"And I know all the games you play, 'cause I play them too." – George Michael ['Faith']

Harry stood looking down at the frozen form of the infamous Sailormoon, who was currently laying flat on her back on the bed that he had slept in the previous night. It was the following day and he had still not removed the spell he'd placed on her. She was frozen with a look of surprise on her face, eyes wide at the moment the spell was cast. He had tossed around the idea of unfreezing her when he got home the other night and taking care of things right there and then, but he had been tired and in need of a good night's sleep. No sense in trying anything when he couldn't put 2 and 2 together. But now he was rested and ready to play this little scene out to the end.

He had no idea where her little friends had went, but they weren't his concern. At least not yet. Once he dealt with this one, then he could return and deal with the others, if it was the Ministry's wish that he do so. He was under the impression that they were more concerned with the identity of her than the others. Harry knew he had to hurry up and get this over with before those who sent him on this chase got impatient and before Sailormoon's companions came looking for her. A knot of worry settled itself into his stomach as he thought about that. He didn't want to explain the damage to the room to the owner. He had enough to worry about.

"Where is she?"

"I don't know Rei. Her mother said she never came home last night. She had said she thought she was with one of us." Ami said with a sigh.

"Stupid Usagi. Probably got stuck at the candy store over night." Chibiusa muttered, her face going cross. She crossed her arms over her chest and huffed. Her future mother had not shown up at home so Chibiusa had made her way to the Hikawa Jinja to find Rei, thinking she had bunked there for the night. Instead she had found the other girls worriedly talking about where their leader could be. She half-paid attention to what they were saying, more focused on her own thoughts.

She grasped the locket on her chest, feeling a strange ache suddenly coursing through her body. Where could she be anyway? What was this feeling she was having? Could Usagi be in danger somewhere?

"We're all connected, my daughter…"

Her head snapped up, the sound of her mother's voice echoing through her head. 'Connection, yes. Maybe I should follow it, and take the others with me.' She quickly started to her feet, startling the others out of their conversations. "I think we should go and look for her instead of sitting and talking about it!"

The others were surprised at the intensity with which Chibiusa spoke. There were nods all around, each agreeing that that was the best route of action. Everyone else rose from their seats and followed Chibiusa out, each not paying attention to the small pang of worry for their missing leader, that ounce of fear that ran through them for unknown reasons.

Harry thrust his wand out and whispered the words that would reverse the spell on Sailormoon, wanting to talk to her now. He waited, watching the bluish color vanish from her body. Blue eyes blinked several times, then her body shot up in bed as she glanced around, her eyes landing on the tall figure of Harry Potter. She shrieked and crawled off of the bed, backpedaling to the sliding glass doors that lead out to the balcony.

"Who are you?" She asked in a frightened tone, one hand twitching down at her side, ready to call the Tier to her hand.

"Harry Potter. And I have been searching all over for Japan for you, miss." He began, aiming his wand at her as he made his way slowly around the bed, watching for any signs that she was going to flee.

"Why are you searching for me? What do you want?" She screamed, her wrist flicking as the Tier was summoned to her gloved hand, aiming in precise manner at him.

Harry glanced down at the slender white weapon in her hand. This was his chance to get a good look at the weapon she possessed up close and personal instead of far away. This is where all of her power came from, this fragile looking thing? He looked up at her, keeping his focus on her completely, though he could have sworn he saw the small gem at the top glowing. Maybe it was just his imagination.

"You've been causing quite a stir in this world, going around and performing magic in front of the muggles! Don't you know how dangerous that is? You could expose everything, more than you really know! I'm searching for you, to find out whom you are and put a stop to this!"

Sailormoon's face scrunched into an expression of confusion. What in the kami was a muggle? Thank god she had been studying her English as of late or she would have been completely lost. "We…have done nothing wrong! We're only protecting the innocent!" She yelled. "I can't tell you who I am. I'm sorry. Maybe we can talk this out?" She asked, a gentle glow surrounding the tip of her wand and the locket at her chest. She was hoping to appeal to him in a non-confrontational way.

