CC awoke the next morning, naked under her sheets except for a pesky, uncomfortable bra. She huffed and unclasped it, throwing it to the edge of her bed without opening her eyes.

She lay there for a few seconds before wondering why she was naked. She didn't usually sleep that way unless...

Her eyes broke open and she squinted blankly at the ceiling as she took in the feel of her slightly sore, it's-been-a-while-since-I-used-those muscles.

She carefully turned her head to look beside her. Nobody. There must have been somebody last night, she decided. And he must have been good. She smiled at the residual sensations coursing through her body.

She sat up too quickly and winced at the headache of her hangover. "Ugh!" She groaned aloud, "Gotta stop drinking so much!"

She pulled on her robe and staggered into her kitchen to get an aspirin and a glass of water, drinking it on her way back into her room. She plopped down heavily onto the bed.

Despite how her head and tummy were feeling, the rest of her felt... sexy. She spotted her underwear tossed onto her vanity table. She raised an eyebrow. He threw it?

She made an effort to remember. She had had a great time. She had let loose. She had been comfortable with him. He had pleasured her and she had been relaxed enough to let him do it without feeling self-conscious. She had moaned and gasped and called his name aloud and- Niles! Niles was the name that had rolled off her tongue! Now that she remembered, she wasn't sure how she felt about the situation. She had enjoyed herself but...

Niles of all people? She was relieved he had left after... last night. She wouldn't have been able to face him, especially looking the way she did this morning. Her reflection in the vanity table mirror revealed smudged lipstick and unruly hair. Like he needs anything more to find fault with. Was it really Niles, though? CC wondered with doubt. She couldn't imagine how things could have led them to bed with each other.

She stood to go into her bathroom to take a shower. She removed her robe and noticed lipstick marks on her neck and on the tops of her breasts. She shivered and then smirked, wondering how he must be looking this morning. She could picture him trying to scrub off her ruby red lipstick from his face. She smirked, knowing that a good makeup remover was the only way to properly rid the evidence of an expensive Chanel brand from the lips.

She hopped into the shower and washed herself down. Every time her hands neared her breasts or her core, her body would tingle in remembrance. She wished her mind could recall last night's events as well as her body could.

She washed her hair and turned off the water before drying herself off. She got dressed and ready for the day and then went to the kitchen to have breakfast.

Maybe she had dreamt it was him? Maybe it was that student and I just pictured Niles? How can I be sure? Should I go over earlier? Have breakfast there and talk to him? She shook her head. And say what?! "Did we have sex last night?" No way! She couldn't ask him that! If they hadn't, he'd know she had imagined him while she was with another man or he would know she had dreamt about him while alone in bed.

And if theyreally had slept together...

That conversation might be even more awkward...

Whomever was with her last night, it couldn't have been a dream, she decided. Her body was still sensitized and of course there were the lipstick smudges.

She could vaguely recall them making a deal about something but she wasn't sure what exactly. She wasn't sure what she'd do when she saw Niles. It made her nervous but she tried to shove the jitteriness aside.

She grabbed her purse and keys and headed downstairs only to find her car missing. Shit, she cursed, where the hell did I leave it? God I hope the man I was with didn't steal it... Her heart suddenly palpitated. A blind date had once stolen her stereo... That had been embarrassing enough.

She decided to grab a taxi and worry about the car later.
