Where we were last:
"Haruhi, hey. We've never been to the mall," I breezed her off, with an apoligetic-don't-hurt-me-amused smile. "Let's all go Saturday."
"Eh?!" She glared at me. "Who makes the plans here? I do!"
I blinked.
"But it's not a bad idea. Fine. Let's go. Tell everyone 1:45PM. No later, got it?"
I blinked again and smiled, with a nod.
She then nodded, approvingly at me, and started to walk.
"Comin'?" She turned her head back to me.
I smiled, and walked with her.
She does seem off today...
I... Guess the only thing I can do... I'll just...
I'll just keep smiling for her.
~Haruhi's POV~
After the hard week of school, I woke up joyfully to my empty house. Sun glared down at me, but that didn't matter. What mattered was that today the S.O.S. brigade was going to the mall!
Ok, it musn't seem like much, but it is to me. Mikuru, Yuki, Koizumi and, most of all, Kyon will be there! It's not like I'm anxious to actually see him, or anything, I'm just worried about what that idiot will do to humiliate us of the brigade! I'm definitely not excited to see him there!
I'm sure he'll do something really stupid.
I got up from the warmth of the covers, resisting their tempting calls of 'Haruhi, come back!' and 'Haruhi, you'll miss us', and walked to the bathroom to brush my hair, teeth, wash my face, the normal routine. Just a little bit groggily did I do so.
I bet today will go awesome.
I was brushing my hair at the moment, eyes wider than when I'd first woken up, more awake.
I've just got this feeling!
I smiled at myself in the mirror, and turned around to walk to my closet.
What should I wear, what should I wear? It's not like it would matter too much, but- what should I wear!
Many outfits in my selection caught my eye.
That looks cute. So does that. But...
My eyes glanced across the perfect outfit, sweet and went with my ribbons for the day. Ordinary, but cute, and not too much. How did I miss it? The outfit was nothing mere but a yellow, long-sleeved blouse, and a blue skirt that was modest enough. But, really, why would I care about modesty?
I grabbed the outfit off of the hanger, and smiled at how it looked. I look awesome in anything!
Running to the door, I grabbed the white purse that would go perfectly with the outfit, "I'm leaving!" I yelled to the empty, dark house and ran out.
I just know that today is going to be great!
~Kyon's POV~
The day was too damn hot to have to go through. And worst yet, I was running late.
*Just A Little While Ago*
I was enjoying the most wonderful dream, everything was blissful. There was no Haruhi, or espers, or dangerous crap because of Haruhi, and did I mention no Haruhi? Ms. Asahina was smiling at me, we were in the park. Everything was going well, then a booming voice called out to me, and something was thrown at me.
My eyes shot open, what the hell is going on?
My eyes met those of my little sister's.
"You're sleeping the day away, you big dummy!" She stuck her pink tongue out at me, and ran out of the room.
I groaned and looked at the clock.
Even the tiniest glance of the time told me I was in trouble, eyes widened, I shot up.
Shit.
No time was left to be waste as I made my graceful dash in getting ready. Throwing on this, brushing this, cradling my toe as I hit it on the wall.
Finally, I was ready to get out, and hope I didn't get any problems with the annoying idiot.
"I'm going," I called to the house, and immediately a flash of brown, pink and blue dashed towards where I was standing.
"K-yon! Where are you going?" My little sister glared up at me with her brown eyes.
"To Pluto," I looked down at her, sarcasm in my eyes.
"Pluto's not a planet!" She argued.
I sighed and looked up, Why? Why must I have a somewhat smart little sister?
"How do you know?"
"How would you not know?"
"How would you know that I don't know that you don't know that I don't know?" I smirked at her, knowing that this would confuse her.
Her cheeks flared red as she glared even harsher, "take me with you!"
"No."
Her frown deepened, eyes grew wet, and her cheeks got redder, if possible, "But... Kyon..."
"I know! Start calling me Onii-chan, and I'll think about taking you!" I smiled, snapping my fingers and looking away from her. I hate seeing her cry,
She paled, and pushed me out the door, slamming it behind her.
"Not a chance, you big dummy!"
"Was worth a shot!" I laughed, and continued to walk to the meeting place.
I am going to be so late.
~Haruhi's POV~
I arrived earlier than the appointed time, and found only Itsuki there.
"Hey Itsuki, where's Mikuru and Yuki?" I asked him, those two will surely get a penalty come Monday.
"Asahina-san came down with a cold, and Yuki had other plans," he smiled at me. Maybe not, things do come up.
I oh'd and we started small conversation, how was this, did you hear about that?
Kyon interrupted that when he came strolling up to us, he's late.
I started to glare, but then looked at his shirt. He was wearing a yellow shirt, not ironed or anything, but we were matching... I slightly blushed.
We were actually matching! Sure, what does matching have anything to do with anything? But, who wouldn't be sentimental about something like that? I shook it off.
"Late!" I yelled, and pointed my finger at him. "As penalty!... You have to buy everything that me and Itsuki want!"
He rolled his eyes and muttered a shut up, I was going to hector him on that, who was he to have the right to say that to me? Itsuki interrupted this.
"Hey! Let's just go in already! Here, I'll pay for the first thing that we do, we can go get something to eat!" He said, awkwardly, smiling like he usually did.
I glared, but then pouted and scoffed.
