo yeah, keep it coming!" Jessie shouted.
"Hey, hey," Woody said.
"I think they got the hang of it," Buzz said.
"Oh, great job, deputies," Woody said.
They moved onto the next booth.
"Hey, knock down all the animals," Rex said then screamed. "Aah!"
They shot eggs at the animals.
"If you want to shoot farther," Rex said, "aim higher."
"Keep that fox out of the hen house," Ham said.
"You're doing great!" Rex said.
"Yeah ha!" Ham exclaimed.
"Hurry, hurry!" Rex shouted. "You're running out of time."
Rex and Ham started counting down, "5, 4, 3, 2, 1!"
"Excellent job!" Ham said.
"Great playing," Rex said then dropped the eggs. "Aah!"
They moved to the next booth.
"Welcome, everybody," Bo Peep said. "Now, pop the balloons."
They shot darts at the balloons.
"Keep popping," Bo said.
"You're doing great," Wheezy said.
"You're losing time!" Bo shouted.
Bo and Wheezy counted down, "5, 4, 3, 2, 1!"
"Good bye," Bo said, "and thanks for popping in."
They moved to the next booth.
"Ready, aim, break those plates!" The Green Army Sargent shouted.
They shot baseballs at breakable plates.
"I am not your mother," Sargent ordered, "break those plates!"
The sound of crashing and shattering was heard as our heroes were breaking the plates.
"Time is running out!" Sargent yelled.
The Green Army Men counted down, "5, 4, 3, 2, 1!"
"Mission accomplished," Sargent said. "Move out!"
"Sir, yes sir!" the soldiers complied.
They moved to the next booth.
"Launch those rings," Buzz said. "To Infinity and Beyond!"
They shot rings at different poles and Little Green Men.
"Whee!" one of the LGMs yelled.
"You've got no time to lose," Buzz said.
Buzz and the LGMs counted down, "5, 4, 3, 2, 1!"
"Great work, players," Buzz said.
"Farewell!" the LGMs shouted.
They moved to the last booth.
"Time for Woody's Round Up!" Woody said.
"Rightio, Sheriff Woody," Jessie said.
They shot suction cup darts at targets.
"Aim for the Bull's Eye!" Jessie shouted.
"Looks like someone's been practicing," Woody complimented.
"Head right up to the gold mine," Jessie said.
The scene changed to a gold mine.
"Keep shootin'," Jessie encouraged.
"Get all the gold!" The Prospector shouted.
"This is the last game," Woody informed.
They shot at the final targets.
"Fill up the target score to 5,000 points!" Warlok yelled.
"You got it!" the Ojamajos said.
Our heroes shot quickly as Woody, Jessie and the Prospector began the final count down.
"5, 4, 3, 2, 1!"
"Times up," Woody said.
They now headed to the prize booth.
"Okay," Woody said, "let's see the results,"
Woody pulled the string and the score gauges filled up. Warlok got the highest score.
"That's awesome, Warlok!" Doremi shouted in amazement.
"Oh, it was nothing," Warlok brushed off.
Warlok turned back into the stone. They returned to the loading area, un-boarded the vehicles and grabbed the shard. After heading back outside, The stoned turns back into Warlok.
"All right," Warlok said, "we got all the shards. Let's head over to Grizzly Peak, and we're done."
After Warlok and the Ojamajos walked to Grizzly Peak, they stood in front of the barrier.
"All right, Doremi," Warlok said to his goddaughter. "Take out the shards."
Doremi took the shards out of the pouch and they reassembled into a crystal Mickey Mouse symbol with a CA-shaped rune tooth. Warlok inserted the key into the lock and the barrier disappeared.
"Okay," he said, "let's go."
Warlok and the Ojamajos walked to the entrance. As they were nearing it, Warlok stopped.
"The entrance is being guarded by that Heavy Weight," Warlok pointed to the guard. "Those things are hard to beat, so I'll do a little persuasion. Follow me."
They walked up to the Heavy Weight.
