Chapter 3- Entering the Unknown
It took Percious about a day to trek out from Goodneighbor to Sanctuary Hills. As Percious entered the abandoned settlement he noticed no signs of this ' Crazy Robot' that Horatio had told him about, he made the short journey up the hillside to Vault 111.
Percious saw no obvious way to gain entry, in the other vaults Percious has seen the only way to enter was using a device called a Pip-Boy. Percious had met a few salvager's during his five years wandering The Commonwealth and according to them getting your hands on a Pip-Boy was like getting a piggy back ride from a Deathclaw, it was not going to happen.
To his left Percious noticed a small cabin, he entered and found a red button, which he then pressed, a noise then started coming from the vault entrance, which led Percious to believe it was about to open. Percious rushed over to the vault entrance and stood in the middle of the elevator, which then started to descend.
When Percious had descended he could not believe it, that's all you had to do to get in?
Why couldn't Horatio and Jake figure it out? Then Percious remembered he was in Goodneighbor at the time.
Goodneighbor was run by self appointed mayor Hancock, a Ghoul, with a reputation of killing those who crossed him, however Hancock did welcome anyone through the door Ghouls, Synths or Super Mutants, it did not matter to him, just as long as you remembered who was in charge.
Percious had heard the longer you drank in The Commonwealth, the stupider you became and Horatio and Jake had to be pretty thick to drink more than one glass of whatever Whitechapel Charlie served you.
Then again if that had been Horatio and Charlie's first time in The Third Rail, and they had not had stupidity thrust upon them before then, how could they have not worked out how to get into the vault?
The doors of the elevator had finished opening and Percious entered the vault, it was deathly silent, as Percious made his way down to a room at the end of the first corridor, as he entered the room he saw about twelve cryogenic pods.
