Hi, it's SilverAmarant! I have finally uploaded a new chapter for this story! So anyway, enjoy :)
'This, is so awkward,' Koto thought. Even when Koto went to classes that Hoody wasn't in, he'd watch her from outside the window. How no one noticed was beyond Koto's guess. It was finally time for break and she went outside to reunite with Hoody.
She spotted him leaned against a tree. Koto walked up to him and he turned to face her.
"Sorry I took a while. I didn't know where abouts to find you." She explained, sheepishly.
"It's fine," Hoody replied and pulled out a phone. "Anyway, BEN wants to talk with you for some strange reason." I took the phone off him and looked at his messages. Indeed, BEN wanted to talk to her.
Koto: Hi again.
BEN: It's good to talk to someone again.
Koto: So, is there a certain subject you'd like to talk about?
BEN: … I don't particularly care what we talk about. Just as long it's not girly and boring.
Koto couldn't think on what to say. 'Maybe I could talk about video games.' She thought.
Koto: Did you hear about the new Zelda game coming out on the Wii U?
BEN: Yeah, I heard. Hyrule Warriors. Looks pretty. Setting wise, anyway. Shame I don't have a Wii U. I'll have to get one.
Koto: I have a Wii U. Maybe when the game comes out and I buy it, I could let you play it if you want.
BEN: That'll be nice. Is Hoody still with you?
Koto: Yeah, why? Do you want to talk to him?
BEN: No. I need you to drive him away or get away from him? I need to tell you something secretly.
Koto: How? He was told to not let me out of my sight.
BEN: You're talking with me. So you're kind of being watched in a way.
Koto: But how can I drive Hoody away?
BEN: Think for yourself!
Koto groaned in annoyance. Hoody looked at her, oddly. "What's wrong with you?" He asked.
"Um… I need the bathroom. Can you give me a second?" She asked and Hoody nodded. She then left the area. She went to the bathroom and began to reply back to BEN.
Koto: I'm alone now.
BEN: Good.
Koto: So what do you want to tell me that's so secretive you have to drive Hoody away?
BEN: Have you forgotten?
Koto: ?
BEN: How you can survive Zalgo.
Koto: Oh yeah! Wait, you're telling me already?
BEN: Well I can keep it from you for the rest of your life if you want.
Koto: No no no. But, it's just strange how you're giving it to me, now.
BEN: Accept it with gratitude!
Koto: Sorry. So what is it?
BEN: In order to survive Zalgo, you have to-
Koto: BEN?
BEN: -
Koto: BEN!
BEN: -Sorry. Jeff came by. Now without interruptions, to survive Zalgo you have to earn his respect.
Koto: How do I do that?
BEN: How should I know?
Koto: Terrific.
BEN: But there is another way.
Koto: What?
BEN: You have to earn OUR respect.
Koto: By OUR, you mean you, Hoody, Slender man and everyone else in Slender mansion, don't you?
BEN: Yes.
Koto: How?
BEN: Just get on our good side. Don't disappoint us. :D
Koto sighed. 'This can't possibly get any worse. Or maybe it could. But how am I supposed to get on their good side? Pretend I'm interested in what they do? They're murderers.' She thought.
Koto: I guess I'm going to need be on my best behaviour whether I like it or not, aren't I?
BEN: Not all the time. We're not fond of a goody-two-shoes. It drives us insane.
'More than what you're already are.' Koto thought to herself, but decided not to reply with that comment, knowing that it wouldn't go well with the others.
Koto: Okay then.
A few minutes passed and BEN finally replied with another message.
BEN: Slender man needs me. I'll have to go.
Koto: Oh, okay then.
BEN: I'll delete this conversation from my computer and Hoody's phone so we don't raise suspicion from the others that I betrayed anyone. Bye.
And then the message board was gone. 'Wow, he deletes things quickly,' She thought. 'That's good.' There was then a knock at the bathroom door.
"You finished yet?"
Koto recognised Hoody's voice immediately. 'Does he have no patience? I haven't been in here long.'
"Yeah. I'm coming out now," She replied and opened the door. Hoody smiled.
"Good. We should start heading to class. Lesson's going to start soon." He explained and lead her to her next class. Koto pouted.
'Why does he have to do that? I'm not going to flee the school. I'm not that kind of person.' Koto passed a glance at Hoody. An idea then came to mind.
"Hey Hoody," I started. Hoody looked at me.
"Yes?"
"What do you like to do in your spare time?" I asked. Hoody sent me a strange look. That question was better in my head. "I mean, apart from killing other people." I defined, trying to sound less weird. I made sure not to raise my voice so no one nearby would hear.
"... I'm not really into telling people about myself," Hoody said, hesitant to say anything.
"Could you at least tell me your real name?" Koto pestered. Hoody bit his lip.
"I really don't want to say. It's very personal."
"But the school knows, don't they?"
"... Please don't ask them."
"But I wanna know." Koto whined.
Hoody sighed, arrogantly. "You're starting to annoy me! I don't want to say, okay? So stop!" He snapped.
Koto shut up. 'Oh great, I already ruined my chance on getting respected. But I can make up for this. I'm sure I can. I have to.'
After school ended, Koto began to make her way home; but of course, to her dismay, accompanied by Hoody.
"I hope your mom doesn't mind if I stay at your home for a bit," Hoody finally brought up.
"What?" Koto exclaimed, alarmed.
"I have to keep an eye on you at all times. Unless I know you're asleep. You can't exactly contact people in your dreams after all," Hoody explained. "This will be happening every day so better start getting used to it now." Koto sighed and gave a small nod.
'This better be worth my trouble.'
And that is chapter 3. So what will happen next?
You may or may not have noticed but I've spelt Hoody's name differently in this chapter because I recently found out that it's spelt Hoody not Hoodie. Oh well.