"Ok! But since you so rudely interrupted!" I started, and he laughed awkwardly. "I want to eat at the finest restaurant here!"
I then walked off to find one, and they slowly followed behind.
~Kyon's POV~
I rolled my eyes as we were seated in a small booth next to a window. Haruhi smiled proudly and evily and Itsuki just had on his usual smile. I'm pretty sure he has a lot of money, so he'd better take it easy on what he wants when I have to buy the shit.
However, it's only Haruhi, Koizumi, and I. Where's Ms. Asahina and Yuki?
"Hey. Where's Ms. Asahina and Yuki?" I asked, more concerned about Mikuru. Not sure if I let on that or not.
Haruhi looked at me, why did I see some anger in her eyes? Shit, what did I do? Whether it mattered or not, Haruhi covered her anger with a nonchalant look, and looked away.
"Mikuru's sick," Haruhi cut off Koizumi and explained while looking away, "And Yuki's busy."
I nodded my head.
She rolled her eyes, and grabbed the menu.
A waitress came over and asked if we wanted to start off with any drinks, Haruhi asked for a water, Itsuki smiled at her and asked for the same, and I declined.
She came back and asked if we were ready to order.
"Nahh. If we were, we'd tell you, now, wouldn't we?" Haruhi said in a sweet tone, and the waitress put on a smile. Nodding her head, the waitress walked away. Haruhi took a drink of her water.
I glared, what the hell is wrong with her? The waitress was being polite enough. I shook my head, and brought out the menu.
It still gets annoying how much of a bitch that Haruhi can be.
~Haruhi's POV~
"What's with the glare, Kyon?" I looked up, he'd picked up the menu and tried covering up his glare. But I'd caught on.
"What the hell gives you the right to decided if we're ready or not to order?" He hissed. "And why were you so rude to the waitress?"
I blinked, "because I'm the brigade leader."
"Oh. Right," he said, sarcastically, and I glared. "Because you're the brigade leader you get to boss everyone around! And torture Ms. Asahina!"
I snapped, "why the hell are you bringing Mikuru into this? She's my plaything I can do what I want with her anyway!"
He stood up, "that doesn't give you a fucking right! You're just a bossy little kid who doesn't know when to stop!"
I stood up, "I still don't see why the hell you're getting worked up! If you were ready to order, you could've just said so!"
His words hurt, but I won't let him see that. Itsuki looked at both of us, stunned.
"I'm getting worked up because you are just a little bitch who complains and bosses everyone the hell around! You just do what you want, and before you know it, guess what? You'll become an asshole nobody likes!" He shouted, and I stared, shocked.
I can't believe he just said that. I can't believe it.
I shook my head, at an utter loss for words. Itsuki must have seen my discomfort, because he stood up and put a hand on my shoulder.
"Haruhi," Itsuki said, and frowned. "Wait for me outside. I still have to pay."
I nodded, sadly, and walked out.
Why?
Why does this always happen?
~Kyon's POV~
"You're an idiot," Itsuki pointed out, and put the money on the table. "An utter idiot."
He then walked out, leaving me there.
What did I just say? What the hell did I just do? She deserved it right?
I decided to just go home for the day. No use staying anymore, is there?
Why did I say that? It's her fault, right?
Why did that just happen?
I couldn't stop asking myself those questions.
This is terrible.
~Haruhi's POV~
I can't believe I'm crying. I'm near to an adult, and crying over an idiot like him!
"Haruhi," Itsuki said when he reached me, I was waiting just outside the door.
I really needed someone to cry on to, I usually have something to yell at me to stop crying, but at the moment...
"Shh. It's okay," he patted my back.
I'm so dumb.
After minutes of crying, I stopped.
"Ugh," I groaned. "Sorry."
He looked at me, confused. "It's not your fault."
I looked up at him, and he smiled slightly. "I want to go to the bathroom to clean up." He nodded, and followed me.
"I'll wait right here," he said as I walked inside the bathroom.
Nobody's in this bathroom. That's good. I reached into my purse and pulled out my pocket knife. Pushing up my yellow sleeve, I smiled sadly. I have got to quit. And sliced.
This isn't right. But I have right to do this, right? It's all Kyon's fault.
After about 20 minutes, or longer. I don't know. I was too caught up in tears, blood, and my thoughts. I cleaned up the blood and wrapped the scars up in toilet paper that I'd seriously have to take off once I got home. Gross.
Feeling light-headed, I walked out of the bathroom.
"Suzumiya-san. Do you want to go home?" Itsuki asked, and I nodded, my head felt too light to talk. "Okay. Let's go."
Everything started to blur once I took not but one step.
"Suzumiya-san? Suzumiya-san!" I heard Itsuki's faint voice yell out, and I fell on the ground on my knees.
"Uhh?" I mumbled out. He frowned.
"You look pale. Here. Get on my back. I'll take you home," he said, worried.
I frowned, "what?"
"Please get on. Now."
My brain possibly wasn't working right, because I climbed onto his back.
He moved slowly, making sure I was on securely and then walked.
I frowned into his back.
This is so stupid, but my face feels really heated up...
So.. Stupid...

Hippywippy- Easier to read? Hmm... I'll try? But what do you mean? Longer paragraphs? Less description-like descriptions? But I'm glad that you liked it! And thank you for reviewing!
Anyway. I have to go update the other ones so I guess those'll have to be up tomorrow... Or later DX