"Hey you," the guard said. "Where did you come from?"
"We've come to have a look around inside the peak," Warlok said.
"Sorry," the Heavy Weight informed, "this place is off limits." It suddenly became suspicious. "Wait, you look familiar. Identify yourselves."
Warlok waved his hand and said, "You have no interest in our identities."
The Heavy Weight unintelligently said, "I have no interest in your identities."
Warlok waved his hand again and said, "You can allow us to pass."
"I can allow you to pass."
"We can go about our business."
"You can go about your business."
"Go on in."
The Heavy Weight stepped aside and said, "Go on in."
Warlok and the Ojamajos headed inside.
"I can't understand how we got by that Black Heart," Aiko said. "I thought we were dead."
"The Mansect sorcery can have a strong influence over the weak-minded," Warlok informed the Blue Ojamajo. "Now let's find the first keyhole."
Warlok and the Ojamajos passed through the cave-like corridors until they headed into a chamber.
"There it is," Doremi pointed, "on the stalagmite."
"Stand back," Warlok said.
Warlok took out Wolf Bane and shot a beam of light into the keyhole. The chamber disappeared and they now entered the inter sanctum.
"Now, let's find the other keyhole," the Mansect Sorcerer said. "Stay close to me, there may be another guard here."
Warlok and the Ojamajos searched the sanctum until they found the keyhole.
"There's the keyhole," Warlok said. "But where's the–"
"BLACK HEART!" Doremi screamed.
A giant Black Heart dropped from above.
"I am Kumanite," the Black Heart introduced itself. "I guard this keyhole from any intruders."
"I'll beat you and restore this park back to its original state," Warlok said.
"So," Kumanite said, "you are the ones who defeated Dragorn. I shall kill you to avenge him."
Kumanite attacked and Warlok countered. The Ojamajos hid.
"Where's Hana-chan?" Doremi asked.
Doremi saw Hana-chan behind the Black Heart.
"Leave Warlok-Papa alone, you big, fat, teddy bear!" Hana-chan angrily yelled.
Hana-chan jabbed Kumanite in the bottom.
Kumanite howls in pain then furiously said, "You little twerp!"
"Hana-chan!" Doremi screamed.
Kumanite attempted to strike Hana-chan. She screamed. Warlok jumped in and struck Kumanite in the chest. With it dying words, it left a warning.
"You may have saved the park, but it's light has already been taken. Soon Vilor shall…rise…again."
Kumanite disappeared. Doremi went over to Hana-chan.
"Mama!" Hana-chan cried.
"Oh, Hana-chan!" Doremi said. "Don't scare me like that again."
"Hai, Mama," Hana-chan said.
"Thank goodness you're okay,"
Doremi hugged Hana-chan.
"You're a good mother, Doremi," Warlok said. "Now, use your keyblade."
Doremi wiped her eyes.
"Okay," She says.
Doremi took out Mystic Melody and shot a beam of light at the keyhole. They returned back outside and Grizzly Peak glowed. It sent a wave of light, wiping out the Black Hearts and freeing the guests.
"Well, Disneyland Resort is finally restored," Warlok said. "Why don't we take a break and go to the hot springs?"
"Okay," the Ojamajos said.
In the evening, they were relaxing in a hot spring and Warlok answered the Ojamajos' questions.
"I have these prosthetic implants in my right forearm when Lord Zaolor crushed it," Warlok explained. "The scar on my left forearm was cut deep by a remnant of Vilor's darkness. And finally this scar on my chest, stabbed by Silocon to remove the darkness from me."
"How did you survive from all that?" Pop asked.
"I was saved by the heart of a child," Warlok said.
"That was Doremi?" Hana-chan asked.
"I don't know what I did," Doremi stated.
"I think there's more to you than meets the eye, Doremi," Warlok said.
"You think so?" Doremi asked her godfather.
"With all my heart," he answered.
The Disneyland Resort rescue was over. The rescue of the other parks was about to begin.
