Hey dudes. It's me, back with another chapter.
Before I start, let me just say that this story will rely on some episodes of the actual show. What I'm going to do is interject my own original chapters in the middle of the episodes. The plot will be the same, since I don't want to make the fanfic too original. And oh man, you don't know how hard it is to input new scenes and lines into an already perfect episode.
This chapter is only going to be the first half of the episode. There was two reasons for this. A) I need to continuously upload a chapter every three days so that my routine of writing won't be screwed over. B) The episode is too long for me to recreate in one single chapter.
This chapter doesn't heavily focus on details, but the dialogue. Once again, it was kinda hard to input a new scene where the OC's and the main characters talk. So whenever I do an 'episode chapter' rather than an 'original chapter', expect more dialogue rather than details.
Anyways, that's all and I hope you enjoy the chapter.
Disclaimer: Star vs. The Forces of Evil belongs to Daron Nefcy.
OC and Story are mine.
The Butterfly Sisters Goes To Earth [1-2]
"So..." A man spoke. "You say you're from an another dimension."
The man said in doubt. This person is none other than the principal of Echo Creek Academy; Principal Skeeves. A responsible individual that takes care of the school. Mr. Skeeves is pretty much has the highest position in the entire academy. But there's only one tiny problem with his attitude, he could easily be swayed using cash. This attitude of his can become extremely dangerous if it wasn't balanced with his responsible side of him. It could be so dangerous, that he might able to sell the school if he was just given enough dough.
Star and Eudora had completely changed their attire when they went to Earth. They changed clothes because of the reason that they needed to blend in with the other humans. Star was wearing a sea-green dress with a white colored collar. She had an octopus in the middle of the dress and she wore leggings, presumably to keep her legs warm. She also had a Star-shaped pouch for whenever she had to carry something small. While Eudora was wearing is clearly simpler than what Star was wearing. She wore sleeves with blue and yellow stripes and also wore some skinny Jeans. She had a simple leather pouch that had something in it. They picked out their clothes from some clothing shop they found nearby. Needless to say that only one of them was uncomfortable in their clothes, and it was obviously Eudora.
"I'm really starting to hate these clothes. It's really itchy and smells like fish too."
The King and Queen were talking about the foreign exchange program of both Eudora and Star. They were going to be transferred to both Earth and the academy. As the three of them faced the principal, the lights suddenly flicked. They looked near the door to see the young Butterfly playing with the switch. She kept flicking it up and down, amazed at the revelation of humans having magic in Earth. Star then faced her parents along with her sister and said...
"And you said there was no magic on Earth." She teased in a high-pitched tone.
"Star..." Eudora put her hand on her face. "That's not a magical thing..."
"Yeeaaah...this isn't going to work." Principal Skeeves announced.
Before he could cancel the Butterfly sisters' transfer, King River held out a wooden chest and opened it. The chest revealed a ton of gold and jewelry that was waiting to be spent. Before River and Moon could even negotiate to the man, Skeeves' eyes turned into dollar signs. They confirmed that they had successfully negotiated and there was no need for words of victory. Heck, this was probably the easiest negotiation they ever had in their lifetime.
"SHE IS GONNA LOVE IT HERE!" Skeeves exclaimed and raised both his arms up.
"I'm extremely worried that we will be under the supervision of an easily negotiable person." Eudora interjected and started sweating.
The lights once again, started flickering. They looked again at Star in annoyance, she was flicking the light switch again. With Moon sighing and River really pissed off, he suddenly requested...
"She's going to need a guide." He said with order in his voice.
Inside one of the schools classroom, was a boy writing notes. This boy is the one and only Marco Diaz. Little brother of Mako Diaz and was usually mocked by his extreme safety, managing to get the nickname 'safe kid'. Marco was the only one taking notes, next to his very bored classmates. All of them seems to be either bored or just straight up lifeless! As he continued to write notes about the current lesson, he heard his name being called by the loudspeaker.
"*bzzzt* Marco Diaz to the principal office. Marco Diaz to the principal's office." The loudspeaker called out.
