Chapter 3

Who the hell is Team Plasma?

"Puppy!" squealed Bianca as the three of us walked along Route One. The cause of her excitement was lillipup that had appeared. Cheren and I only sighed in acceptance of what we knew was only the beginning.

"We'll meet you at Accumula Town, 'kay?" I said.

"Okay," Bianca said happily before chasing after the lillipup.

I heard Cheren mutter "Why can't she control herself?" I smiled sadly and patted his shoulder. When we got to town we checked out the Poké Center. Inside was a Poké Mart on the right side and on the left was an area with tables, chairs, sofas and bookshelves. We had Nurse Joy heal our pokémon and when we got them back Isaac's pokéball began to shake violently so I let him out. The moment his feet touched the ground he scrambled up me so he could sit on my shoulders. I smiled, lifted him off my shoulders, and held him close. After that we went outside to see if Bianca had arrived but instead of Bianca there was a growing crowd.

"What in the world?" I gasped as Cheren and I joined the crowd. Drawing the attention of everyone was a group of people in skin tight militaristic uniforms standing on a platform.

Cheren's eyes narrowed and whispered to me, "They look shifty. I don't trust them." I was about to agree with him when the weirdos parted to let this creepy guy with a mucus green colored hair through. The sight of him scared me and I felt Cheren tense up beside me. The creep was wearing this dark camouflage robe with an eye-patch on his right eye. His good eye was blood red and he used it to scan the crowd. When he gazed at me I hugged Isaac tightly against my and his eye twitched.

The man*thank Arceus* returned his gaze to the rest of the crowd. It was right about then when I got the feeling someone was watching me. I looked around and saw a boy looking at me in wonder. He looked like he was a year or two older than me and his eyes and hair were tea green. Our eyes met and he blushed before looking back at the creepy guy. I sighed as I turned my attention to the creepy eye-patch man.

"What an eyesore," I muttered; the creepy guy cleared his throat and got ready to speak.

"My name is Ghetsis and I am here on Team Plasma's behalf," he announced ("Now I really don't trust them," whispered Cheren.), "I have come to talk about pokémon liberation." Cheren and I exchanged looks. This Ghetsis guy went on for a while about how about how people and pokémon live together, that people didn't deserve them and other stuff. The entire time he was talking Cheren's hands were clenched into fists and his left eye was twitching. When Ghetsis said that pokémon were unhappy with people Cheren lost it.

"Oh yeah," Cheren yelled as his body shook with anger, "Had do you know that they're unhappy with us? If they were they would have left and stopped appearing before us long ago!" Cheren's breathing was labored as he glared at Ghetsis. The crowd seemed to hold its breath as the grunts behind Ghetsis gasped. A muscle twitched on Ghetsis's face.

"That includes my message," Ghetsis snapped before storming off with his grunts hurrying to keep up. The crowd broke up leaving me with Cheren and the green haired boy from earlier, who seemed to be deep in thought.

"Good riddance," Cheren snarled, "He left only because he couldn't come up with an answer. Cowardly, mucus haired, bastard."

"Did you feel the malice that was radiating off of him?" I asked.

"Hell yeah. Dang, I'd hate to be his wife or kid."

"Why's that?"

"It's because I have this feeling that if his wife or kid didn't obey him he abuse them. Verbally, physically and mentally."

"That's very perceptive."

"And anyway, the moment they said Team Plasma my gut told me not to trust them." Cheren stopped for a moment before continuing, "If some organization ever says they're team something and they have a uniform, then you should immediately not trust them." I couldn't help but agree with his logic.

"They probably have some other motive," I said, "It's probably domination of Unova or something similar with pokémon liberation their cover story. They probably got the cover story idea from Team Galactic. My friend Lizabeth, who lives in Sinnoh told, told me that Team Galactic's cover story was that they were looking for new energy sources. However, now that their boss is gone they're actually now doing that." As I stopped to take a breath Cheren seemed to be thinking about something. Just as I finished catching my breath Cheren started to speak.

"What really makes my temper up is that he makes it seem like pokémon are unhappy living with us," Cheren growled, "It's complete bullshit. If they were unhappy with us they wouldn't stay by our sides and appear to us."

"Why don't we ask our pokémon if they're unhappy with us," I suggested.

"Good idea," Cheren said. With that said I put Isaac on the ground and let my other pokemon out of their pokéballs while Cheren let his tepig out. I sat down on the back of my legs and stared at my pokemon.

"Okay guys, are you happy with traveling me?" The pokemon blinked before tackling my leg, which made me smile. I looked at Cheren and laughed quietly as he gently told his tepig to let go of his legs. As he slowly removed the overly happy tepig from his leg I noticed that my dear friend was no longer awkwardly proportioned. I felt my face warm as I realized how good looking he had become.

"Hey Tomoyo," Cheren asked worriedly, "Are you feeling alright? Your face is flushed?" I was saved from answering his question when a soft voice behind us said, "Just now your pokemon were saying..."

A/N: I'm so sorry I took so long to update but high school has been a bitch and I've had multiple family emergencies. I won't be updating for a while cause I'm finishing the outline for this story. Thank you for being patient.