"I'm sorry, I can't leave until you tell me who you are. And I can't have you attacking me before hand. Accio!" He pointed his wand at the Tier in Sailormoon's hand, watching the weapon shake and rattle then it launched itself out of her hand, heading straight for Harry. Fingers reached up, just barely getting a grip on it as he brought it down to eye level. It was cold to the touch and no longer glowing. He'd have to perform some spells later on it to see what this thing was all about. It was definitely the most intricate and beautiful item he'd ever seen. He dropped it behind him and continued to focus on Sailormoon.

"It's dangerous if I tell you. We've kept our identities a secret since the beginning for good reason. The agents of Chaos are out there and if they knew who we really were, they could get us any time. It just can't happen. Are you one of them? Has Chaos come to you with promises of power and success? Maybe I can open your eyes." She softly said and clasped her hands over her locket then brought them out before her. A gentle silver glow appeared, taking the shape of a flowering crystal. She smiled and expanded the power.

"Chaos? Who or what is that? And what is that thing in her hand that radiates such a light? The wand can't be her source of power, it's this crystal in her hands that is! If I take it from her, maybe I can reason with her then. It's a little underhanded but I've got to do what I must. So why do I feel so energized in the glow of this light? No, no. I can't. She's trying to put a spell on me." Harry was thinking, lifting his wand and preparing his own counter-spell. "Expecto Patronum!" Silver vapor emitted from the end of his wand, growing stronger in the light to take the form of a stag, proud and true as it turned its head towards the light, having every intent on protecting its master.

"Do you want to know who I am? All I am is an ordinary girl who just wants to be with her friends and her beloved until my destiny calls for me." Sailormoon called to him, the light increasing…

From outside the building, five girls in varying colored fukus were standing and watching the show. Silver light poured from the top windows only, giving them the indication that that was where Usagi was. They had forgotten, for a moment that they could sense when the others were in trouble. Perhaps that was what the feeling was earlier. They only hoped they weren't too late.

"Let's go up!" Mars shouted, and lead the others towards the front door of this building. But before they could get there, there was a couple of loud shouts from the room where everything was coming from, a flash of blue light and then the silver light got stronger until there was an explosion. The windows shattered, raining glass down below, the girls running inside for cover. Fear and worry raced through them, wondering what kind of site would welcome them once they made it to the top.

"I'm pretty sure the whole neighborhood heard that one." Venus grumbled, only hoping that the authorities didn't come or that no one was in their right minds to figure it out. Or maybe Sailormoon set it up so that no one would. Maybe they were the only ones who heard it.

The group arrived at the top floor, finding debris and broken parts of a door to greet them. They all made a bee line into the now open apartment, surveying the destruction before them. Broken glass and furniture were everywhere, and some spots on the wall were blackened or blown through. They stuck together, making their way towards the bedroom. What they saw made their blood run cold. A young man with black hair, wearing simple civilian clothing was unconscious, clutching something in his hand.

"Oh god no. Usagi!" Venus shouted, pushing past Mars and running over to the now broken sliding glass windows. In a crumpled and bloodied heap, lay the form of Usagi in her civilian clothes, unconscious. Mercury went to check on the other huddled figure in the room, using her computer to scan his vital signs.

"Is he going to be okay?" Jupiter asked, peering curiously over Mercury's shoulder.

"For the most part, yes. Besides the cuts and bruises, he'll wake up in no time." She stood up and glanced over to where Venus, Chibimoon, and Mars were huddled over Usagi. They had to get her out of here before anyone discovered them or that guy woke up. Question was, why did he take her here anyway? That could all be discussed later, Mercury thought. "Jupiter, go pick her up. Minna, I think we need to go before someone finds us here." She said a bit louder, alerting everyone.

Jupiter lifted their odango-haired leader into her arms, being careful as they made their way out of the room. Venus lingered behind, eyeing Harry's limp form on the floor. She watched him, a frown marring her face before she went over and picked him up, grunting with the effort and set him down on the bed. At least he wouldn't have to wake up on the cold floor alone.

"Sorry, kid. Whoever you are. That'll teach you to come after Sailormoon again. Let's just hope you don't. We'll be waiting if you do." Venus whispered, then left the room to join everyone else in seeing Usagi home safely.
