Chapter 3: English Tutor

Touma's POV:

He watched her as he sat across her try to figure out what the English words mean in Japanese with his head on his left hand and his right hand tapping the tune of the new song that he was composing. He gave out a fond smile as he saw her, once again, mutter something about the subject being so complicated under her breath for the millionth times.

"She's the one making the subject so complicated." Touma told himself mentally while still smiling.

And when Futaba saw him smiling at her frustration, she scowled at him and mutter something unintelligible that sounds like "... just because he's so good in English...should've.."

With that, Touma smiled wider. His girlfriend was just too cute sometimes. They were currently in the library studying for their English test tomorrow. More like, Futaba trying to kill every English book by stabbing it with her pens when she did not get it. Of course Touma finished studying after 20 minutes of studying because English came natural to him thanks to his parents who travelled a lot and his love for music including English music.

On the other hand, Futaba had no affinity for the said language. She confused everything with anything. Not to say that she was completely disastrous at it. She was just thinking too hard and really, language should not be learned by memorising every rules and words possible. It should be learned by practicing it out loud.

"Toumaaaa… Toumaaaa." Futaba asked him shyly while still holding their English book.

Touma stopped beating his tune with his pen and completely gave all his attention to Futaba.

"Yes?" Touma asked sweetly even though he knew already what she wanted.

Futaba pouted then just sighed. "Can you please help me with these words?"

Touma raised his eyebrows before walking around their table to stand behind Futaba's chair so he could see the words.

"This means… Nice to meet you." Touma pronounce the English words in Japanese so Futaba could understand.

Leaning even closer towards Futaba who was still sitting, Touma traced the next words as he translated them to her.

"This means… I saw you first."

Touma smiled when he saw Futaba smiling and nodding below him. He then tucked in her head under his chin while using his left arm to cage Futaba's body. He felt Futaba leaned and relaxed towards him. His right hand was still tracing the next words so he could translate them to her.

"And this means… I know you."

"...You have gold eyes." Touma buried his face in Futaba's hair.

"Yes…."

"Your hair is brown…."

"... You smell like rose."

"... You are precious to me."

"I like talking to you…"

"... I like you."

"No."

"I love you." With that, Futaba looked up to see Touma above her still smiling at her with that fond smile of his.

Futaba pouted. "You just made those up, didn't you?"

Touma chuckled out loud attracting even more attention to them from the people in the library but Touma could care less.

Touma leaned down to kiss Futaba's forehead. "No. I meant all of them."

Futaba pouted knowing that Touma did not really translate all the words in her English textbook but couldn't help but smile as well. Seeing Touma so happy made her so happy she couldn't help but just go with his antics. Really, the guy was incredibly sweet.

Touma brought her back to reality when he hugged her now with both hands. There was no use anymore in tracing the English words when Futaba knew already that he was not exactly tracing the right words.

"And to say goodbye in English is…"

Futaba looked up once again to him to hear the translation.

"I'll catch you later."

Hi, I hope you like that little teaser. I'm still working on the next chapter. See you! Review.