Marco was shocked when he heard his name being called, not knowing any reason why he would be called. At first, he was actually scared at the fact that he was being called. He had so many questions in his mind that required answers. Why was he being called? Why didn't he call his brother, who was more of a troublemaker than Marco himself. What did he do to be called by the principal. Lastly, is he in trouble for doing something? After thinking about the last question, he suddenly had an idea. He thought that he could use this to his advantage, so that people would stop calling him 'the safe kid'. Marco's shock turned into a devious smirk.
"This will stop them from calling me 'Safe Kid' for sure." Marco thought before turning to his friends in pride.
"Oooooh looks like someone's in trouble." He said with a snarky attitude. Marco then stood up and walked to the front of the dull and lifeless class.
"So, everyone that voted me as 'safest kid' must be feeling puh-rity embarrassed right about now."
Man that tone is annoying.
Marco then walked to the teacher; Miss Skullnick, and asked...
"Do I need a hall pass?"
"Will you just GO ALREADY!" She growled to which Marco quickly took his leave. Sweating profusely as he went by.
Marco managed to make it to the outside of the principal's office. What he saw was the principal with a wooden chest in his arms, a blonde girl observing the water fountain with amazement, and his brother standing near the principal. Not being sure whether he should act like an ass or not, he walked next to the principal with a slouching position and an annoying smirk. Once he got near the principal, he noticed that there was a blue-haired girl next to the blonde one. She was slightly taller and more beautiful than the shorter one, so he just assumed that it was the blonde's sister.
"Marco! There you are!" Principal Skeeves said in a cheerful tone.
"Hey safe kid." Mako casually said like it was some kind of codename for him.
"Don't call me that." Marco muttered before turning to Skeeves.
"So, why'd you call me Skeeves?" Marco asked innocently.
"I want you two to meet our new foreign exchange students, Eudora and Star Butterfly!" He exclaimed as he stretched his arm out to the blonde and the blue-haired girl.
All three of them looked at the blonde, whose finger was slowly making its way to the button of the water fountain. When Star had pushed the button with enough force, the fountain attacked by sprouting water. Shocked, she quickly backed off and growled. She took this as a threat and immediately took a fighting stance,in which she stretched her arms and legs like an action movie fighter. As the boys continued to look in confusion, the only thing that came out of their mouths was only one simple word...
"...Huh?" They said in unison and looked at each other.
"Man, I didn't know that this was going to happen." Mako telepathically told his brother.
"I know, right? And I thought I was in trouble." Marco sent back.
"I knew something was off when they suddenly called your name." Mako rolled his eyes.
"Believe me, I was kinda surprised too." Marco crossed his arms, until Skeeves decided to interrupt their talk.
"I need a responsible; never-take-chances type to keep an eye on her and a loves-taking-risks type of boy to watch over her sister." Skeeves said in the same cheerful tone as he wiped his glasses. "And who better than YOU TWO! 'Safe kid' and his risky brother."
"What!" Marco shouted out in surprise. "Nononono! I am completely wrong for this! I am a 'misunderstood bad boy'!"
"I'm wrong for this as well! I'm actually safer than Marco here!" Mako quickly input.
Skeeves looked at Marco and Mako in anger before pinching their cheeks.
"You two are adorable!" Skeeves teased before walking away. "Well, I'm off to the ice cream shop daddy's getting all fifty-two flavors!"
"Wow." Mako said when Skeeves was out of earshot. "Maybe that's the reason to why he's fat and all the ice cream flavors are completely empty whenever I try to buy one."
Marco frowned and looked at Star who was trying to chew the water fountain, with the expense of having Mako and Eudora trying to pull her off. Once Star was pulled off the fountain, they started to walk around the school. The Diaz brothers were supposed to tour the Butterfly sisters inside of the school. While they were walking, Star was bouncing around in excitement. Mako was smiling at Star's happiness along with Eudora. While Marco, was slouching lower than before and walked slowly. So slow that both Mako and Eudora were actually walking slowly on purpose. While Star is in the midst of being extremely happy, she decided to talk to Marco.
"Thanks for showing me around, 'Safe Kid'!" She thanked as she continued bouncing. She then bit her wand.
"Bwahaha!" Mako suddenly laughed out. "Oh man! You only introduced yourselves just five minutes ago, and she's already calling you 'safe kid'! Haha, I think I'm liking you Star. Up high!"
