Wanda pushed away from Juandissimo and slapped him, hard.
"Ow! What was that for?"
"You know very well what that was for, Juandissimo. I broke up with you, remember?"
"But mi amor-"
"Stop calling me that! I'm not going to tell you again, we're through and that's final!" She shot him one last glare and walked away to find Cosmo.
She spotted him going to the front door.
"Cosmo, wait!"
She quickly pushed her way through the sea of fairies, who were crowding her living room.
"Cos?" Emmett followed his green haired friend outside.
Cosmo stopped and hung his head, his shoulder slumping over.
"What happened?" Emmett asked
"I was an idiot, that's what happened. And not the un smart kind either." He paused for a second. "Even though I'm the un smart kind too." He took in a shaky breath.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"I thought we had something special. I thought our feelings were the same." He turned to look at Emmett, who was snow standing beside him. "I mean, we've spent the last six months sneaking out to see each other and kissing and cuddling. I mean, she even kissed me in ways I've only ever heard you talk about. But I guess she finally realized I'm not good enough for her."
His heart sank at the reality of that statement. He always knew it was true. But these last several months, he convinced himself that maybe he was, in some way, good enough. Unfortunately he was wrong.
"What makes you think that?" Emmett asked
"Because, Em, I saw her kissing Juandissimo just now." He looked away trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to fall.
"Cosmo?"
Emmett looked behind them and saw Wanda. He gave her a half smile before stepping back to give them a little privacy.
"Cosmo, please. Let me explain." Wanda approached him but left a little distance between them.
"You don't have to explain. I get it. He's better for you. I should have known I would never be able to make you happy like... him."
"No, Cosmo." She shook her head and took a step closer to him. "He is not better for me. In fact, I never thought he was. I was never truly happy with him. But," she reached out and took his hand, then stood in front of him to get his attention. "you make me happy. You're what's best for me Cosmo, you! I don't want anyone else."
"But, why did you kiss him then."
"What?" Her eyes went wide in shock. "I didn't kiss him, he kissed me. But I pushed him away and made it clear that I never want to be with him again. I want to be with you."
She wrapped her arms around his shoulders and looked into his eyes. Cosmo rested his hands on her hips and leaned his forehead against hers.
Emmett shifted uncomfortably behind them. "I'm just gonna go inside and find Fleur." He said and left the two alone.
"You really want to be with me?"
"Yes. I really want to be with you, and only you. I..." she trailed off.
She wanted to tell him how she really felt, but she didn't want to frighten him. After all, they've only been dating for a few months. Still, her feelings were very real and she couldn't deny them. She didn't want to.
"Wanda," Cosmo breathed out and pushed a strand of hair behind her ear, then cupped her face. Green eyes gazing into pink.
"I love you." He whispered and Wanda crashed her lips onto his.
A spark zipped through them like it did every time they kissed. It was as if each kiss bound them together in some supernatural way. They both felt it but neither one dared to question it. They just let it happen.
Wanda reluctantly broke the kiss and the two stood still panting.
"I love you too." She said breathlessly.
They both smiled at each other and when their breathing became normal again, Wanda took Cosmo by the hand.
"We should go back inside." She took him by the hand and led the way.

Juandissimo stood in the corner glowering at his love in the arms of that moron. How could Wanda choose someone so.. poor and unattractive, not to mention stupid, over him; Juandissimo Magnifico, one of the wealthiest, the hottest, the most sought after guy in school? What did that bumbling idiot have that he didn't?
He thought back to several months ago, when he was still with Wanda. He had given her everything. He bought her flowers, expensive chocolates and jewelry. He even let her drive his Jag! And every time they went out together, people gushed over them. Well, the girls did anyways... well maybe they didn't gush over Wanda, but they certainly gushed over him. What more Could Wanda want? She had the one guy that everyone else wanted.
And to top it off, Juandissimo even tried getting her to have a good time at Cupid's post finals party... okay, so maybe putting something in her drink was a bad idea on his part. But it's not like he took advantage of her. He stopped when she said to stop. He just couldn't understand how she ended up with Cosmo.
Flashback
After Wanda drank her punch, she started loosening up. She was dancing with her sister and their friends. She was laughing for the first time that night. She waved Juandissimo over and started touching his muscular body.
"I want you" she told him and he kissed her
He lead her upstairs and down the hall to one of Cupid's lavish rooms. She kissed him passionately and began undressing him. They laid on the bed as soon as he got her shirt off and continued kissing. She started mumbling something as he kissed down her neck. She gripped his hair tightly.
"Cosmo" She whispered
Juandissimo looked at her and when she opened her eyes, horror filled her features. She realized she wasn't with Cosmo.
"STOP!" She shouted
She pushed Juandissimo off of her and sat up, trying to cover her barely clothed upper half of her body. Tears poured down her face. Juandissimo looked both irritated and concerned. But before he could question what just happened, Blonda stormed in...
End flashback
The Latino gasped. It all made sense now. Wanda had feelings for Cosmo before she broke up with him!
Anger raged through the sexy Latino fairy. He knew he shouldn't have let her tutor that moron. He knew Cosmo had a crush on her, everyone knew.
As he stood there brooding, a curvy, blonde haired girl approached him.
"You know, being this upset will cause wrinkles." She smirked at him.
Jundissimo gasped and looked at her. "Daisy! What are you doing here?"
Daisy was one of Juandissimos ex girlfriends. It didn't last long between them because he couldn't stand the way other guys looked at her and his jealousy took its toll on their relationship.
"Well, I was in the neighborhood and thought I'd drop by." She winked "so, where's your date?" She asked
"I don't have one." He looked embarrassed.
"What?! You of all people don't have a date?" She said in surprise then laughed.
Juandissimo crosses his buff arms over his chest and huffed.
"Well, I don't have a date either." She looked at him suggestively. "I'm in town for the night. I'm staying at the Fairyton Hotel. If you don't have plans..."
Jundissimo looked at Wanda, who was still in Cosmo's arms. He grabbed Daisy's hand and lead her out of the house.
Fine! If Wanda didn't want him, he'd just do whatever he wanted with whoever he wanted. Not that he hasn't already. But that's besides the point.
XxX
The party was over and everyone was leaving. Cosmo helped Wanda clean up and noticed Blonda disappear up the stairs with Cupid.
"I thought she was with Luther. Or was it Collin? Or was it that guy from the pizza place?" Cosmo was confused. Wanda laughed
"She doesn't stay with the same guy for long." She rolled her eyes at the notion
"So, she just..." He trailed off
"She has never been in a serious relationship. She prefers one night stands."
"What does that mean?"
"Meaning she will sleep with a guy without be committed to them." She clarified
"Ohhh." He thought for a moment. "But, don't you have to be in love with someone first before you do something like that?"
"Well, that's ideal. But no, you don't. I mean, to make love with someone you would have to be in love. But not to have sex with someone. There's a difference..." she trailed off realizing how awkward it was talking about this.
"Have..." he hesitated briefly. "have you ever..." he blushed. He didn't really feel comfortable prying into her personal life like that, regardless if they were now together. In fact, it was probably best if he didn't know.
Wanda caught onto what he was implying.
"No, I haven't. Unlike my sister, I have always wanted to wait until I was in love and knew that person loved me back." She looked at him curiously. "Have you?"
His eyes went wide. "N-no. I-I have never done anything with anyone. Not even kiss, except with you." He looked away shyly.
"Do you want to watch a movie?" Wanda asked trying to break the awkward tension in the room.
Cosmo lit up. "Yes! But only if we can cuddle."
"Of course!" Wanda giggled and lead him to the couch, where the two sat in each other's arms, looking at the tv.