Mako put up his right hand to which Star happily high-fived.
"Hey, don't forget about your sister here." Eudora playfully pouted.
"Of course I won't forget you!" Star then did a high-five with her sister.
Much to Marco's annoyance, he then started ranting about why he was called the 'safe kid'.
"Don't call me that!" Marco said out loud before facing Star. "Whatever you heard about me isn't true." Marco denied to the fullest.
"Don't listen to him Star, everything you heard about him is true." Mako contradicted his own brother, which made him madder than before.
"Will you stop feeding her wrong information!?" Marco emphasized the word 'wrong'.
"Fine, I'll stop." Mako said sarcastically. "Unless you stop telling people that you're not the 'Saaaafest kid' on the planet."
Marco knew there was no winning whenever he argued with Mako, because he knew everything about Marco. His life, his crush, heck, Mako even knows that Marco loves the song 'Space unicorn'. A song that he thought was completely ironic, but mostly comes out as stupid. After their short argument was over, he then continued ranting to Star.
"I don't know where people get the idea that I'm so safe!" Marco said before quickly spotting a loose tile. "Oh, watch your step. Loose tile."
"It's ridiculous!" He then saw an open locker that aimed for their heads. He made his way to the locker and closed it. "Careful."
"You wear a helmet in the gym shower, and you're labeled for LIFE!" Marco saw a broken glass on the floor, he got a hold of Star's arms and dragged her around it. "Oof, broken glass."
"You were saying?" Mako said with a deadpan expression. Marco heard this but ignored it.
"Is he really like that whenever a foreign student comes by?" Eudora asked Mako, who just looked at her and smiled.
"Trust me, it was way worse before." Mako chuckled and put on a sheepish grin. "He even went far as setting up a trap for himself, in which he had two people to 'fight him'."
"What! A trap for himself?"
"Don't worry, he wasn't hurt." Mako said casually. "It was only Ferguson and Alfonzo, his two best friends. After the poor guy saw through it, he immediately didn't trust the school and went away the next day."
"He only stayed for a day?" Eudora asked.
Before Mako can even answer her question, they saw Star doing something with wand. As she seemed to point her wand to an innocent butterfly, a beam came out the wand. The seemingly harmless butterfly then turned into a large, flesh-eating monster that was hungry for humans. The monster quickly spotted its victim when he saw a man casually walk around. The monster quickly got a hold of the man's arms and carried him away to a place nobody knows. This event caused both Marco and Mako to hide behind Star and Eudora. Once the monster was out of view, the two boys could only ask one question.
"What the heck was that!?" Both of the boys exclaimed in unison.
"Ooops." Star nervously chuckled. "I thought you wanted a little danger!"
Marco stopped hiding behind Star and looked at her suspiciously, Mako soon followed his brother. Both of them looked at Star intently before Marco broke the silence.
"Who...are you?" Marco asked both of the sisters.
"Were magical princesses from another dimension!" Star spun around her sister and created a rainbow over herself and her sister. The rainbow she created was normal and had nice, pretty, and harmless animals around it. The sight of something good that came from Star, gave relief to the other three. As usual, something wrong always happens. That perfectly normal rainbow she created, caught on fire. They don't know how, they don't know when, but it did. Both of the Diaz brothers continued to blink in shock until Marco spoke up...
"Welp. That brings us to the end of our tour. I'm going home now." Marco cheerfully said before walking away.
"Yep, this is the end. I'm going home as well." Mako smiled, carrying the same tone of cheerfulness that Marco had.
"Bye new friend! See you tomorrow! Bye! Bye new friend!" Star shouted out to the brothers as they slowly ran away from the crime scene.
"She's crazy!" Marco quickly screamed while running.
"I know right!" Mako replied.
"What do we do now?!"
"Just pretend you don't know her when the cops ask!"
After a few couple of minutes, firetrucks and police cars covered every inch of the burning school.
Wow. You must be really messed up to set a rainbow on fire, for TWO times in a row as well.
I don't really have anything to say other than thanks for reading the chapter and please leave a review. The review can be compliments, complaints, suggestions, and criticism. I'd really acknowledge people who write 'I can eat fifty hot dogs all at once', I love people who write those type of things.
